Terrible service
February 15, 2022

I have been on hold for over 10 hours in total. Every time I get to someone they either suspiciously get disconnected or transfer me to someone else. I have been on 6 previous cruises with Carnival but will never cruise with them again.

RESCHEDULE CRUISE
January 11, 2022

MY BOOKING NUMBER IS L86BB3. I PLANNED THIS FAMILY CRUISE BACK IN 2020 BEFORE THE COVID HIT. SO WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE. WE GOT OUR VACCINATIONS AND THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS OK. WHEN WE GOT TO THE PORT, WE COULDN'T GO BECAUSE MY SON WAS ONE DAY FROM BEING FULLY VACCINATED. I HONESTLY DIDN'T NO THAT. MY GRANDDAUGHTER SAW THE SHIP DOCTOR, AND WAS RETESTED, WITH RESULTS NEGATIVE. SHE WASN'T ALLOWED TO GO, CAUSING HER PARENTS HAVING TO NOT GO. IT WAS A FAMILY CRUISE. TO MANY FAMILY MEMBERS COULDN'T GO. MOST OF THE FAMILY NEVER BEEN ON A CRUISE. A LOT OF MONEY WAS SPENT THAT WE DIDN'T PLAN ON SPENDING. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. ALSO WE HAD A NEWLY WED COUPLE WITH US. THEY HAD BEEN MARRIED TWO DAYS. MY BROTHER WAS DURING THIS CRUISE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, HE DONT EVEN WANT TO GO BACK. HE LOST HIS WIFE, SO I WANTED HIM TO GET AWAY, SO I BOOKED HIM ON THE SAME CRUISE WITH ME. MAN THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES. EVERYONE GOT QUIET, AND KNEW THEY WERE VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED, AND IT WAS INCONVENIENT. I WOULD LIKE FOR US TO GET A FUTURE CRUISE CREDIT. SO WE CAN STILL TAKE OUR CRUISE. MAN I WALKED AWAY FEELING VERY INCONVENIENT AFTER ALL I WANTED TO DO THIS CRUISE BECAUSE IM 70 YEARS OLD, AND I WANTED TO START SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY. ONE NEVER KNOWS WHEN THE END MIGHT BE. LIFE IS SO UNPREDICTABLE FOR ALL OF US. WELL THERE'S MORE, BUT I'LL STOP THERE. THE REST IS UP TO YOU GUYS! THANKS FOR YOUR TIME! CONCERNED CUSTOMER!

Horrible
December 8, 2021

They decided to cancel my reservation! NO EMAILS- NO PHONE CALLS.
When my travel agent called to ask why, they could not come up with a reasonable explanation other than offer their apologies! Totally ruined our holidays/vacation!
What a mess!

Long review About very pour customer service. Does not want my business.

We have sailed on carnival many time over the years But will not any more.

Long story short first cruise we had to cancel do to covid not a big issue thought it might happen.

They promised us a credit for future cruise. Got ready to book cruise. Had two people in our party that did not feel safe with new Covid variant so wanted to cancel them off. Keep in mind port of new Orlando just had a ship that come in with 17 Covid cases.

So we call our represent Eve to make changes. She was not in so we talked to Ronnie. Though everything was taken care of. Was going to credit us back some money for future cruise all good.

Week if cruise we look at our reservation an they still have all of us book including the two we canceled. Called left voicemail for Ronnie he never called back called again left voicemail for Ronnie then got call back from Eve. Very very rude keep telling that Ronnie always follow thought with what he says an that we were laying.

Then tied to tell us we owe another $1600 for canceling the two off the cruise.

Will never go on carnival again. And anyone that talks to Ronnie better record there calls.

Very bad service guess another cruise line will get my future business

Best Cruise Ever!
November 23, 2021

I have a big family. 16 siblings to be exact. I was 14 when i went on my cruise and it was a blast. Of course we didn't take everyone in our family, on 2. It was just me my brother and my parents. When my family went on our cruise, it was amazing. The staff was supper friendly. I loved how they made animals out of the towels after they were done cleaning the room. It was funny. Not only was that great, but the food was amazing. I loved the burgers!. The icecream stand was soo good. However, i feel like the slides could have been better. But, it was still a blast. The excursions that we went on were super exciting. My fav was swimming with the dolphins. I also loved seeing on all the animals that they had. We got to hold a Monkey! It was super cute. When we went, we did the mexico cruise. I think. The roooms were really nice. We got one with a bunk bed and that was the nicest bunk bed i have ever f****** slept onn un my life. The entertainment shows were super cool. ALthough i was shy at the time, the conga line we did was amazing. Even if i didn't participate. It was still pretty cool. One of the nights we did a 90's party. That was fun. The director was really cool too. Idk what i would do without going on tht cruise. It was so good. Thanks for listening!

