So I'm at work and I receive a phone call. Looking at the caller ID it says "Carparts.com". I figure it's going to be a marketing call but pick up anyway. Unbeknownst to me it's Bry, one of carparts.coms "Customer Service Advocates". He's calling me to issue me a refund on a recent purchase I had made. I had ordered a front bumper for my commuter car that looked great but upon closer inspection had what appeared to be flex/stress cracks close to where the corner of the headlights meet the bumper. Not wanting to go through the hassle of trying to ship the bumper back I chose to install it anyway. So getting a call for a refund was a pleasant surprise. The fact that Carparts took the time to read my initial post about the bumper and the very minor problems that came with it and their willingness to reach out and want to make up for it shows what kind of company you are dealing with. 100% awesome company to buy any of your car parts from and great customer service. They definitely have shown me that they appreciate and want to earn my business. Will undoubtedly make any future purchases through Carparts.com with no hesitation. Thank you Bry and Carparts.com for your outstanding commitment to want to make things right!
I called their phone number to order a bumper cover. The rep took my payment information and told me it would be shipped out right away. Later, I got an email saying the part was out of stock. Called again to resolve the issue. The rep told me that they couldn't honor the original sale, but conveniently, there was another part I could purchase from them, that ONLY cost $73 more. They refused to honor their original pricing. This is a scam.

Ordered some replacement air springs. I got emails indicating a delivery date. I got a call from FedEx on the second delivery date indicating they needed a signature(I was not in the office for 2 days) and they had made 3 attempts to deliver, so I could either get it delivered to a Wahlgreen's(wth?) or I could drive to a town an hour away and pick it up at FedEx. I told them I wasn't interested in either option. I contacted CarParts, who said the parts were being returned to them, and a credit would be issued upon return and my order was canceled. I did not choose the shipper, I did not make a selection indicating a signature needed to be obtained. What surprised me was CarParts made no attempt at the point to take care of the order or pay any attention to customer satisfaction.

I ordered a part that was described as having a chrome finish, but it turned out to be plastic. I wrote a bad review based on that, but they contacted me, apologized for the confusion and refunded my purchase. Nothing is perfect but it's nice to know that it will be made right when things don't work out.

Don't waste your time. They don't honor price match fr competitors. They will literally email you back and tell you that you found the item at a good price and should take advantage and buy the item elsewhere. I ordered a part on 3/29/23…on 4/4/23 I received an email telling me the part is out of stock. Waste of time and money. Go elsewhere. Customer service is garbage.

I ordered a part, and it has been sitting in "awaiting carrier pickup" status for 5 days now. When I call they have no answer for me other than my package out of all of the packages in the country being shipped is the ONE package traveling through USPS that no one is scanning. How convenient! When I tell them to just cancel the order and refund me they tell me to give them 24 to 48 hours, which I was told to also do 3 days ago. Don't waste your time with this company! Didn't want to even give them 1 star but had to.

I ordered a brake kit for my wife's car. The website stated that the order would be delivered on Saturday. On Friday I received a text from FEDEX saying that my ordered wouldn't be delivered until Monday. I checked the status of my order on Carparts.com and it still stated that my order would be delivered on Saturday. I called Carpart.com and the lady told me that they don't pay for weekend delivery and that they have a policy of delivering within 5 working days. I asked why both places on their website said Saturday. She said she didn't know. I asked about returning these as my wife was going out of town on Sunday. She said I could return the brake kit but that I would have to pay the freight charge. $18.00 when it was not my fault. Do not buy from them, they list delivery dates just to get you to buy, knowing that they cannot deliver on that day. STAY AWAY!

Purchased a part for 1973 T/A restoration I am doing. Website guaranteed part would fit(see photo) and it did not. Only fits 1980-81 after researching further. Customer service would not do anything to help me out even though their website was wrong. Said I was out of the 90 day window to return. Would not even provide a credit or discount for future purchase to help me out a little. Guess a guarantee means something different to this company.
UPDATE; So I contacted customer service a third time after seeing they responded to my review. They offered me 10% off future purchase. So let's do the math. That would be $10 on a $100 purchase. So they would actually still make more money off me while I am out $100. As a matter of fact you can go to the site and still see the incorrect listing that says guaranteed to fit for the part I purchased but they don't honor that policy if over 90 days. Again go somewhere else, help out us little guys where $100 means a lot!. Total disappointment in this company's customer service.

I purchased a very expensive hood scoop, order #CPZ*******. The scoop is awesome and looks great on my truck, but not without some extra work that should not have been required. Even though the scoop arrived covered in protective plastic, it had scratches that required some work to remove. Secondly, the flexible rubber seal was not long enough requiring me to buy a piece and modify it. I wrote a first negative review complaining about the instructions warning against taking it through a car wash with brushes. I later realized the car wash I frequent had chamois, not brushes. I received a very favorable response from the company with compensation for the problem. In spite of the issue I had with the product, my own ingenuity and assistance from the company made the transaction enjoyable. I will do business with the company in the future.

I purchased seat heater pads for my classic Silverado. Parts description says "direct fit replacement" and Q&A states the pads are for both driver and passenger side. In fact, the wiring and the pre-placed adhesive only works for the passenger side seats (the wiring should go towards the center console). If I adhered the pad to my driver seat as manufactured, the wiring would be too short. I extended the wires to make it work for me, but for someone looking to remove and replace it's more than what they should do. I wrote a review on the product page at carparts.com and they immediately reached out to me to clarify the issue and see what they could do to help. After explaining what I did to make the pad work they sent a small refund for my trouble because of the inaccurate parts description. I'm appreciative of the responsive correspondence and friendly customer service and I was happy that they took my review seriously.

Horrible experience, i ordered 3 parts, most of them didn't work, when i asked for the refund, they said they were approved, however, the refund never arrived. I have called 10 times but nobody have a consistent answer. After 5 weeks, I am still waiting for the refunds. Do not buy from them, you will regret having purchased from them.

I purchased a large drivers side tow mirror for my 2015 Ford F350. It installed fairly easily and looks great. I had a minor issue with the power tilting; CarParts.com responded immediately offering options to make sure I was happy. Bought a radiator from them for my super duty. Radiator leaked right out of the box. They shipped a replacement, but I have to pay the labor twice. Won't ever use them again

I purchased an idle air control valve from carparts, installed it and it didn't work properly. That's when Paul D got involved, he had a new one shipped out overnight and I installed it and again it didn't work properly.
I doubted that both parts were defective and this application was not for my vehicle, Paul had me return both parts and made sure my refund was processed right away.
