I wrote a REVIEW a while back "SCAMMERS LIARS THIEVES." Being a business owner for many years I had had enough of this "company's" so-called "customer service". Rude, unprofessional. IN BUSINESS, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING! It wasn't until I YELLED very LOUDLY over the phone that I was contacting the local news in Tulsa, Oklahoma, of which I did, when the replacement car cover was finally delivered to my home in a few days. I stand behind my REVIEW... I was scammed, they lied continually, and I was told I WOULD NEVER GET MY MONEY BACK! Oh, and the car cover isn't worth $300,00 nor the discounted price. All I have to say is RUN because IT DOESN'T GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS!

Thank you SiteJabber! Due my consumer review on SiteJabber, I was contacted by Patrick C. Pertaining my $144.99 I paid for a car cover I had ordered on May 17,2015. He requested that I give the company a "five star" rating because they were being "fair" in refunding my money, OVER A YEAR LATER. I will never give car auto covers a "five star" rating. My money should have been refunded the moment I requested it not because of a review I wrote pertaining "my" experience with the company. Thank you SiteJabber!

50% off is bogus for quality of item. Top of the line is NOT a $300. Car cover... Advertise Mirror pockets and the cover DOES NOT HAVE MIRROR POCKETS ---and thats the $144.95 top end cover... They are quick to respond to your call of a problem but do nothing to follow up. Purchased cover in January 2015 for a new model car... was shipped the wrong size(too small to cover car) and asked for a return. Was given a $20 discount to keep cover until March when they would ship the new cover in the correct size. I was told keep the old cover and when the new correct size cover was available in March they would ship me at no additional charge... Fair enough? Yes but come March and after several phone calls promising me they would send the correct size-----no car cover... Finally with the phone call on MAY 15th, I was told they would ship the correct size AND THEY DID-----and it FITS but No Mirror pockets... So if you have the time (4 months) and are content with getting finally the product NOT AS ADVERTISED... go ahead an buy from them... but If you're smart--- buy from someone else.

This is the 2nd classic car cover I have bought from then and have been very please this the ease of ordering and the quality of the product. Good company and Quality car covers.

Red Flag #1, "50% OFF SALE, limited time", these scam artists have their 50% off sale on an ongoing basis.

Red Flag #2, "Sale ends@ midnight", but the sale never ends. They now changed the wording to "Sale ends soon".

I ignored these potential red flags and ordered two Chevrolet Corvette car covers (for different model years) which are advertised "With mirror pockets". This was a big purchasing factor for me as I was looking for that feature.

Order confirmation showed a different part number for each Vette cover. So far all looks good.

Car covers arrive and first thing I noticed is the lack of any identification to which cover fits which Vette. Upon further inspection I discover that both covers have the SAME Part# sewn into the cover seam. So much for the claim that they are vehicle specific. I really don't care about that if they fit right.

As I take a closer look at the covers I realize they DO NOT have the mirror pockets that where advertised. So I call customer service to find out what gives. The CS rep tells me that these have mirror pockets on them and I need to go check again and call him back if they don't. This appears to be "run-around tactic" #1.
I re-inspect the covers and there are NO "Mirror pockets on them. I call the CS rep back and he tells me to just put the covers on the car for a while, they will fit fine and I will like them. If I don't like them after they have been on for some time, just call him back. This clearly appears to be "run-around tactic" #2. With other words he wants me to keep the covers past the "30 day hassle free returns" period which is anything but "hassle free".

I never got to find out what "run-around tactics" #3,4 and 5 look like because the covers fit close enough and the owner of the Vettes was OK with the covers.

The chumps running CarAutoCovers.com are unethical, make misleading and false statements (lie) on their website, give you the run-a-round when you have an issue (and you probably will) and try to talk you into keeping the cover for more then 30 days so they can get you past that "30 day hassle free returns" period.

Stay away from them, they do not deserve your business.

I purchased a car cover in January the best on their site. When I received the cover it was way to big for the car. I contacted the company Firstly, the covers do NOT fit their description. They are not a custom fit, The quality is by far the 5 layer protection as the website describes. It is a thin piece of fabric that probably provides minimal protection. In fact after a rain my car was completely saturated. The customer service is horrible in fact as I was talking to someone on the phone it sounded like he was having a party loud singing and laughter I could hardly here him. I did not get the lockdown and when I told him that the car cover didn't fit, and could they have sent me the wrong one by mistake he was very rude stating he sent the right one. As I was trying to explain how it was fitting my car he kept saying it was the right one and I will send the lock down and then hung up! I ordered the top of the line car cover and believe me if this is top of the line I would hate to see the other lower price car covers. How does the company stay in business? I contacted the company again to see if they would make this right. I asked the person I was speaking to why the people that worked there were so rude, he told me he didn't care and that I could report them because they were doing nothing wrong and he also hung up. Are you kidding me! I even sent pictures showing them how big the car cover was. They sent a reply saying that the cover was in great condition and to think carefully before asking for a replacement as I could only receive one replacement on this order. So then I receive another email asking me what I would like them to do! I had already talked to someone called Patrick he offered me a 10% coupon on another item. I told him no way, then he offered me a 20% coupon and then he said he would replace the car cover and told me it would be a perfect fit. Then he said I could go on the BBB and give them a good rating. How does this company stay in business.

We bought the best cover with lifetime warranty and 3 months later disintegrated, they said there was a 1 time replacement free and they will send it to us so I told them to go ahead and send it, then they answer that we have to paid $80, we responded that we have a lifetime warranty. Well the other person said that it will cost more to sue them but in my case I work for a law firm for 25 yrs and we will sue them, I know for a fact that they can't win and will have to pay for our regular fees plus + court cost and the refund of the cover.
Also we "WILL" file complains everywhere including the BBB where they already have an "F" rating. It's not the money but the principal.
I will let all of you know the outcome of this. In the mean time don't buy from them their covers are garbage and you may not have access to legal help like we do.

Stay away from this ripoff business. I bought their best outdoor cover that was rated for "life". Within 3 months the cover turned to dust. I was immediately authorized a replacement after I sent pictures, 5 months ago! Since then all I ever hear (and I only hear from them after filing BBB and state consumer complaints) is that the cover is "out of stock", or "will be shipped this week", or "will be shipped tomorrow", but no cover, no refund, no nothing. While their cover may last when used in a protected garage, it is worthless for outside use. Check the BBB sites for ratings before you buy, and you will see what I mean., If you order, kiss your money goodbye.
