It all began with a FB post a friend shared on his timeline. He wrote he just came back from an all including 5 days 6 nights trip at $199. I couldn't believe it initially, but then I called my friend and checked this company's testimonials online. We were convinced instantly and booked our vacation. Trust me - it was as thrilling as the expensive trips we had earlier. The resort was world-class and the services were excellent. My family enjoyed a lot.

BOOKVIP is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 66 years. You buy a vacation for $99 with the knowledge that you need to sit through a 90 minute presentation of a timeshare property. When I bought, they told me my choices were in a certain group of hotels but when I booked, it was another resort chain. The resort that the sales representatives told me was terrible but was told it was THE BEST! When I read reviews, I called (4 different calls) and wanted another resort that was actually close to the beach. They charged me $250++ dollars to upgrade to another but this was a mediocre (at best) resort. The first three nights we had no Air Conditioning (think Jungle humidity), we were originally put on the third floor (no elevator) and had to wait over an hour (late night) for a first floor room. Were HASSLED/THREATENED for 48 hours about attending the presentation. The timeshare presentation was over an hour away, presentation was over two hours and THEN we had to take a bumpy ride up an unfinished road to see... NOTHING! Only a vacant lot. It took over 4 HOURS.
I must have called BookVip 40 times trying to book this vacation and I never could get a straight answer about the resorts. These people don't know the resorts, areasha ve NO INFO on what is being offered.
Our plane was not leaving until the day after our 6 day plan so we pre-paid $175 for a bonus night. After experiencing this sub par resort, we told the front desk (3 day notice) that were not going to stay the extra night and these people won't give us our money back. We had already completed and honored our agreement.
PLEASE DO NOT USE VIP or at least go online and read the reviews about these people. Sleazy, unprofessional, terrible customer service, evasive and THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR VACATION.

I paid for a 4 star hotel in 2018. When I called to confirm the date, they said the hotel will notify me within 2 week of my travel date regarding the hotel name/location. 1 week prior to my trip and I still have not heard back about where I am supposed to be going. I called them and they sent me the info. It was a 2 STAR HOTEL. The online rating/pictures of the place was terrible. I called back several time, spoke to several reps, who all told me that they cannot do anything for me because the trip was confirmed. Finally, they sent me over to their supervisor, who after a bunch of arguments, finally agree to refund me my money.
I hope my money get refunded because I saw other complaints that they never get their money back

I bought the trip for $99 to Mexico then I had to pay another 250 or 299 to make it al inclusive then after I did that the said I had to pay $50 a day resort fee. For the five days so now I'm up to 649 or 699. I have to sit thru a presentation. The hotel is grand oasis and you can find it on a variety of sites for about 130 a night.so really you are paying the cost of what it is anyway. But the kicker is after I paid the money and booked my flights I had got a email saying I needed to confirm again which I thought I had already done when I paid and set my date. Well I was bringing my 24 year old son not my legally married to husband. I told them I was legally separated from him and they informed me that if I showed up without him I would be charged an additional $150 a day. Now I meet the income requirements of a single person so I don't understand the problem. If I want to buy a time share I don't need my husband permission. Oh well after reading reviews I saw the hotel had bedbugs and nasty food. They did refund the money I paid but I had already bought the plane tickets so I had to make other arrangements. Which sucked because I was planning for a $99 trip and 399 after I upgraded to all inclusive. But ended up haveing to pay about $700 at another resort. Also cab from the airport $40

We went to Silversands a couple of years back. The experience with Bookvip was as smooth as could be and Silversands was a very pleasing experience. This time we booked Krystal Resort Cancun and it's been just one frustration after another. There were numerous calls and emails up until just 3 days before check-in (when I received an "URGENT" email, which turned out to be another request for thw same information). I was getting multiple request for the same information and it got very annoying. And in the end, the so-called "free" vacation I was "awarded" cost me in excess of $500 (not bad, if you ignore that it was supposed to be FREE). I think we're done with bookvip. I'd like to purchase a timeshare, but there has to be a better way of finding one.

I've bought a package from them before though haven't had opportunity to use it.
Received a text a few weeks ago saying I qualified for free trip to Punta Cana. All I had to do is pay $99 taxes or could upgrade to all inclusive for $200 more both of which I purchased. So I called to book my dates and after being on hold forever was told the package was for "COUPLES ONLY" and that would not accommodate two single women at ANY RESORT IN ALL OF PUNTA CANA. WTH? Are we in Victorian England? Is this really 2019. All they could do was book us in Mexico or refund my money. You get what you pay for and I RECOMMEND STAYING FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.

I'm extremely grateful to Bookvip.com for this amazing all inclusive vacation! All the agents were great helping us to prepare for our trip to Cancun. When we got there, we felt so special by the way the staff treated us. I have zero complains, it was excellent. Bookvip.com took care of everything so that we enjoy our vacation in a great hotel and amazing weather. Living in Alaska, we know how to appreciate nice sunny weather! We stayed at Krystal Resort Cancun and would definitely be back there! The beautiful view and the beach are unreal! Thank you so much Bookvip.com!
