If there's an issue with shipping, you discuss this with Fedex, Carparts.com has a "Not our problem..." approach. Can't recommend ordering through them, also hard to understand the service customer reps.
If I could give a negative review I would. They sent the wrong parts (two of the same side brake calipers), then they lost my coolant reservoir in shipment, now they won't give a refund for the two calipers that they sent in error and I sent back as soon as I received them! They admit they have received them back, but they just keep coming up with one excuse after another to not refund the money and hang up on me when I call about it. I have filed complaint with the BBB, my bank and now the Attorney General. The website clearly says 24-72 hours for returns, with a maximum timeframe of 5 business days---and it has been past that already. I don't know what else to do to get my money back. I don't know why they are so difficult and shady.

I ordered a fuel sensor/pump/sending unit for my Chevy Venture 2002. A mechanic put it in, but it never quite worked fine. It didnt seal up with the tank correctly, so fuel spilled when I filled it up. I took it to the mechanic back a few time, but he could not get it right. I got tired of dealing with it, and let it go, since the car was drivable. I just didnt fill it up completely. But this caused my check engine light to go on, due to fuel evaporative leak. Finallly I took it to another mechanic. He realized that carparts.com had sent me the wrong part. He checked the VIN, and saw that the actual part needed is different. So I had to spend double on mechanic to fix this issue, and buy another part. I tried getting a refund on the wrong part, but customer service refused, saying its past 90 days return policy.

I had returned two axles for the Case # *******: HD-*******/About my Order Number: *******
I had received the wrong hub assemblies and axles for my car. I was told they where a Guaranteed match for my vehicle and they where not. The mechanic went to put the axles and wheel barrings on my vehicle and they where not for my car. He purchased the wheel barrings from me because they matched a other vehicle he was fixing in his shop but the axles I sent back over a month ago. I called today after waiting a month an no refund and I was told the wherehouse did not get my parts back and I wasn't going to get a refund. I then asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to bry who than assisted me. He escalated the problem with the wherehouse and they are still saying I didn't return both parts but when you look at my shipping receipt it notes the weight of two products not just one. Bry took care of my refund and had it processed the day I called in even after the investigation was still saying rhwy couldn't find the other part he could clearly see the shipping weight was for two product not just one product. He was very helpful, spoke English, very responsive and helpful! The first woman pretty much told me there was nothing they could do even with my proof of return that I had. I'm very excited to have had bry help me out with this conflict and him take care of it in a timely manner!

What a nightmare! I would not recommend CarParts. My car needed rotors on both sides. They shipped one good part and the wrong part for the right side. Trying to exchange it was a long delayed process where I had to pay for shipping.

I ordered a driver when it came time for the return it was hassles all the way then they put somebody that can barely speak English I kept asking for a label which they deducted from the return you might want to try somebody else before you order a part from these people very upset on one more thing I couldn't put a review unless I gave him the start they don't deserve the one star I gave them

I ordered a coverlay dash cover from carparts.com. Shipping was fast, part arrived in good condition, but it was the wrong color. I emailed and asked to exchange it for the color, they stated that I needed to return it for a refund and then order a new one... not the easiest process for an exchange, but OK. I received an RMA and sent the item back the next week. I received notification that the item had been received and my refund would be processed in 5-7 days. Two weeks later, I had not received a refund, so I emailed that they stated that the was a discrepancy in the returned item weight and they had to verify with the warehouse the the item was complete (it was, I shipped it) Anyway, I finally got tired of waiting for the refund and ordered the right color cover (which arrived quickly and in good condition) and continued to wait for the refund. Every 4-5 days now I email and they of course immediately reply that they are waiting on the warhouse and that I should check back in 2 days... I have now been "checking back in 2 days" every 4-5 days for a month, and I still get the same answer. I even requested an escalation and a manger... same lame response, except this time with a pathetically childish "It can be incredibly frustrating when things don't go as smoothly as we would like." At this point, I think I am dealing with a dumb computer program and I have zero faith that I will ever get a refund and will never do business with carparts.com... and I buy LOTS of car parts. BEWARE!

