Don't ignore the negative reviews like I did. I tried Brecks regular bulbs for my garden 85% of a $280.00 order never grew up. I gave Brecks Gifts a shot and they backordered my gift to a friend immediately after I placed the order. Then canceled it all together after TWO shipping dates. No emails, no calls no follow up. I had to keep checking the site and call for a refund that had to be approved. THEY ARE THE WORST. RUN!
I purchased this beautiful Iris in 2020. It didn't survive, however, it was $27.95 so I requested a replacement and again this Iris did not survive. I was told there was a lifetime guarantee. Yet, after two tries I decided to request a refund in March 2022.and was denied but issued a credit since the Iris is out of stock! The products from Brecks used to be of high quality but not anymore. Unfortunately I have not choice but to accept the credit... In addition I've been on the phone for over an HOUR! My last purchase from Brecks!
Do not purchase from this company…ever. The coordination in email material is contrary to the ones emailed before; and then again come the apologies and corrections…. And more apologies. CRAZY AND UNNECESSARY STRESS…. Better to buy local; and have far-far less hassle and enjoy the delightful non- stressful garden( If necessary I can show proof by emails.)
Received as a Christmas gift the Amaryllis bulbs in holiday plant. There was not a card indicating where it was from. The bulbs never produced. When I emailed them they did not resolve issue or replace. When I called India he could not help me without box information. Box is long gone. Bulbs in garbage. No guarantee here. Don't buy!
I ordered Bird bottles for my Family for Christmas. 12/20/21 - I understood they might be late but half were mailed and the others I got an email 21 days later stating that they were now out of stock. Two of them were to family at the same address - one got theirs the other didn't.
In their email they offered 10% as a sorry! REALLY? 21 days later! If you want someone to get a gift I would seriously think twice, they might get it and then again a month later maybe not. Really disappointing and sucks!
I made the mistake of ordering over $200 worth of tulip and amaryllis bulbs from Breck's. Out of 100 tulip bulbs, about 20 were small and shriveled and five had to be discarded because of obvious disease. Many of the very expensive Amaryllis were under the promised 24-26 cm. Size and when they bloomed, I discovered that three were not the even variety I ordered. When I tried to return the under-sized bulbs I was told that Breck's does not refund money, even if they failed to meet their own specifications.
Bulbs arrived late, poor quality, few flowers.
Definitely not worth the prices charged.

We ordered 20 Amaryllis Kits that were incomplete. They were missing the "disks) that were stipulated as important to establish the planting of the bulbs. There was no notice as to why this seemingly essential part of the order was not included. No help from customer service.
RUN, don't walk, AWAY from this company. Throw their catalogs and mailings directly into the trash. Do NOT be sucked in by their color enhanced photos and other marketing bull crap. After ordering over twenty bulbs from Brecks in May, I received 3 dried up looking pieces of crap in NOVEMBER, despite phone calls to them in August, September and October. Brecks charged 18.95 in SHIPPING for these 3 dead looking bulbs. Speaking to their customer service reps is enough to send you into a state of sheer madness as their Customer Service is outsourced and reps are reading from a script and not actually listening to your explanation of the issue or question. At one point I was told that, after receiving 3 bulbs, my total due to Brecks was $187.00! After holding for almost a half an hour waiting to speak to a supervisor my call was disconnected, and I had to call back and subject myself to repeating the same frustrating experience with a different rep. Their prices may seem lower but the quality and overall experience is beyond terrible. DO NOT put yourself through it. Order from a reputable company with service based here in the USA.
I ordered quite a few bearded irises. They were dead, not dormant on arrival. 3 had very obvious signs of iris borer! I contacted customer service in writing and have heard nothing. Not only will they send you inferior product - they'll cause an infestation in your garden!
This is the second time and THE LAST ONE I order from them.
1st order placed in April, would be partially received in October. Received an email a week before delivery date saying that 50% of my order was out of stock and discontinued... Six months after my order!
In the meantime, in June, I placed another order supposed to be delivered early to mid October. I waited until November. Called customer service today, after a LONG waiting time, I was told that the "delivery will be pushed to Mid-November, insisted for a date and the delivery slipped to early December" Really...
I have to wait another TOO LONG time to get my money back, money they have had since June! The refund will need 30 days to be processed!

Got an email saying that my order shipped on 9/11. Looked on their website to verify and it gave me a tracking number. I called today and they say it's BACKORDERED! NO where does it say that it's back ordered! And when you ask for a supervisor they are busy - yeah right! Pay for something back in May and they never ship. SCAMMED! SCAMMED SCAMMED!
Ordered 120 Daffodil bulbs. 7 out of the first 60 I have opened were soft and rotten. Expected much better. Back to big box stores for me.
I ordered some iris plants on May 15,2021. They arrived on Aug. 30,2021. They arrived small, dried-up, and dead. I tried to bring them back to the dead, but to no avail. I called Breck's and a man from India, answered the phone. He told me he did not have the authority to resend the shipment or to issue me a refund. I filled out the contact form on the Breck's website, but never got a reply. I put in a dispute on my Visa credit card, I got a letter from Visa stating that is has been longer than 60 days, so they couldn't iss a refund. They told me to Breck's. I ordered some iris plants from Schreiner's Iris Garden, and received these large, green, beautiful Iris plants, that were properly packed for shipment. I AM NEVER BUYING ANOTHER ITEM FROM BRECK'S!
The pictures on the website and brochures look beautiful but the quality is horrible! I am so disappointed with my Iris purchase from Breck's All the irises they sent were yellow and dead looking. One of them rotted to the core. When I gently pressed on it, it turned to mush and it stinks! I called for a refund and they can only do in store credit. I asked the customer service rep on what's their guarantee for me if I re-order and I get the same poor quality. She told me they will give me in store credit again. Ugh! This feels like a broken record. I left my contact number with her to have the manager call me back so I can provide my feedbacks and future improvements. This will be the last time I order anything from them. I tried to soak them in water for about 2 hours and that didn't make any difference.
Contact the Better Business Bureau and BOYCOTT this terrible company! They should have retired long ago!

Ordered 4 packages of bee balm, about 20 plants. Received this part of the order in April as tangled messes of dried roots. I gently separated them as best I could and planted them as per the accompanying booklet instructions. None have grown... none! I also ordered at the same time 5 reblooming iris bulbs. Only four were shipped and arrived at the end of August. I notified the company. They will not send a refund for the missing bulb, but gave me "credit" since they are out of this item. Now I either have to give up the money or shop with this company again, thank you very much!
I wish I had read the reviews prior to using Breck's. I can echo nearly all of the one-star reviews listed. Only a small fraction of the plants I originally ordered grew. They allowed me a partial refund in the form of product credit. I didn't really want anything they had to offer but used the credit... then I had to pay $10 shipping for the replacements! Park Seed replaced a plant immediately and sent it to me. I'll use Park Seed again, but NEVER BRECK'S.
This is the second time I have ordered from Brecks and the service was as poor as the first time. Two months after ordering plants for my wife for Mothers day, they are still not here. Repeat of the first time. I called several times and got the same run around. Finally I got 9sick of it and demanded my money back and after a week of waiting, it finally showed up. I will never order from them again This is a very poor company and I advise that you DO NOT do business with them.
Answer: They never sent any product that I order for fall. Canceled my order after cashing my check. Still waiting for the refund. So no becks products to show off here. Only a un happy customer
