I paid $144 for a car cover and the 10% off code was never applied. There was NO box to enter the discount code. "Justin" on the chat told me the box was there (when it wasn't) and that he would refund me the difference ($15) to my PayPal account which he did.

Then I tried to create an account so I could sign in to see and track my recent order and history but it never worked I tried over 20 times! Again "Justin" in chat told me to try at a later time. I tried the next day nothing worked, I tried 2 days later nothing worked. Another chat message from him saying the ability to create an account was not available and it would be fixed in 2 weeks. WTF!?

A week after my order arrived I was able to create an account and sign in but my order wasn't there! It said "no orders". "Justin" on chat said it only works for future orders. Seriously!?

The car cover is so heavy and monstrous it took me 10 minutes just to get it out of the box! Their website says it takes 40 seconds to put on! What a joke! Emailing them is a nightmare too. You'll be lucky if you get a response back in 3 days.

When you get your order there's no invoice or packaging slip inside there's no return label, nothing. The return shipping lies solely on the responsibility of the customer even though the website says "FREE SHIPPING" "FREE RETURNS"

Also the return address is in CANADA! WTF!? The item was shipped from SCS SPORTS in Cerritos, CA what's up with that!? So shady! Now I have to pay $45 to ship it back or only get a partial refund. Disputing the charge on PayPal now and opening up a claim. DON'T USE THEM!

Found this site on google and it's now my go-to place for all car covers. Prices are decent as well. Would buy from them again

I went online to buy a cover for my Sons 1956 Chevrolet truck for Christmas, looked at all the policies warranty (life time) and return - opened chat asked 3 or 4 times will this cover fit this truck they replied yes to all my questions and concerns - Cover arrived didn't fit what so ever looks like a mid size 4 door short bed the seams dont line up and would have to stretch it or possibly tear it trying to put it completely on - Have been going back and forth with emails there refusing to refund! My receipt clearly shows purchased for 1956 Chevrolet truck - They said I can keep it and they will charge half or I can pay for shipping from So Cal to Canada - No where does it say in the policies that buyer pays
Return shipping or I wouldn't have purchased from them and went some where else
DONT BUY FROM CAR AUTO COVERS! THEY'RE A SCAM RIP OFF! THEY GET YOU TO BUY SEND WRONG PRODUCT AND BET YOU DO NOTHING OR CANT DO NOTHING ABOUT IT! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR SHOP ELSE WHERE!

The picture you see is the first cover I received. Not exactly the "custom fit" I was looking for. I also experienced the frustration of the infamous "e-mail Customer Service". After over 8 weeks of going back and forth, sometimes with gaps of 2 weeks without a reply, I finally decided to contact them by phone. This is when I got results. I sent the pictures you see as they requested and received my replacement within 10 days. Although the replacement is not a perfect fit, I'm happy with it. They even allowed me to keep the old one.(don't know what I'm going to do with it), but in the end I believe they stepped up and took care of the problem. You will have make up your own mind as to whether you do business with CarAutoCovers or not.
I will up date this in 6 months as the cover will live outside in the Texas weather.

Their ad for a 1930s Chevy pick up cover shows a photo of a very contoured cover. It's the exact shape of an old pick up, BUT, when you order that cover you will get one that is not at all like what's in the ad. Yup, complain all you want... they don't give their names on emails and will tell you that the cover you got is the right one. They will not explain why your cover looks like a bubble and the one in the ad looks like a pick up is under it. False advertising! Big problem to return it, but when you do get an "RMA", which usually means they pay the return shipping... NOPE... YOU pay the shipping. You have been warned.

I purchased a car cover for carautocovers.com and it didn't fit my vehicle. The cover doesn't cover the bottom 6" of the front or the back of the vehicle. I contacted support and sent pictures hoping to exchange the cover for one that fit my vehicle better. After a few days I got a response saying "the cover does fit the car" and "it is not a custom fit cover". I then asked for an RMA to return the cover and haven't heard back. Now they aren't responding to my emails. Carautocovers.com is definitely not worth the brain damage

I've had 2 covers from them, both deteriorated in 1-2 years. The first was $100. For the replacement, I upgraded to their best cover so I paid an additional fee plus a $20 shipping fee. This time their "best cover" didn't last a year before deteriorating (the cover leaves salt-like particles all over car) and they wanted a $30 shipping fee. There is nothing about a shipping fee in their warranty policy for a replacement and, in fact, they display 'Free Shipping' in large print on their website. When I called and talked to a manager, he was very arrogant. He kept talking about how he couldn't pay $30 shipping charge for $250 cover replacement... as I said the cover cost me $150 not $250. By the way, the covers are NOT waterproof at all. You can find a better cover and a better company to deal with.
