Boost Mobile's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding customer service and product reliability. Customers frequently express frustration over long wait times, inadequate support, and unresolved service issues, including poor coverage and delays in order fulfillment. While some positive feedback highlights helpful individual representatives, the overall sentiment indicates a lack of cohesive support and organization within the company. Additionally, concerns about misleading information and billing practices further detract from customer satisfaction. This combination of factors suggests a pressing need for Boost Mobile to enhance its customer service protocols and improve service reliability to retain its clientele.

Boost does not care about its customers. I contacted them for help with my bill when covid 19 hit they would not help me but they helped everyone I know more than once. I have been a customer of boosts for 2 years dont recommend
Virgin Mobile sold to Boost. I should have over $150 and service until December 2020. Instead 2 days ago, Boost brought it all down to 0 money and 0 time. Called them. Paul, a supervisor, promised to rectify matter in 24 hours. That was yesterday. Speaking today to Stacy. Took her 30 minutes on hold to finally explain to me that Boost has unilaterally changed the contract that they bought from Virgin and decided that I have to give them more money in order to get service even though my contract should extend to December and there is $150 in my account. Shame on you Sir Charles Branson for selling us out. You got the money and we were duped!
Just yesterday ended my first 90 day transferred term for pay-as-you-go two phone plans. Disaster! Checked a day before and boost page said I have enough balance money ($350+), no need to pay. Then a day later the only email arrives for just one phone account saying your balance is $0. Surprise! VMobile never did this dirty stuff. You could miss a payment for a million reasons and they would not touch your balance. Not boost. They grabbed money from my both account totaling over $700 of balance. I called them 3 times. Everytime, CSR would say "Hold on, I will check something" and my phone call would be dropped. Basically, it's all my fault as they say. Their communication on all levels - NON-EXISTENT! Horrible! When you call them, they steer you away from actual live person, and those people are useless, same as answering machine. So, boost pocketed my money (oh, yes, hopefully you know something about accounting and accounts payable/receivable) that I had with Virgin Mobile for over 10 years or more. They pocketed over $700 just from me, but how many more got scammed by this VM to Boost transfer? Canceled one phone account now with $0, looking for another service with some "honest" provider if they still exist.
I was with virgin mobile and was moved to boost without any choice. Suddenly I am paying way more often than I was before for both phones. Turns out they were charging me for a LOT of texts that I didn't send. They did not offer me any solution for this issue. Granted, it may have been someone using my number, but it is a really strange coincidence that both of my phone numbers were suddenly stolen. They didn't even offer to change my number, they just offered to sell me a MUCH more expensive plan. I dumped them.
Was changing to Boost Mobile from a crappy competitor BUT both are horrendous!
Wanted to purchase the new LG Stylo 6 and Boost offered coupons and a discount BUT.
When it came to the final transaction AKA payment Boost MObile sent instant notification that an error occurred because my credit card company rejected the transaction BUT I should try another credit card.
I did and same error occurred on the second credit card.
I contacted both credit card companies and one card company has no record of any transaction and the FIRST credit card used showed an approved transaction.
I contacted Boost Mobile and learned The Notification was FAKE. Boost Mobile cancelled the sale (supposedly) was told it takes 3 to 5 days for a credit card transaction occur but both credit card companies diisagreed with that statement.
Boost Mobie rejected the Memorial 2020 20% discount so that was the cancellation.
After to talking with four people at Boost Mobile, the old run you ragged with transfer routine, something is wrong with the internal sale plan or Boost Mobile wants to keep that 20% on this smartphone!
I would file complaints and still might BUT to continue business with Boost Mobile would be insane!
Virgin Mobile sold my 11 year account to Sprint, who sold it to Boost. I had two identical phones, both worked at the same time when I was with Virgin Mobile. Only one worked by the time they sold my account to Boost. My working phones screen was having intermittent problems and I wanted to port my number to the other phone. I went into Boost and the employee said "no problem." After an hour in the store I walked out with TWO PHONES THAT DIDN'T WORK. SHE BRICKED THEM. Boost mobile has no contact that I could find but I would love to sue them.
Boost Mobile touts that they are a no contract pre-pay phone service but not the case. If you join with them they will lock your phone till you pay for 12 months of their service, or your phone will never work again anywhere.
We were a long time customer with two phone at Virgin mobile a division of Sprint. Boost mobile took over Virgin and we got transferred into their service. They emailed us and offered us new phones with $100 off on the iPhone 11. Went to a Boost store and was charged $1600 for two iPhone 11, and when I asked why they did not give me the discount offer, they said because I was not a "New Customer" since I was previously with Virgin. I received no receipt, contact nor any kind of paper work at the store and was informed it would be emailed to me. It was not, did not receive anything via email.
After two months of bad service and poor reception, call getting dropped and text not going through we decided to move to another service provider, but found out we could not since our phones were locked for twelve months, since now Boost considers us "new customer".
We are in the process of file Better Business complaints and FCC complaints and would like to join a class action suite if one is out there.
Take my advise and stay clear of this company. Boost mobile and Sprint, one of the same.

