I ordered a book that was said to be in "very good" condition but when it arrived it was covered in stickers and the spine was falling apart, when I asked to process a refund they were hesitant and did not want to. I thought I will just sell it back to them if a refund was a hassle but in order to sell it in "very good" condition it can not have any stickers obscuring the book and must be in good shape. I feel betrayed by the product and am not even able to receive a refund.

From what I can tell the prices on this site seem below average. Amazon was charging roughly $190 including taxes while this site offered the same book for $133. It seems like a good deal, but I got the wrong book. I have returned the book and am still waiting on my refund.

I sold them a psychology book that I had never used before. Brand new, no marks or highlights. They quoted me $60. I sent it to them and they said that they will not give me any money because the book is "counterfit". I can give them $9 to send it back but I don't trust them enough to give them my credit card # so now they have a brand new book worth 100s of dollars for free. DO NOT SELL THEM YOUR BOOKS, IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT BUY BOOKS FROM THEM, you're just supporting their scam as they profit off the books they steal.

This site was really easy to use. Just punch in the book code and quality and it says immediately if they buy back the book or not and how much they will give you. The length of time to recieve the check seems a bit long tho. Overall quite satisfied by this program!
I followed the directions and received a quote for two books I had a Chemistry and a Psychology book. They sent me an email that they no longer wanted my books. I had to PAY to get the books back. The books I received back were an dictionary and a music book. After I contacted them they said that was what I sent along with a Chinese book! WTH? They will not resolve this issue and will not send my actual books back. HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE responses, NEVER NEVER use them they are a HUGE SCAM.
Was quoted $89 for hundreds of dollars of books, then when they received the books, they changed their offer to $25 because of some highlighting and notes in a workbook. Have never had this problem before with other book buying companies. Now they want me to pay to get my books back. Totally unacceptable and a rip off.
When I first found BooksRun I thought it gave me a great quote for one textbook at around $60. It was simple and easy to sell back and ship. They paid for shipping and seemed like I would be paid that amount once they received the book I sent. After a while I never got a confirmation email saying my book was received so I got on the website to check. My quote went from $60 to $0 without any explanation. I am not happy that they changed the quote so drastically and ask for me to pay the return shipping. I decided to not pay to have the book shipped back since it would cost me more to ship back then what I could get to try and resell the book again. Overall, I would never use this site again because of the dishonesty and lack of explanation for the quote drop.
Never use this site, 4 books quoted for about $60, got adjusted to $0 each! I got the book returned and I paid the shipping fee. Sold to another website, all accepted. If you don't want the problem and hassle, DO NOT use booksRun! (They give you high quote, get you ship the book to them, give you $0 and wish you don't want to pay the shipping fee so that they keep the book for free)
