Paid 220 for door panels that the customer service employee said Guranteed in stock. Delivery by 7 days. Well 8 days later I am told it will be 3 more weeks. Then after 3 weeks I am told another 2-3 weeks. Then I wait on hold for 20 minutes, ask for a refund and they put me on hold again. Called for hours and still never got my order and have not got my money back yet. Scam company
I ordered a set of rims that they supposedly had in stock 4 weeks later still no rims - and they kept stringing me along - luckily I did not get the rims because later I found out the rims they were trying to sell me were actually for a different car and if I would have put them on I would of had a vibration. - I will never order anything form them ever again
Ordered some fog lights. They shipped wrong Qty. Argued with me that's what was shipped. Next I ask for refund do they gave me the run around unprofessional to the max. Supervisor never gets v back to you. He did once and said he was busy. Every other customer rep didn't read the emails back in forth and kept starting me from scratch. I hate this place. They are liars and should be closed down. Rip off. Also did I mention. The product didn't fit the description at all. So they told me after oh I'm sorry it says that we are currently making changes to our website.

The Magnaflow mufflers that I purchased from CarID looked nothing like the one pictured. The mufflers I received were quite ugly actually. Tack welds & scuffs marks all over the muffler housing. No brushed surface as pictured. Also there was no Magnaflow stamp. The mechanic at the shop told me that the Mufflers were not real Magnaflows. Another mechanic who had the opportunity to look at them as well at a different shop said the same thing. The measurements and specifications of size for the muffler where fine.
There was a MagnaFlow warranty as well as stickers in each box.
So there was no question that they were intended to be MagnaFlow.
I eventually ended up ordering them from MagnaFlow directly. I was informed by the representative that all MagnaFlow products are clearly Stamp & sold in Magnaflow branded boxing.

Okay, so at first I had heard good things about CarID, things like "they have parts for you truck that you won't be able to find anywhere else" so naturally I take a look. Indeed I did find tailights for my 1994 F-150 that I hadn't noticed on any other site. I immediately pull out my card and purchase them, but I noticed on the page that it said I wouldn't receive them until May (I ordered in February) time goes by and may comes around. I E-Mailed CarID and received a notification saying that my lights would ship out on the 1st of June, not a big deal since I am a patient person. June 1st comes around and I get another E-Mail saying that the shipping date had been pushed back until the 7th, still not a big deal. Well today, the 9th of June, I get a phone call from Ivan, saying that the shipping date had been pushed back to MID JULY. YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT I HAVE TO WAIT NEARLY HALF A YEAR TO RECIEVE SOME TAIL LIGHTS?! IVE ORDERED RIMS AND TIRES AND GOTTEN THEM WITHIN A MONTH. Long story short, if you appreciate your sanity, don't order from CarID. They have led me around the block for months now. Whenever/ If I ever receive my lights, I will update this post regarding the quality of the lights. And they better be pretty dam perfect if I have to wait 5 months, VERY UPSET WITH CARID

All of their promo codes offer discounts of various amounts, but when you click on them they bring up non-related items. This happened on every link I found. And then I called customer service and they pretended to be shocked, telling me to send them the links. Turns out they were links from their Facebook page. Customer service rep had nothing to say then.
Total scammers. I am glad I checked here to see I am not alone in my thoughts about this company.

First off, since Carid is only now starting to respond to the passel of negative reviews, the least they could do is fully read the complaint. This has nothing to do with a "Gift Certificate", it is the FALSE PROMO CODES that you sprinkle the Internet with, in order to entice people to purchase from you. And the offer of honoring the *promo code* is also just more rhetoric, since I initially tried that with a call to customer service. I was told the lousy 7% off could not be honored, but after being on hold for five minutes you would do 5% this one time. But of course there is now a shipping charge (which just happens to come to more than the 5% off). Well, that's when I said, 'thanks, but no thanks!' I am so glad I did, because I would have just gone through even more grief if I had placed the order, just as numerous others did that made the mistake of ordering from such a sham company. Time to wake up Carid; social media and sites like this make it impossible to keep your attempts at swindling consumers a secret any longer!

