BritBox garners mixed feedback, with many customers expressing appreciation for its diverse and engaging content, particularly in the realm of British television. However, significant concerns arise regarding the platform's technical reliability and customer service. Users frequently encounter issues with streaming interruptions, difficulties in canceling subscriptions, and unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations over billing practices. The overall sentiment suggests that while the content quality is valued, the user experience is hampered by navigational challenges and inadequate assistance, prompting some customers to seek alternatives. Addressing these operational shortcomings could enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Was excited to get more of my fave shows in canada with the britbox subscription. While i am able to watch without too many issues buffering etc, the interface is terrible, hard to use and doesnt store where you watched up to correctly most of the time. Also the subtitles are usually wrong and clearly were created by a person/machine that has trouble understanding many british accents!
They made me think I'd unsubscribed and had now nothing to pay then I received a £59.99 years subscription bill. It's a trap and the content is better on Freeview. This is criminal behaviour.
I really don't see why I should pay for programmes I have already paid for and it is not worth the money to see programmes that I have already had to suffer adverts. I subscribed to BritBox purely to watch Spitting Image but that programme is extremely poor and can't hold a candle to the original version especially in terms of quality impressions and on the mark satire So subscription cancelled. At least that was easy.
I'm enjoying the content but the app is somewhat buggy. It fails most o& the time to keep track of what has been watched so I have to keep going back to search for the programme I was watching. There are glaring omissions in the content. Many programmes are not yet available,
Some evenings the app will freeze 5 or 6 times and loses inconsistently looses last view history Very hit and miss.
Don't bother!
Old outdated shows. Very repetitive offering Impossible to cancel. Had to contact my credit card company to cancel. Basically big disappointment
I have tried on smart TV also Bt box and a android box, but it is impossible to move cursor over to sign in box, this happens on all three devices so Britbox sign in page clearly has a issue, because of this I cancelled my free trial within two days.
My husband signed up and has been unable to sign in again after giving his details. The cursor doesn't move correctly and it is impossible to sign in.
Great content, but the app is atrocious. Constantly have to restart and re-sign in. Best used through Amazon. Constant errors stating "content unavailable at this time."
We haven't even started using BritBox yet - I called them tonight for technical help and was on hold for one hour and 23 mins, so I then gave up. Any company that allows that length of holding time doesn't deserve my membership.
Dear BritBox
I could be a repeat customer but your many of your series aren't up to date. For example Shakespeare and Hath. Series 3 has been out 1yr but it's not on BritBox. Gogglebox would be nice to see also. Just saying I could do with some updates.
Thanks

Since I started with britbox, I had buffering (that infernal circle going around forever)on every program&film, I logged into.
Why it not happening with Netflix? Or itvhub? My subscription has been deducted already.my complaint hasn't been delt with.
Has anyone else experiences the same issue?
Most of the time the subtitle has a problem: either there is none in the middle of the show, or it is not synchronised with the sound.
The system is very poor: hard to find previous episodes.
Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I cancelled my account and 7 days later have still not received the promised confirming email. Their USA phone number is useless.
If you want a good British platform I suggest you try Acorn Tv.
We have been happy with the show's on Britbox until recently. The new Death in Paradise SEASON came out in the US. Guess what? Britbox is charhi g extra. $2.99 per episode. What a crock, is that what you are you going to do with any new seasons.
You have to wait and after 25 minutes they cut the call. Just had to do the whole password thing on my home tv and my watch list is gone. After two calls totaling 45 minutes I hung up. Oh and the have that ridiculous english recording making what they must think are witty comments
I agreed to the free trial on Amazon. I was almost immediately told I could not watch Britbox because I live in Italy. The end of the story you may think, but oh no, they have been taking money from my account since May of this year, the last in August. I have sent numerous emails and no reply or resolve.
Well done the BBC
EVERY EXPERIENCE WITH BRITBOX IS A RIP-OFF OF SOME KIND.!
THEY SAY THEY HAVE ALL SEASON OF A SHOW, BUT NEVER
DO. MOST RECENT: WILD BILL... THEY ADVERTISE THE FIRST SEASON COMES WITH THE SUBSCRIPTION. BUT, ONLY HAVE THREE OF THE SIX EPISODES.
I WILL BE DEMANDING MY MONEY BACK...