They make promises they don't keep. Boost act like they don't know what's going on but it's recorded
I bought two phone online and one of them didn't work well it's screen doesn't work. I went to the store they gave me a phone number to contact the warranty but they sent me to the store and they just kept doing that back and forth. Very upsetting
I tried to file a claim through the automated service with my phone being broke. By doing that I hit the wrong key and by hitting one wrong key now I cannot use my insurance and get a new phone. I've been with this company for 5 years and the first time I need something after paying what I supposed to be it was declined so if you looking for a new phone or a new phone service provider heed this warning Boost Mobile will not be the best place for you to spend your money or your time. So now I'm going to look to for a new phone carrier.
I have Boost Mobile (previously Virgin Mobile) for my prepaid mobile phone provider. I thought all mobile phone companies were in on helping their customers due to this pandemic. However with Boost Mobile that Was Not The Case. I tried forever to get ahold of their customer support and after hours i was able to, to only find out theres nothing they were able to due to extend my service (due on 04/01/20) even by a few days. I told them i wasn't able to get anywhere (my 9 yr old daughter has no school and ive got no one to watch her for me to leave quick, i refuse to take her along any where during the COVID-19 issue) for a prepaid minutes card also I've got no credit card to use. My service was going to be shut off due to this all and after letting them know all of this And the fact of being a loyal on time customer for almost 4 years, they told me sorry theres nothing they can due. Midnight that night my phone was shut off. My aunt 2 days later paid my bill for me after not being able to get ahold of me and worrying. I know this is nothing useful to help with payments for anyone in need, maybe it can be helpful though in letting anyone know how much they can't count on Boost Mobile (or Sprint or whomever is all merged together now in their large Billion dollar Empire) in the future.
Have been with VM NOW Boost mobile for about 7 years! I switched over to a family plan to add all of my kids under my account. When my bill was approaching, when I called to pay it, the automated system told me my payment would not be used towards my bill. I found that strange. It kept telling me the PRIMARY account holder needed to pay the bill. Well I am the primary. So apparently the customer service rep that switched my account over to the family plan, like a jack*** made my 13 year olds number the primary account. So NOW I have $251 sitting in my account that cannot be used towards the monthly bill till I get it switched over. I have called several times. Waited 40 min. Was disconnected, waited an hour and a half just now and was disconnected AGAIN! Went to a Boost mobile store last week and was told there was NOTHING they could do, they were only helping people who had issues with service! I can't wait till I speak to somebody because I'm canceling my service with these incompetent people!
I use to go into a particular Boost Mobile in Elyria OH because the agents there was very knowledgeable and very helpful. These guys were sharp. Glad to go there. Now I am seriously thinking about changing my phone service. All the Boost Mobile stores have gotten rid of the sales men that cared and tried to help people out... and replace them with guys that pretend they can't understand what you are saying and don't care about helping and CANT help you. I mean it's disgusting when you go into Boost Mobile store and these guys can't tell you ANYTHING about your phone that you didn't know. As a matter of fact you end up telling them the features while they stand there looking like they were lost in a storm. I mean none of them can help you. It's like a take over of these guys that absolutely don't know how to help with your phone and they don't want to. The customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my life. It's like a salesman selling something he has no knowledge of and he can't even help you. Worst of all he doesn't want to help either.
My phone was lost and/or stolen. I reached customer service with ease. My problem was quite complicated as I needed a print out for the last 45 days of all my calls and texts. Red assured me that she would not get off the phone until I had a smile on my face and problem resolved. She xx exceeded her duties even offering to disconnect service from back on the 22nd when my phone disappeared. She got all my informatIon quickly and efficiently. The world would be much better off if there were more people like her in it!
Worse customer service ever they have no communication skills and they hung up the on me while I was still talking
I have been a customer since 2010 ( 10 years). Horrible customer service going through T mobile...
First and foremost 90 dollars vanished off my account, one rep says the syatem crashed and then my money vanished, and when i contacted customer service was told the system never crashed and i dont no what im talking about. Thats just the icing on the cake i got hing up on 13 or more times, i was called stupid by a rep i was called a $#*! by a rep as well as a so called supervisor. I was a 5 year customer and after being belittled and called out of my name ontop of the lies and my money vanishing off my account i will no longer be a boost customer. And of course nothing has been done about any of this.
Expect them to help themselves to the money in your account and then tell you it will be reviewed as to why in 8 days, at that point expect 2 weeks to have your own money returned to you. Expect bad, service even where Sprint works fine and to be hung up on by people in India when you have questions they cannot answer.
Purchased Samsung Galaxy S8 on the Boost Mobile website in July. It took 3 weeks to arrive. Upon arrival, Phone was shattered. Customer service was contacted and I was told a return label will be mailed in 3 to 5 business days. Almost 4 months have passed and still no return slip or refund. Customer service is poor to say the least. Do not spend over $250 for a broken phone and no customer service.
Service is crap. Service is crap. Service is crap... i travel to much to NEVER have service. Only way i stay on my phone is wifi..
Answer: I hope so. I want to join. Its not right how they steal money from hardworking people like me.
Answer: You can contact them, but do not bother, they all are trained to act like they know what they are doing but in reality they DO NOT CARE!
Answer: They are worthless. I would not ever recommend them. While their promotions are legit, their service quality sucks.
Answer: Need to change phone to another PHONE. My phone was stolen
Answer: Metro by Tmobile is definitely a step up from Boost. As with all cell phone companies in the store or on line make sure you check out reviews like You Tube before you purchase.
