We reserved the car and on the website there is no indication that the first driver must be the credit card holder. This is shown later after the payment when you print out the voucher.
Company refused to change the first driver and also refused to cancel the reservation and insisted that they will charge us for the car.
Employee at the phone was also very rude.
Never again! We planned a day trip with our parents and never received the car. They have ruined our day!

Arrived at Madeira airport - Waited 90 minutes - no representative, no car. Had to get a taxi to the hotel and book with another rental company. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY.

Stay away from Carjet! Their website contains misinformation! Their acts are against EU consumer laws! I will definitely fill in a complaint form in EU level to protect my rights!

Rent a car with CarJet during holiday in Chania, Krete and paid online upfront for Peugeot 308 or similar. Car I got when arrived on site (local company was Abby Car) was Suzuki Baleno (after a huge argument as primarly they were offering Nissan Micra!). Difference in price for these two cars on CarJet page is ~220EUR for 7 day rental. I raised complain on CarJet webpage, but for two weeks I have not received ANY response despite my follow up emails. When called the support line I heard these are the cars from same segment and they won't do anything about this! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I cancelled a reservation within "free" (absolutely not true) termination timeframe and was sent an email that a refund of only €150 would be given in 3 to 4 days. That was over a month ago and no refund. I have sent 3 requests through their website for a status of this refund and none have been responded to. This company has no integrity.

My Partner and I rented a car for our Krete Holiday using Car Jet. Our flight was delayed but having frequently rented cars and picked them up with some delay without problems we were not concerned. We arrived a couple of hours late, yet still during office hours. The local car company told us, since we were more than an hour late the reservation had been cancelled without a refund and they will not be able to do anything about it. We called the Car Jet support hotline and had a horrible experience. They confirmed the reservation was cancelled without refund (for our 8! Day stay) and there is nothing they will do for us. When i asked for the manager the manager was conveniently "not in today". They basically stole the money for 8 days of rental. Its a total scam! Dont use this platform to book your rental car.

We arrived in Greece end of July, and our flight had a delay because of a thunderstorm. We arrived there only to find out that our car was cancelled. The local car vendor told as to call CarJet and ask them for help. We called CarJet, and they told us that our money is with the local vendor, and they can't do anything about it. Spoke to the local vendor again - these guys claimed they received nothing. CarJet customer support basically told us that they can't offer any other car (even though ours must have been right there in the parking lot), and that they have no money to refund us. Absolutely horrible experience from a predatoy company that couldn't care less about its customers. Never again.

No phone number to contact. DO NOT USE THEM. Waste of time. Use any rental companies directly. If you have any issue with the booking they will NOT refund the money.

Promised you don't need a credit card so we paid online as I have only debit BUT they sent an email saying I need it, when I called them they said I can get refunded only 11€. What kind of joke is it?

They ask for a $1000 surety only after you've made the online payment.And if you try to cancel the rental booking they make all sorts of excuses to not refund you. Stay well clear of this one

Paid for 1 week rental car, when we arrived at airport no car at all: the guy at the office told us "Sorry we don't have it", so had to spend 4 times the price somewhere else, because of CarJet.com. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! / Pagamos por una semana de alquiler, cuando llegamos a la oficina el empleado nos dijo "Lo siento no tenemos coches". Tuve que pagar 4 veces mas en otro sitio, por culpa de CarJet.com. ¡VACACIONES ARRUINADAS, EVITAR!.

