I ordered a console table (over $1000 CAD) through this company. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach out to them concerning the status of my order which hadn't shipped yet after one week, I decided to cancel my order. After one whole week, I still haven't heard from them, no confirmation, no refund, NOTHING! They don't answer emails, they don't reach out to their customers. Never again!
Waiting for two months for replacement and still didn't get anything. The customer service just told you the supplier didn't reply their replacement request and the only thing they can do is sending the email again and waiting for response. Over two months, they still have problem with their supplier. Customer service can't do anything and case manager just ignored your email. So you have to contact customer service again. Don't waste your time and money. You might get nothing.
Terrible and extremely disappointed
I ordered three kitchen lights from Canada lighting expert on June15th. The next day I got an email saying that product was out of stock however I will be still charged on my credit card and will get the lights as soon as they are available (no estimated time of delivery). I immediately called to cancel which I found out was not possible as all call centers were closed. I waited on the online chat one day for 4 hours and another day for 6 hours to get in touch with someone who claimed they canceled my order and then I got a confirmation email on June 18 saying order is cancelled. All is ok until this point. Then suddenly on June 30 my door bell rang and two boxes arrived and within half an hour an email from Canada lighting saying cancellation denied and that my order was too far along and impossible to cancel so I will shortly get a tracking # for my items. Now when I opened the boxes I only received two of the three lights ordered and in order for me to return I have to fill an online form. Guess what I can't as when I try I get a message saying "pending cancellation"
I so far have no tracking number so I call them. First day I'm on hold for 2 hr 18 mins until my patience gave up. Due to Canada day I didn't bother yesterday and today I was on hold first for1 hr and 51 mins and then my call failed and then I tried to go through operator who was super rude and put back in a line from start where I was on hold for 4 hrs and then call dropped
I don't know what to do at this point expect for plea for help as I don't know how to get in touch with this horrible company and get my money back

I placed an order for some exterior wall sconces. The site stipulated they were in stock. Once they processed my credit card, they send a notice that the product was back ordered 3 months! Lotsa luck cancelling the order. I waited on the phone for hours, no one ever answers. Sent emails, no answer.
Finally found the obscure cancel button on a link they place on their order confirmation email. They respond by sending a notification that they will reimburse 246$ of the 546$ they stole from me. With no explanation.
(still waiting for my card to be credited by the way!)

They insinuate they are Canadian to prey on our sense of trust.
They claim the product is in stock
They make it very difficult for you to cancel your order despite their fault.
If all else fail they issue you less then half your money back.
Do your self a favor and purchase from your local Canadian lighting store.
This is supposed to be "CANADA" Lighting when you come to check out it charges in USD. It's very misleading and dishonest! It should be clearly marked or converted in Canadian dollars on the Canadian website!

I order 2 pendant lights in March and 4 months later I am still waiting on 1 of the lights to arrive. Very poor communication and customer service. My first shipment was lost; it took them 1 month to acknowledge and send me replacements. Then the order was back ordered. When the replacement order shipped the second time I only received 1 out of 2 lights (only 1 was shipped). It has been over a month and I still have NOT received confirmation that the light is shipped yet. The last I heard 3 weeks ago was the item was on back order again until last week. When I followed up (after numerous phone calls) I was told they don't know what is going on. Once again no communication and no customer service. It's RARE that they reply to an email or call back. I have been extremely patient. Yes, they did offer to refund my money. I keep hoping that they will just ship my last light. These items do get shipped from the US so the price is in USD funds. They do take your money when your order is placed rather then when it ships. They do handle the customs and duty however as of July 2020 there is no duty on items under $150. To be honest for the hassle it is not worth purchasing from this company.

They made it very easy! Not easy to contact and speak to anyone. Tried several times, nothing.
Selection is absolutely fabulous. But please, please make everything in Canadian dollars. It's misleading to have a website that is called Canada lighting experts, and make everything so clearly Canadian, but all the prices are in USD. Reality is most people (like I did) wouldn't think it would be in USD because it just doesn't make any sense, and we won't go reading the FAQs off the bat. I only realized right when I was going to submit my order and I hadn't budgeted to spend that much.
Also please cover returns.
I have spent an almost a week and a half trying to get my order corrected. I called in and placed an order for an all black cantilever umbrella back in May. Waited three weeks to receive the wrong colored item. Was told by a customer service rep that i would receive a callback in 24-48 hours. Order #: *******. I never received a call back in the promised time, then i had to chase your team just to find out what was going on, spent upwards of 5 hours over three days trying to get an answer. Why am i, the customer, chasing you to find our what is going on with a purchase? Then finally received a call from "a manager" told me he would call me back by the end of business with an answer, guess what, no call. Then received a call form a case manager Jazel almost a week after my original call, after i threatened to call my credit card company and let them know of the situation. Jazel tried to remedy the situation last Friday and told me he would call me by end of day on Monday June 15th with approximate delivery dates, i did not receive a call or email. I have sent texts, voicemails and emails and nothing in response. It is now Wednesday June 17th, still no response. This is absolute the worst customer experience of a lifetime, just completely and utterly ridiculous. Something that can be resolved with a phone call or an email and your team has done nothing but provided broken promises. The " manager" just avoided calling me back and passed the buck, what kind of business are you running? It's an absolute joke.
No problems with ordering, delivery was quick. My only downside as that for a company called Canada Lighting their prices are listed in USD.

First time customers from Canada and the service was prompt, and all in all a very pleasant experience! We received our product on schedule as promised and were very satisfied with the end result. We will definitely shop there again!
Would appreciate being told prices were in US dollars to start with.
So a little expensive but good quality. Would prefer to be told that products were made in China before purchase as trying to avoid any Chinese products.

There was an issue with product availability after the purchase was made and monies taken and the team was quick to remedy the situation and offered deeper discounts to secure another order. Staff was friendly, helpful and product well priced.!

My purchase came quickly and I am happy with what I ordered. I didnt give it 5 stars for the simple reason that I am waiting for an electrition to put it up so I cant be sure that all the bits are there and everything works until that happens. Lets assume for now that all is well.
One of the boxes appeared to have been opened and resealed. The accessory package was missing. Called the supplier and eventually obtained the missing parts.
