JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS CE GARAGE.
J'ai eu un très mauvais service suite à mon changement d'huile dans la succursale Laval Vimont ( Mega Centre) à l'adresse: 4975, boul. Robert-Bourassa Laval, Québec, H7E 0A4, aprés ce changement d'huile j'ai récupéré mon véhicule avec des défauts de service;
Using illegal facial recognition upon entry?! Used to be my go to stor, now I boycott, tell everybody I know to also avoid and forbid my family to be subject to this kind of invasive treatment...you've got nerve, glad you were caught.
I've included photos below, I volunteer with a cat rescue and have a cat escape one of the traps, the metal levers are not properly clued to the metal plate. Once the cat steps on the trigger. The back plate drops but if the metal lever is clued and secure the cat will escape
Paderno product owned by Canadians tire and purchased at Canadian tire injured my mom who has been cooking all her life. She was bleeding for 4,5 hours and ended up in the hospital
After 4 months of back and forth communications with Canadian tire, we received the following response. Terrible customer care

Been getting auto repairs for 30 years. All across Alberta and BC. Don't go to CT at 76 and king george. Had a 3ft. 1" heater core hose replaced. $470.00. Are you kidding. Other machanics said $150.00 max. Never let them rip me off again. New manager is greedy.
I just tried returning an item. It was if as I was interrupting the two hanging around the returns counter
I have been shopping at Canadian Tire for the last 8 years since I moved out to the Kootenays from AB. It's great to have a place that always has what I need, and an atmosphere that makes me feel comfortable shopping. If I ever have an issue finding the specific products like when I was seeking out rails for my shower after my Dad had hip replacement surgery the staff was helpful in assisting me to choose the best solution to my need. I've had the good fortune to get 3 sets of tires from Canadian Tire and they have always helped me whenever there's been an issue. I've bought a car battery charger and the staff took the time to walk me through the different types and what would be the best fit for my specific need. I really appreciate Canadian Tire that feels hometown and big city at the same time.
Was there to return baby car seat as the cashier was informed they will if not fit to my son. I got the dimensions of the car seat was too small and another there was no any strap to tie the car seat in car. The var seat felt unsafe as it was only a seat belt that has to tie car seat and the baby. The car seat was not used, it was with original packaging but a customer service lady denied to take it back. She asked a lots of questions showing me policy this time. She told me that the opened box box would not be returned. She also blamed that the car seat was smelled. She also asked to tell cashier' s name that I was purchased the car seat etc…. How do I remember the cashier's name? Later, I asked to call her supervisor. Once she came, she was bothering her by saying the car seat was used and that smelled. Once the supervisor informed her to take this back, the customer service lady was still pushing the supervisor not to take it back saying"are you throwing this car seat"? Later after the discussion, they took it back but didn't returned amount my credit card. They gave me store credit. I didn't want to discuss a lot more but accept thinking that " something was better than nothin". So, very bad experience. Bad customer service. Very difficult to return items once it purchased. Be careful. It was happen at the location: Canadian Tire, Dearfoot, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Today date: March 12,2023, around 5:30pm
March 10,2023. I was at the Sheppard/Leslie shop at around 7:30pm. The store has plain clothed workers or outsourced workers taking video or photos of people shopping.
I asked if he was a Canadian tire employee he said yes. I asked for ID, he refused. He said he was not taking phots despite snooping around with a hand phone with what "appeared" to be unknowing taking photos/videos of clients.
I asked an Canadian tire employee and she said yes. But this guy comes at me to argue that there are thousands of people walking in and he takes photos (ah. Now admitting to it). I asked him to name a few of those thousand and he can only identify 4 people. He provokes me to ask the manager, so I do...On a day that a retired person like me has tire to take a stroll and argue when provoked, I do ask the manager. The manager comes and say yes. But apologies as to the crap attitude of the worker...The manager probably is just standing in and not the owner.
Raged and that shop is not going to get my business.
How I wonder if those who had their photos take were asked for permission.
I needed a ladder to fix the ceiling light so I ordered one online for curbside pickup through Canadian Tire website, hoping to save some time. I ordered before the stores opened and they said it will be ready for pickup at 11 am (opening hour). Ordering was uneventful. I got an email telling me to wait for another email before heading to the store. I waited the whole day and nothing happened. I needed to fix the light therefore I canceled the online order late in the evening of the same day and drove to another Canadian Tire store to buy the ladder. After canceling the order, it said "cancellation in progress" - which stayed the same for 3 working days. By that time my credit card has already been charged (why would they charge immediately before the goods has been picked up?) (I know this is for the online order because the charge came from "www.canadiantire.ca" instead of "Canadian Tire store" where I physically went to pay). I called CS and as usual I was put on hold for 45 minutes before hanging up. I also emailed them and have not heard for another two days (total 5 working days). I ended up calling my credit card company to dispute the charge, which was canceled immediately.