All I want to do is search for the cruise that my cousin booked. Without the pin and password, it seems impossible to select and search for your particular cruise. Simple questions, like what is included in the cheers package? How much does it costs? What is involved in the various on ship activities. There is no general search button, and returning to enter a new google query for each detail is crazy. Think "user friendly" and please improve the details available to potential buyers.

I purchased two cruise tickets and two excursions for my daughter and I leaving out of Galvaston, TX for a 5 day cruise. My daughter and I are both vaccinated but the other family we were going with had a child too young for vaccinating. We were all excited to go on the cruise and then last Tuesday, Oct 26th, 2021, I get a call from my friend stating all of our reservations were cancelled. I called to confirm this was the case as I had not received notification…after 20 minutes of waiting they confirmed it was cancelled. I asked about getting my refund and they stated they didn't know how long it would take but not to call back. 24 hours later I received the official cancellation notice. It has now been 8 days since they cancelled my trip and no refund. My bank has not been able to get in contact with anyone from Carnival. Do not waste your money. Find another cruise line.

Booked a 6 night, Ocean view to Jamaica, Mexico, and Cayman Islands. 3 weeks before sailing, Carnival changed the itinerary to 2 Carnival privately owned islands and the Dominican Republic! None of these were places I booked or even remotely cared to travel to! Carnival would not do anything to compensate after 2 days of conversing with them other than about a $200 discount to travel 80 miles from Miami at the farthest point! Not even any loyalty rewards for being my third time to book with them, NEVER AGAIN! CANCELLED!

HOSPICE
July 23, 2019

I was almost ready to go on my cruise to Cozumel and yucatan. When I got a text from my sister-in-law saying my brother was in the final stages of his cancer and the Dr. Said we needed to get there as soon as we could. Called Carnival to see if I could get a later date under these circumstances and was told that Yes they would put the 161.04 on another cruise for me and my sister. I paid 1213.04.and only getting 161.04. My brother is dying and he can go anytime. I wasn't asking for my money back just a later date.

I booked a Reservation on the sunshine cruise for March 2020. I canceled my reservation in April and the itinerary changed and May 2019. I called to get a refund of my $100 deposit and was told I am not able to get a refund. A good customer service would have given me my refund. This really makes me want to cruise with carnival in the future NOT! Although $100 is not a lot of money I will not book with carnival in the future. Royal Caribbean here I come. Hopefully carnival will do the right thing and refund me my money.

This last cruise was not Google. Didn't go to Freeport. It was raining bad. The food wasn't good. Same food. Change your menu. Onboard shops not good. We bought a drink charged us $39 with the glass. Really! Have me a birthday gift which expired the day I was leaving plus they choose what I should use it on. Really. I love the gunship but the last couple of times I bought friends after I told them how great y'all are but disappointed my last voyage with my friends. Ugh! Smh!

My brother died in December 2018 and l was traumatized and grieving his loss. My birthday was at the end of December and l needed a getaway. We flew to Orlando for 3 day cruise and got to the ship 5 minutes late because FRONTIER AIRLINES was hours late, we were advised by Carnival supervisor ANDREA that she would get us on, and customs was still standing and the ship was still there 1.30 hours later, but we were REFUSED ADMITTANCE. They were heartless, callous, cruel, no apathy was shown at all at the ship and their Poc Exec DELORES LONG, was Heartless as well & told us to stop writing. We spent $1,560 and World Travel and AON Protection sucks as well, we did NOT get a full reimbursement back. The Executive team has NO compassion even w documentation in their face. We were stranded, had to pay for a hotel, new flight, $120 for the shuttle just to turn back in 10 minutes, it was a NIGHTMARE, that l am still living.
We will NOT use the CARNIVAL CRUISE,
They want the money, but are not HUMANE.

