No refund returned, CarJet is a scam!

On June 2nd 2023. I ordered a car in Tromso by CarJet, I paid with a debit cart and the money went away immediately, unfortunately we had to change our plans and the next day I canceled the order - in compliaence with their policy - CarJet makes possible to cancel within one hour prior to car lease without losing the deposit. I received an email with confirmation saying:
We have cancelled your booking CJT-******* and your Platinum Excess Waiver ******* as requested.
The refund will be done back onto the same card you used to pay. Please allow 3 or 4 days for the bank to process your refund. According to the conditions of your booking, the refund will be 155.37 €.

Now It is some 7 weeks later and and a lot of emails of exchange (needles to say that the response mostly is:

So far no refund has been rreturned to my account, they no longer answer my emails (their replies were only excuses and dodges anyway).

I rented a car thru Web, and when I came to collect the car, I found the car old and exhausted. After cancellation, they ignored all my messages

IN MALLORCA AIRPORT GOLDCAR requested me to pay 300€ to have the small car that I reserved on CARJET w/ 192€ per week!

CarJet / ACE / Go Iceland Keflavik Rental Cars charged 23 € more from VISA than was supposed to be in July 2023. Also the car was supposed to be Nissan Qashqai with Air Conditioning or similar according to same announcement. This did not happening neither, the car was Dacia with no Air Condition. I made a reclamation and demanded returning the overcharged VISA amount and a small refund of 50 € of missing Air Conditioning. They refused of both. What can I do from my home in Finland? At least avoid these firms in future.

They are big scammers, run away!

We did a booking through their website, we received the confirmation and in the next day we paid an Uber, lost our time to go to the Car Rental place to take our car, but they said that CarJet had canceled our reservation for no reason.
We got an Uber back to the hotel and tried to book again. I tried 3 times with my credit card, but the page didn't finished the purchase, I wasn't receiving any confirmation in my email and it was no charges in my card. I thought that it was a problem with my card and we tried with my boyfriend's card, that we also didn't receive the confirmation. We called Carjet in the next morning to know about the booking and after a long wait in the line and one hang up in our face they said that this last one went through.
Great, we got the car, everything went well.
When I come back from holidays and I look to my credit card, I have the unpleaseant surprise to discover that they charged me for the 3 trials that did in their website. I highlight that we didn't receive any confirmation e-mail and that we called in the following day to confirm about our booking and ask about the trials (that nobody told us that went through).
I tried to call them twice, but they refuse to give me the money back.
So that's how they get their money from their costumers, with your booking trials that seems to not work but indeed they do and they charge them all.
Get away from these scammers!

This is reference with my trip to Istanbul on 30.07.2023 and i have booked a car through them. It was peak season and car rental were quite high and this is where the game started.

I went to the GREEN MOTION RENT A CAR and they said my credit card doesnt work. The reason of all the lies was because they wanted to rent at high price to the walk in customers. The same credit i have used during all my 7 days on stay in Istanbul and it worked but how come it didnt work at the rental car company. Cherry on the top, carjet refused to refund me the amount as well. Avoid the CARJET.COM SCAM

Don't waste your money and time with them!
They will take your money but no service in return at all
They took all the booking money (700€) but i didn't get any car when I arrived to the car rental office
Also I didn't get any refund at all
No answer from customer service on phone or email in days
And if you get any answer it will be rude and disrespect to the client
Just don't deal with them at all!

They charge you a price and when you get to pick up your car, you find out they paid to the car rental company only a part of what you actually paid. So, you will be charged extra if you want to rent the same car that you chose in the beggining.

If i could give them lots of 0000 i would, bunch of thief's...i hired a car through them from company in pula airport Croatia called Vintax,another scammer...please avoid them too...
I returned the car same condition and they still kept my €1000 deposit, is been 40 days and ive sent them many emails and they said they will but no payment yet. Now will have to go through my credit card process to get the money back hopefully...

Carjet has been the intermediary with Klass wagen car rental company. Initially I rent a car 184 euros for 7 days. Great price, free transport from airport to rent office. Sounds good and a lot of project during my short period of holidays.

Arrived at rental office, I discover they want to lock 2500 euros (!) from my credit card as deposit. As my credit card is not able to accept such amount, alternative is to pay 400 euros extra to rent the car. I know only one word for that: RACKET. My projects are over and i take the bus. Klass wagen did accept to cancel the reservation but not carjet wich is the great winner of that business. They argue it was listed on the contract. This is actually a tiny little line on 3 pages of contract, sent at midnight before my travel.

The company does not have a clear cancellation policy. I had a prepaid booking. Paid and got a confirmation email in which I saw that I definitely needed a credit card to pick up a car. So I decided to cancel the booking. There is a special button on the cancellation page for this reason. However, the company refused to make a refund. I have only debit card with me right now, and there is nothing on their website that I need a credit card BEFORE making a payment. Rented in many places with just debit with no problem. My advice - stay away from this company. Their rating is 1. You can easily google the reviews. Booking CJT-*******.

Rented a sedan car for 12 days and paid for in advance. CarJet does not own a fleet but get local renters with cheap and hazardous cars. When I picked up the car they asked for additional insurance, despite I already bought a fully comprehensive and paid for while renting from CarJet. Their local renter SurPrice at Dalaman Airport charged over $700 as a deposit (supposed to be blocking but fully charged). Also charged for age (65+) while Carjet did not mention at the time of renting the car. The lousy local SurPrice gave a car with 102,000+ on the clock and front bold tires. Awful local renter, awful car, misleading and greedy CarJet. Avoid CarJet and SurPrice at any cost even they offer you a free rental!

If I could give 0 stars I would. AVOID them at all cost, pay a little mor for peace of mind. Our flight arrived 2 hrs late in Crete and our car was no longer available and they refused to refund us. A real joke. Then our 2nd rental with the in Athens, we were given an old car with 181,000kms, no Ac, no sun visor. They always say they're not responsible as they deal with third party rentals agencies and they say the same.

The worst exerience ever. I do not recommend car jet to anyone. I did not receive the car which I ordered (different model differen price does not matter at that time). When I arrived for the car and realized the issue I have contacted them to help me because there was also issue with credit card payment. The help desk hang down the phone with no interest and we have to book additionaly another car which was two time expensive. Never ever car jet! I wrote them and their responses are extremly slow. Be carful and pay rather more directly to another company. Neither the insurance does not help. Car company informed us that it is usual problem and car jet can solve the issue but it seems that car jet does not care about clients.

Scammers. Asked for a refund because the rental company canceled my reservation. No notifications arrived. I was stranded at the airport. I requested a refund and they disappeared. Their only contact is a Spanish phone number that hangs up as soon as you explain the problem. Scammers

We suppose that we paid them for the car safety but when we went to pick up the car they told us that the safety has no value!

Rented a car for my trip in Turkey, they sold me insurance and when I was collecting the the third party who owned the car told me that the insurance that I bought from carjet is not valid and rhat I have to pay for insurance Again.
When I came back from my trip I noticed that I was charged twice. I tried to contact the third party car rental but they wouldn't answer my calls.
I called Carjet and told them that I was charged 2 times and emailed them my credit card statement. It's 2 moths now and I still haven't received my €1000 that I was charged extra.

I rented a car through them today and paid everything including the full covered insurance and i arrive at the company and have to pay the insurance again. I call them because the company told me to call them for a refund they answer the phone but get a rude person on the line saying it's my problem and they won't do anything for me. They do not communicate with the rented company. Never do a full incurense with them do it with the company it self