Ad states there will be MINOR imperfections in spoiler. Took out of box and really poor mold quality. Will take hours of work to be able to put a coat of paint on it. Talked to Car ID who pretty much told me to get lost.

Ordered rims almost two months ago and they still have not shipped. However, i have ordered smaller things from them (tail lights, seat covers, mud flaps) and they shipped within a week. I would not recommend buying rims here unless you don't mind waiting for months.
These people should be under investigation. They are showing a lower price than anyone else telling you that it is in stock, taking your money, then stringing you along telling you that it is on backorder, then come along and say that it is not manufactured anymore and send your money back. Just think of the money this place is making just by holding your money for you.

I've ordered from them a few times never had any problem. Mind u it was small items. I ordered a pair of side steps for my f150, got so excited paid 80$ for them to be installed until one of the guys from truck toys pointed out not just scratches but what appears to be hammer dents in my side steps. So they took them off so I could return them.
I called that day to exchange them. Antonio told me I should keep my original side steps until he knew what the manufacturer wanted to do with them. So I said okay when will I get my other side steps. He told me by Wednesday (we talked on Friday)
Tuesday comes around and ups shows up at my door I get all excited because I have another apt to put the side steps back on for another 80$. When I went to greet my usual ups man he tells me he is picking up a package. Me being confused called car I'd to find out that I was suppose to have my side steps ready and that they would ship me my new ones when they received my damaged ones. After arguing with Clint a "manager " aka just another useless employee, I made him listen to me and Antonios conversation. He then calls me back to let me know that Antonio never said when I would get them but did not advice me to do anything with the side steps. So he is going to send me my new ones immediately. Why because Antonio said they would be here! They fing lied to my face saying I never asked when they would be here. This morning I get an email saying my side steps won't even ship till July 6th it's may 25th! I just graduated college and I'm going to law school I won't be here in July so I had to call again idk this being atleast the third fing time. After talking to Another man they decided to switch out my part for another similar brand. So I assumed everything was taken care of until I got another email saying my order has yet to be placed. So I call again for the 4th fing time to find out it was just an automatic email. COOL GLAD I HAD TO WAIT 20 MIN FOR U TO TELL ME THAT.
Worst service ever!
Ordered some car parts from them and they shipped in damaged. I partially installed a few of the parts before I realized unpacking the rest that some of it was damaged. Before removing from the box I took pictures of the damage(I also took pictures of the box when it arrived which was in pretty bad shape). CARiD was not willing to replace the damaged part. Instead they wanted me to accept a $20 gift card. The part cost me $80.00 dollars to repair. My response to them was as follows:
I was already told that the maximum you can offer is $20... Funny how your line about customer service is really equal to 2% of my spend with you guys on this order. I think your tag at the bottom of the emails should be extended to say "CARiD focuses on the best customer service as long as it doesnt cost us more than $20.00.

CarId is run very poorly. They are not honest about items being in stock and they mislead you on shipping times. The customer service reps are mostly kids that are trained to lie to you. Never order from this company.
I have been through hell and back dealing with this Carid AKA onyx company customer servive. Order a Gear rim with silver letting, i spoke to product specialist name mike said we have and told him about the other rom it had to match. He said no problem week later rim arrived with black letterings try to get silver they said manufacturer discontinued it BS. I saw it on other sites. I also bought the weathertec floor liners only sent the rear ones, i called the dumb $#*! customer service and they said it was shipped. Still waiting like an idiot. Call my credit card. I also file a complaint with BBB it goes no where because they paid the government off in taxes. I SHOULD'VE READ ALL THE NEGATIVES REVIEWS AGAINT THEM. My bad. I will never buy cral from them. I ordered a jack from EXTREMETERRAIN.COM and it was missing a bolt and a part was scratch in shipping immediately they sent me a replace part. Great customer service...
