I was charged a $200 authorize fee without any warning or being told it would happen. I am a college student and don't have the money to be charged $400 for both the boots and an authorization fee. They tried to tell me this is a normal thing for all online website orders which is NOT true. Be warned if you order from here because I now have $3 in my checking account for the next week! They also we're very rude when I asked about it trying to dumb me down repeatedly saying everywhere does it. Never again will I order from here. It should be stated before you even place an order that you'll be charged double what you pay!
I bought a pair of Ariat Men's Liberty Workhog Western Work Boots - Composite toe. In 3 months they're destroyed. The steel toe is already rubbed off. My sole is completely gone. I'm not happy with the purchase. They are work boots that should be meant to last. I paid 209 dollars plus tax on these boots to be completely useless and uncomfortable after just 3months. Ive had boots from Walmart and non brand name last longer. Very disappointed. Want better quality when I pay $200+
I purchased a 200$ hat from boot barn and the way they packed it is unacceptable the hat arrived completely smashed because of the incompetent packer was disappointed on the time I had to wait just for a badly damaged hat they need to pack way better and for me to return it they wanted to charge me $10 for there mistake are you kidding me? The only way to get around the fee is if you go to there store which is ridiculous because I had to take my time on something that they couldn't do right will never do business with again I ordered the hat on another website and they where able to double box and bubble wrap my item that says alot about a company.
I ORDERED SOME BOOTS ONLINE TO BE DELIVERED TO A STORE IN CYPRESS, TX. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE IN KATY, TX. I WENT THERE TO FIND OUT THAT THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE AT THE CYPRESS STORE. THEY HAD NOT GOT TO THE STORE THEN CALLED THE COPOPRATE NUMBER, WAS TOLD THAT THE MATTER WOULD BE SOLVED. THREE WEEKS LATER I WAS STILL CHARGED. I NEVER GOT THE BOOTS AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM MANAGEMMENT AS PROMISED. I WILL GO BACK TO CAVENDERS THEIR SERVICE IS MUCH BETTER. SO LONG BOOT BARN. BE CARFUL BUYING FROM THIS BUSINESS!
This is a terrible $#*!ing site, every other site shows boot barn is a 4 to 4.5 star store, I've been to many different boot barns across California, every single one was phenomenal, amazing stores, beautiful inside, and outside, nice people, and they are very well stocked in all different varieties of cowboy western gear and boots, The place is called boot barn, when I went there they had over 300 different types of boots if you go there for anything other than western gear you're going there for the wrong reason, if you go there for the purpose of buying boots or western you're based on the name of the store, You'll be very happy with the store, do not listen to the site, the site obviously has no bearing on categories
You'll wait 3 months to get your item that ships in 4 days. Not sure why they lie about shipping date, but sure thing, likely, tey don't have your item. Happened to me with 3 different items. I cancelled all orders.
On June 3rd, I ordered some boots and a hat, It said ships the same day on both items for the sizes I selected.
I waited until 6 pm June 7th, and still not shipped. I did call, the rude woman said they shipped today. But when I asked for the shipping number she hung up.
LOL, I will never ever buy from these liars again.
One thing to Lie about shipping, another is to lie again on the phone and hang up.
I used to buy my work boots at a Mall. Then I moved to another state. I was hoping to find my exact boots at the BootBarn website. Wow what an awesome show of new styles. After some deep looking I found my exact boots and ordered them. Came fast, no problems. Fantastic. I think the price was about $10 higher than the mall price I used to pay, but so happy. I want so many other items from BootBarn.
Booked order, said delivery would be 3-5 days. Charged our credit card repeatedly. Multiple contacts with the weak mgmt team. After 5 weeks contact the WEAKEST gal in charge (Erin said she was the "ASM") who told us it was too close to closing, and she did not like our tone. Just the worst Customer Experience over 5 weeks all around!
So I decided to venture to Uniontown Boot Barn for the first time to buy my fiance a pair of boots for Christmas. He never buys himself anything and needed them badly due to ankle pain from work everyday. So being suoer excited for him to open on christmas and wear was short lived the boots were leaking he was coming home with his feet WET. So off we went to Boot Barn in hopes of either a new pair/refund something. Well He decided to just go with something totally different while still being a work boot but a cowboy boot. Just had to spend a little more money. So we leave happy thinking he found something that will be comfortable and easy for him to work in and support his ankles and help with his pain... WRONG THE ONE BOOT SHRUNK>>>>HE CANT EVEN GET IT ON HIS FOOT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! COME ON
WE ARE BRINGING THEM BACK TO YOU BOOT BARN AND I DO NOT WANT NO OTHER PAIR OF BOOTS OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM YOUR STORE. Thamks to your SHODDY items my fiance has had to work in this weather in old shoes until we can afford to get boots again. PATHETIC
I ordered a pair of work boots from Boot Barn. Their web site claimed they were in stock and the right size. The site also claimed to ship the same day. Three weeks later I get an email saying the boots are back ordered and the expected delivery date is March 18. The Boot Barn web site still claims the boots are in stock and and the right size. Called customer service they didn't even try to save the sale and I was issued a credit. I guess Boot Barn is really a hick operation!,
I've bought a few things from boot bsrn. The quality is very inconsistent. Some looks good, other items not so much. I made two online purchases which were a shirt and a belt. The shirt was very nice, but the belt which was more than $50 was way too big, and to top it off, made in China. That's a deal breaker. First, I won't buy chicom sweatshop crap... and for $50 plus, I expect it to made here in the USA. Bootbarn censored my honest review which infuriates me to the point where I won't patronize them again. I don't tolerate censorship of honest reviews.