I was shopping for a home alarm battery on Saturday morning.I walked into the store and I asked one worker where the battery for home alarms were. He did not seem busy at the time he pointed where they were. So I went to where he said they were and there was nothing there just regular batteries. I then went to ask at automotive desk and I spoke to a worker by the name of Joe. He immediately help be get my replacement battery. I showed him a pic of my old battery and he went in the back to get me the replacement battery. Joe was very professional, helpful. I just wish all workers were like Joe, Great attitude and very helpful. Thank you Joe in Automotive section at store no 237 Woodbridge 3850 Highway 7 location.

In our house we have 2 desktop computers, His and Hers. For the longest time he was able to log into CT and order, then it stopped, no 'log in' showed, he tried to contact through email, nothing. She started to complete the orders on her desktop computer, no problem, then the same thing happened no log in - when you put something in the 'cart' then go to the cart, it shows empty! For the last order we had to go through her iPod 3 inch screen! I am not sure what the problem with their website but we likely just stop buying online and even at the store!
I bought 2 sets of CV PLATTER FEB. 5,2023 at 250 Kingston road location. I opened the box as soon as I got home and much to my disappointment the first box I opened, the platter was broken. I didn't bother opening the other box due to my disappointment. I tried to return the items the following day and I was told by the manager that since I opened the box they will just issue a gift card for that. I argue due to the fact that why won't they return the money on same mode of payment I gave them?. Manager said that it's the policy with no remorse at all and gave me customer relations number. Left the store very disappointed regarding that kind of policy.! For those customers planning to buy something at Canadian tire, I advise that you open the box and check out the items your buying coz you'll never get back same mode of payment when you return your items.I called customer relation, what a waste of my precious time coz they're not much of a help. I told them that maybe the higher management should review and revisit their policy of return and I assured her that I will never set foot again in any Canadian tire store and won't recommend to any of my relatives and family.with this horrible experience, I will give CANADIAN TIRE STORE ZERO for reviews.
I dropped my car at the 1019 Sheppard Avenue East location in Toronto for a flat tire.
The customer service associate advised I would have to leave it overnight which was agreeable.
I was called the next day by the same associate at 11am to say the tire was not repairable and that I would have to buy a new tire. I was also told that the rim was rusty and I would have to replace it. The rims are only 7 years old and yes they are rusty but I do not believe they need to be replaced however the associate insisted that I had to and also that I had to replace another front tire which according to my regular mechanic that I use said are fine so I did not replace the second front tire. The associate told me the car was on the hoist and it will be ready within an hour and he would call me back. 2 hours later I had still not received a call so I called and I waited on hold for at least 20 minutes. I then spoke to the same associate who was extremely rude on the phone when I said he had told me 2 hours ago that my car was on the hoist and that it would be ready within an hour latest.
The associate said well you better hang on put me on an abrupt hold then came back to me and advised that an appointment had put me down further on the list but that he would make sure it was ready within the next half an hour. I went back to get my car and the same associate was extremely abrupt and did not display any customer service whatsoever. I will not be coming back to this Canadian Tire. Having to wait 24 hours to replace a tire is unacceptable. I could have put a donut on the tire and taken it to my own mechanic with much less aggravation than dealing with Canadian Tire.
I went to the store to return an item, Rico the manager in Markham, Ontario was extremely helpful. He lifted the heavy item and got rid of the glass for me. I am very impressed by his service. He also apologized to me: that I have to bring back the broken item. In addition, he offered me a bottle of water. I am extremely impressed by him and the cashier. Great customer service.
On December 10,2022 I placed an order (#: **************)
With Canadian Tire at Markham Road and the 407 in Markham, Ontario for ship-to-home two packs of Catchmaster Rat Size Glue. The order was paid for, processed and approved. I tracked the shipment via Canadian Post almost daily and was surprised by the repeated postponements of delivery for no specific reason. The final entry on the tracking record provided by Canadian Post was that the shipment was sent back to the sender! Lo and behold, Canadian Tire sent me an e-receipt on December 28,2022, i.e., after 18 days of placing my order, informing me that my order is now complete. I wrote telling them that my order has not been delivered but no response was received. I wrote again and Canadian Tire wrote back acknowledging that the rat traps have indeed been returned to the store and if I do no reorder them, I shall receive a refund. Today, 40 days later they sent me instructions on how to return the ordered items which I never received and were actually returned to them by Canada Post! I am still wondering why Canada Post refused to deliver the shipment and how come Canadian Tire informed that my order was completed when in fact the ordered items were sent back to them. I am also still waiting for a refund and worried about mice partying and multiplying in my basement. Both Canadian Tire and Canada Post deserve a zero for efficiency and consumer relations.
Bought 6 months ago the wind blew really hard just before Christmas the zippers wouldn't stay down the wind went inside and ripped the shelter apart Canadian tire says that it is not a manufacturer's problem it's mine
My suggestion, avoid of online purchases through the site of Canadian Tire especially in the section of Clearance. Lots of This fraudulent activities are being done by who manage the site.
You can see an item of lots of quantities in the Clearance section, you buy it, it's okay. But after some time you receive an e-mail related to cancellation of the purchase because of not enough quantity. But when you check again in the site, you see the same item but in a high price.