Unfortunately, I rented a car from Carjet for our 4 day stay in Malta. Then all our trouble begun: I phoned and they guy some abby company came and explain that the car paid (Opel Corsa) or similar does not have trunk (its back door couldn't open) and we can only use it if we put our luggage (4 regular cases), to lay down back seat bench and push luggage back. As I have two children and where shall they sit safely if seats were not in place and so did not agree with this solution. I went with this guy to their office and there were three car still available. One another Opel Corsa same problem, not possible to open back door, and two small cars totally $#*!xx up, everything broken, but somehow back doors were opening. You got the point of the scam. As I was already whole hour late to pick up the apartment and my family staying at airport I accepted this C1 car, with promises to be replaced next day.
Next day the Car jet / abby was not available anymore, SMS, call nothing, ghosting. What a scam, I was such an idiot. And so much stress. The C1 was half broken, damaged all around and left mirror was only holding by a small tape all photos are available. The car was so used (already felt the scam of return about the sctaches), tires totally worn down.I was really idiot to accept that car, but in a time and place with family still waiting at the airport and some promise to get what we booked. Well Carjet is offering you a lifetime experience of total rip off. But what happened at car return was a total horror film and I don't want to describe it here until all legal things are not settled.

I've made a reservation for a car, paid 38$ to book it upfront. The reservation email didn't arrive, money not paid back, never got the car!
RUN far away from this car($#*!)jet

These guys left us without car at the Tangier's airport, at midnight and with small children. Then refused to return our money. Highly unreliable!
We were two families with children traveling to Morocco. We had a reservation of 2 mid-sized cars; we made the advance payment and we got several confirmation mails. At the airport there was only one car and it was Hundai I10 - we wouldn't be able to fit into it with the children and all the luggage.
I was writing mails to CarJet for months wanting them to return our money. The only answer was that they need more time to clarify the case. They are clarifying it for 4 months up to now. So they actually refused to return the money, without saying anything.

Son unos autenticos estafadores. En un simple alquiler de 7 dias en Turquia, he tenido 3 intentos de estafa por parte de la subcontrata. Las quejas a Carjet caen en saco roto. Claramente son conocedores de que su subcontrata es un autentico fraude, pero no parece importarle. Probablemente sean simplemente socios en la estafa y se repartan los beneficios.
Los problemas empiezan al llegar al aeropuerto de Dalaman, en Turquia.
Mi coche era para recoger a las 3.00 a.m y la misma hora para entrega 6 dias mas tarde.
Las instrucciones eran claras;
"Un representante de SURPRICE RENT A CAR le estará esperando en las puertas de llegada del Aeropuerto Internacional de Dalaman con su nombre en una pizarra para llevarle hasta su vehículo, que estará estacionado cerca del aeropuerto."
A las 02,15 estabamos fuera y esperamos hasta las 03,30 y nadie aparecia.
Despues de llamar varias veces, nos llego un whatsapp con indicaciones para ir a recoger. Ya eran las 04,15. Despues de un largo viaje, mal empezabamos.
Al llegar, primer intento de estafa: 40 Euros por recoger y entregar fuera de horario ( El horario estaba claramente tipificado en el momento del pago).
Tarjeta de credito para deposito de 511 Euros, ya que teniamos seguro a todo riesgo con franquicia.
Despues de cobrar sigue la tension con el trabajador.
Ya llegando caliente y ante todo esto, le digo al trabajador, que aparte de poco eficiente, me parecia un ladron.
Entonces llega el segundo intento de estafa:
Me dice que no me da el coche y que me va a hacer el reembolso de los pagos. Le digo que no hay problema, siempre que me reembolsa tanto los cargos que me habia hecho por recogida, el deposito y el pago original del vehiculo, a lo que responde que el solo puede reembolsar los cobros que me hizo alli.
Esto es para que no lleves el coche, pero quedarse con el importe de alquiler, ya que no te lo van a devolver si no recoges el coche. Leyendo por internet parece que es una practica que hacen habitualmente. Ya sea porque no encuentras donde estan, o por un motivo como este, te vas sin coche perdiendo el dinero originalmente pagado de alquiler.