I ordered parts for a total of 508 and then they charged me another 91 because it was coming from another warehouse. Won't refund me even though I didn't agree to this.

We apologize if this has caused you any inconvenience. To explain our process, the first or initial charge that you see in your account is the Pre-Authorization. This is not really an actual charge. The authorization is just a hold for the order amount. This is the usual bank practice for electronic transaction. The authorization allows us to verify your card information for security purposes. Pre-Auth will automatically fall off in 3-5 business days depending on your financial institution.
Also, once the parts are shipped out from the warehouse that is the time that you will see an actual charge on your account.

I ordered a wrong part and realized within a minute it was wrong so I emailed them asking to cancel my order. 3 days later they message back saying it's to late to cancel... now it costs nearly what I paid for it just to send it back for a refund so I have to try to find a buyer, never using them again.

Be very careful when you buy something from this outfit. They create a shipping label, tell you it is shipped but 3 days later FedEx has not picked it up. Look elsewhere for parts!

I've been using this site to fix up my partner's 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5, and this site has been nothing but help! Not only do they have (relatively) affordable parts and fast shipping, but also a great catalogue excellent customer service! I bought an exhaust and the bolts they gave me with it didn't fit to mount the exhaust, so I left a 4-star review on the item and Pol from CS reached out to me and refunded me part of the order and gave me a coupon code for future use! So I ordered a part it was supposed to be here on Thursday April 14th 2023 needless to say it hasn't been shipped yet they charged a lo int to ship it had to call talk to two people and now for my inconvenience they're going to ship a new part and I have to ship the other part back this is really bad business.As you see the part was suppose to be here last Thursday. As of Monday still no part. Just excuses.This is the second one that was suppose to be overnight as you see this was not the case with this place at all. I had a headlight that was smashed into pieces after someone vandalized my car. As usual, I jumped online and went straight to CarParts.com and ordered the replacement part at a great price and it was at my door within 3 days.
Upon installing the headlight I became aware that 1 of the 3 mounting pieces of plastic was broken off and an attachment point for the grill was smashed. I was able to use some glue to fix the smashed point for attacking the grill, allowing me to complete the install and am satisfied with the results. I did leave a comment on CarParts.com, mentioning the broken mounting part and the following day an customer advocate named Paul reached out to me to see how he could make things right. Seeing how I had already installed the part and am happy with the application as a whole, I wasn't interested in receiving a new part. Paul graciously extended some other options that I gladly accepted. TBH I was appreciative that anyone even reached out to me. So anything else was just awesome and I can't thank them enough!
I continue to be a happy customer and will refer others to them in the years to come.

This place advertised quick shipping. Then after you place your order they send an email saying shipping has been delayed. Another time they did the same thing then after nearly two weeks they sent an email saying they didn't even have the part. On that same order I had another part that they kept delaying shipping. When I called to cancel customer service kept hanging up on me every time I said I wanted to cancel. I spent over an hour on the phone getting hung up on then finally reached an honest human who cancelled my order

I ordered rear door handles for my 2021 Chevy Silverado. When I received the handles, the exterior looked identical to the original handles. I had them painted to match the truck. AFTER HAVING THEM PAINTED I BEGAN TO INSTALL THEM. I NOTICED A COUPLE OF DIFFERENCES ON THE INTERIOR PART OF THE HANDLE BUT THOUGHT IT WOULD FIT. Long STORY SHORT IT DIDN'T FIT. Working with Anthony C we discussed the problem and I felt as he did everything he could to eliminate the problem. He renewed my faith in ordering from you again. I ordered a window regulator from carparts.com for my Camry 2000. Somehow when the part arrived, It was little off and I only used the motor from the regulator. Then I contacted carparts.com and Paul from car parts sent me the right window regulator to replace that, because the part they sent me earlier was for Japanese manufactured Camry. I ordered a part (ignition cylinder) and they failed to put my apartment number on the invoice so I had to go down to FedEx to pick it up. I let them know this and they refunded my shipping expense.
Then the part turned out to be faulty so they offered to replace the part or send me a refund. Plus, for my trouble they sent me a discount code to be used on a future purchase.