I order a pair of boots for my husband for Christmas. He loves the boots but they ran a little small so I sent them back with instructions for an exchange and what size we needed. Instead of exchanging them, they refunded my money. I sent several inquiries about this and all I got was sorry for the miscommunication, did even offer to fix it. I called and asked a customer service representative about reordering the boots and she told me the boots were discontinued and there were none left in stock so I told her I would get on the website later and pick some different boots. I got on the website and those exact boots that I originally ordered were still on there so I called to place an order. When I gave her the item # of the original boots and the size I needed she said ok, next item I asked her if those boots had been discontinued like I was told earlier in the day and she said no and that she didn't know why I was told that. Needless to say, I placed my order on 2/2/21 it says they were shipped out the next day and guess what, it is now 2/13/21, no boots, the tracking isn't working and when I tried to track them through UPS with the UPS tracking number that Boot Barn gave me, UPS could not locate the shipment and now Boot Barn is telling me that it will take up to 10 days to investigate. Give me a reason to order here again
Our family has relocated to the Roanoke, Virginia area. As await the completion of our home, we are staying in corporate housing.
There is a Boot Barn located about 100 yards from us. I went into the store and looked around. The store was merchandised well and I was really drawn to the jeans, vest and boots. As I stood in line, everything about my shopping experience, went down hill. There were 4 people behind the counter. It looked like they were struggling with placing a pair of boxed boots into a bag. One was trying and the other three were watching and I stood in line. I waited for about 5 minutes. One guy finally asked me if I needed any help. I explained to him about bringing my family over to look at his store. He looked at me as if I was bothering him. I then told them that once my family woke up, we would be back and confirmed their closing time. Before I left, I asked if they could sell me a roll of quarters. He again appeared that I was asking him to cure cancer Now, I have a problem with his attitude. He then asked the other 3 associates this extremely difficult question. They all looked up and did not know the answer to such a difficult question. I then decided to leave because it was clear they did not want my business.
After going back, we all got ready, went to eat and then to Tower Mall Wrangle store. We also went to the Valley View mall. My family spent over $2,800. It was amazing the courtesy and appreciation for our business that we felt. Your store does not even come close to our experience.
I then explained my experience with my wife and kid at your store. We are a black family and see this kind of treatment more and more. Instead of getting upset and yelling, BLACKS LIVES MATTER, I take my dollars to businesses that appreciate it. As a husband and Father, I take every opportunity to educate my kids on this EXTREMELY IMPORTANT issue in today's world.
Before I wrote this letter, I looked at the message that your website communicates. It was then my thoughts were confirmed. Your sr. Leadership and store personnel explains everything. The WHITE community is the audience you want. No problem, you can have it. We can always and will continue to support the businesses that appreciate all customers that walk through their doors. Their store personnel, managers and sr. Leadership and board of directors reflect it.
Purchased a shirt this summer and today would be the 3rd time I've worn it & the bottom seam has completely come apart. For what I paid for this item, I can't believe this happened. Won't be shopping here anymore!
Ordered a pair of suede boots and inserts, a week later, a package arrives with the wrong brand, color, and size. When filling out the return request, I was informed that these could not be exchanged because the boots I ordered were out of stock and that I would have to print out the return label ( dont have access to a printer) and that there would be a "small" $10 shipping fee. Called to complain. Was told again that the boots I ordered were out of stock. Not being able to print a return label would not be an issue as they will gladly mail me one...(another week) and once they received the boots (another week) they would happily exchange them. I asked... with as much patience as I could muster... how they were going to exchange them for something that was out of stock? The reps answer was... so you just want a refund? I asked about the $10 shipping fee and was told that it would be waived. The rep was unapologetic, short, and overall unfriendly. The I don't really care attitude was the last straw for me. Will NEVER purchase anything from this company ever again, my advice... unless you have a bunch of money you would like to send them and let them hold onto for a month or more and enjoy being talked to in a very condensending manner throughout the process... skip this one. Attached is the tan suede boots I purchased. Not the brand, style, color, or size that I ordered
Bootbarn has crummy pictures and false descriptions. They also don't ship multiple item orders at once, even when coming from the same location. Annoying.
Just tried purchasing some western shirts on their website, it said the purchase was invalid 3 times! I then checked my bank account to see if it went through on there, and it charged my account 3 times! Yet, the website said the purchases weren't able to go through, why did it charge my account 3 times!?! Someone help!
Never received my order and a month later i get an email stating that my order was cancelled because the product was no longer available. Well it was available when I ordered it. Just not doing business with boot Barn ever again. I was starting to like shopping there but no more.
I have waited weeks for my online purchase to arrive. They canceled both orders today. I had to send a email to find out what was going on with my order. Apparently their online items advertised are not always available.