Me niego. Le digo que me entregue el coche y de malas maneras accede.
Recogemos el coche. Las vacaciones empezando mal. Preocupacion por el coche porque sabemos que nos van a buscar cualquier problema en la entrega.
El dia de devolver el coche, salimos de Marmaris. Comprobamos que el coche no tiene absolutamente nada antes de salir.
Recorremos los 90 kilometros sin bajar del coche.
Llegamos al aeropuerto y la misma persona esta alli.
Antes de que bajaramos del coche, mientras nos asegurabamos de no dejar nada dentro, esta persona da una vuelta al coche rapido como comprobando, no dice nada y se separa varios metros del coche, esperando a que prepararamos las maletas y reiraramos todo del coche.
Cuando acabamos, siendo de noche y con una luz amarilla muy tenue, encontramos un rayazo en la defensa trasera. El rayazo era innegable. A pesar de que parecia imposible, ya que no estaba en Marmaris, alli habia un pequeno rayazo de unos 5 cm.
Podria ser unicamente una piedra lanzada de otro coche durante esos 90 kilometros o algo asi, ya que estabamos segurisimos que no estaba a nuestra salida de Marmaris 90 kilometros antes.
Muy amablemente, el hombre sintiendose ganador, nos dice que no nos preocupemos, que era muy poca cosa. El 21 dias hbria una valoracion y me informarian de el costo y me devolverian el porcentaje de deposito.
Con el vuelo a solo 2 horas y las prisas, sacamos unas cuantas fotos del rayazo y vamos a coger nuestro vuelo.
La sorpresa viene despues, cuando revisamos en el avion las fotos que habiamos hecho. La calidad de las fotos en moviles ahora es buena y permiten agrandar sin perder calidad. Descubrimos con toda certeza, que el trabajador de Surprice, la subcontrata de Carjet, nos habia hecho ese minimo rayazo con una llave. Lo siguiente, lo esperado:
Contacto con Carjet muy dificil y cuando lo consigues, te atienden, pero nunca hay contestacion. El deposito despues de 15 dias pasa de retenido a liquidado, sin ningun tipo de contacto por parte de nadie. Estafa de la totalidad del deposito, por un rayazo que han hecho ellos mismos. Unos profesionales del timo. El rayazo lo hace en esa primera vuelta rapida, lo hace en el sitio donde yo, estando dentro del coche, es imposible que lo vea. ( Si salgo tengo su espalda).
Las fotos no dejan lugar a dudas. El rayazo se produce con un objeto punzante y con presion ( Una llave). Las esquirlas de pintura aun estan ahi.
El estafador se llama Mehmet, por el whatsapp recibido en el momento de la entrega del coche. Subo foto de su perfil.
Arreglo por las buenas imposible. Retenes el pago por parte del banco inposible. A pesar de ser solo un "deposito" y un pago retenido, el banco ya no puede hacer nada. Por otra parte no hay delito hasta que no liquidan el cobro, por lo que nada que hacer con el banco hasta que liquidan. Carjet parece complice y colaborador necesario en la estafa.
Se ha preparado denuncia y una pericial del rayazo.
Os comentare como acaba todo, pero ESCAPAR DE CARJET.COM y de SURPRICE, su subcontrata al menos en Dalaman airport en Turquia.
Son unos ESTAFADORES PROFESIONALES.

Just Run Away! Absolutely disgraceful, rented a car and paid for 1 week in Malta, arrived there and the man at the office told us they had no more cars left, only a BMW for 6 times the original price paid, NO CAR! He also said that happens often with Carjet. They have not refunded us yet either!, I'll see them in court. Just avoid.

It is almost 2 month and turkish partner of carjet.com in istanbul did not refund 300 euros and they promised to refund in 25 days. I called several phone numbers and send text messages bit no response. I gave their phone number to my friend in istanbul and one guy picked up the phone and did not answer to question and hang up. Please don't leave deposit in Turkey. Even I reported to Istanbul airport authority and they did not fix problem and just answered general. Carjet.com is not authorized to do business in Istanbul airport, plus their turkish partners. Please rent car from authorized rental car companies directly at Istanbul airport. Don't listen other companies that works outside of airport. Most outsiders are cheaters and contracts are illigal. One campany signs contract and completely different company charges from your credit card. Please be aware. Thanks