In taking a Cruise for the 1st time as a Birthday trip for my best friend and myself in celebrating our February Birthdays, it is a nightmare. Supposed to depart 2/10/19 to 2/14/19 4 day Mexico Cruise. We missed check in time, due to misinformation on Carnival Imagination Representatives for Booking#6DZB54, and the Travel Agency that books and takes your money on behalf of Carnival Cruises not being in sync in time in which is cut off time in getting there. Which should not be my fault however; Itinerary still fails to state cut off time and although we arrived well by time Travel Agency gives of at least an hour before departure time, Carnival had a different cut time(you have NO idea they aren't on same page with this important piece of information) Carnival Cruise will not assist YOU, NOR REFUND YOUR MONEY! They are NOT willing to offer a solution, even when begging to have luggage checked in and we will meet ship at next port, was told NO, you missed check in YOU just have to buy another cruise if you want to sail?!? There were OTHER customers standing there obviously given same misinformation 8 other people is NOT a coincidence, it's a Customer Service problem in which Carnival Cruise doesn't care about resolving. It's awful that they are NOT caring or empathic to customers and are Rude, greedy and bad Company. Travel protection means NOTHING, they will not refund my money and after this experience I will stick to flying as potential cruise turned into heartbreaking sad experience.

Pathetic
December 9, 2018

One of the worst carnival ships i have ever been on, service was bad customer service was bad, food was so so, dinning room service was awful, had to wait on a table an average of an hr and a half in the your time dinning room, my room its self was ok except in the shower there was some mold in it on the ceiling, toilet quit working, had to get maintenance to come fix it.up on the lido deck it leaked in the buffett when it rained, the outside of the ship on the hull looked old and needed painting. This is the third carnival ship to have some mold in the shower, overall this ship is thoroughly outdate and in poor shape. Worst ship i have been on. Wasnt enough activities to do.

Robin calls lawsuit
November 29, 2018

Carnival, Royal Caribbean had made 100s of calls on my husband's cell number, he's had same # at least 14 yrs., Maybe longer but maybe 3 or 4 different carriers. The fact remains we filled out everything they asked, because millions respond to being constantly harrassed by robo calls, now lawsuit folks claim there were folks fraudulent? Idiots we are frauds! They made calls and you can't get pasted through without claim number? In other words, I placed my friend's numbers, mine and only one of my 30 something numbers were given claim numbers, my husband's and Janice Debnam. How dare they back out of due process, please help us retrieve what is due to William Hollins and Janice Debnam. I'll gladly provide you with claim numbers.

Bad ship
January 31, 2018

We went on the victory march 31- April 3. The ship was dirty! The food was terrible, the staff never asked if we need anything at the pool. My husband had to get our drinks every time... we went to play golf and there were dirty glasses that looked like they had been there for days. At captains night the table beside us were under dressed and were loud( using bad words). Th staff was also rude. We go on a lot of trips but by far this one was the worst. I hope that carnival would try to make us happy,

Disappointed!
September 8, 2017

To whom it may concern, my name is Randal Ayers and I booked a 3 day cruise to esenada on the imagination carnival cruises. Departing on 9/7/2017 at 5:30pm ad returning 9/10/20/2017 at 7:30am. Well on the the day we we're suppose to leave, we we're in formed by the boarding agent's supervisor, "Joseph Grimaldi", that my step-daughter who is 4months pregnant was denied and couldn't sail because of the zika virus/ liability policy that carnival cruise lines has acknowledged. So we we're unable to sail with them as a family, therefore i am asking for a refund/ reimbursement of the $2077. 00 dollars that I am out of because of the issues which I was not informed of nor aware when I booked this reservation through carnival cruises. I never registered with the carnival on line and I was never informed by the carnival booking agent Mr. Cameron Warrick *******902 ext. ******* Now my booking numbers we're for 2 cabins. Rm229 #8KT8Z3. And Rm233 #8KT9B8. The boarding agent supervisor, Mr. Joseph Grimaldi, informed me to contact the guest care department for refund, for the cost of my trip. If I was informed of the pregnancy policy and the zika virus in Mexico as well as filling out the online registration, I would of been prepared. But I was not aware of these issues nor was I informed at the time of making these booking reservation... I'm expecting a quick and resolving conclusion with this matter. Thank you so very much. Mr. Randal Ayers

I have been on 9 cruises, 7 of them were on Carnival. My most recent was on the Vista. We got an RV so it has been a while and as soon as we got on the ship I realized how much I missed it. The ship is beautiful, the food is amazing and the people are incredible. I've been on a romantic cruise with just me and my hubby, I've been on family a cruise with our two kids, and I've been on a cruise with a group of 88 people. No matter what kind of vacation, Carnival exceeded our expectations every time.
