The package arrived a lot faster than expected. I ended up going with a cheaper textbook and returned it within the 30 day period. I sent them several emails about it but they never responded nor gave me my money back. For college students, its not worth losing that much money.
BooksRun is a fast & convenient way to rent, buy & sell textbooks. Few years ago I was using another buy-back hub called TextbookRush but delivery & payment were almost always delayed. The price was right for the books I resold. BooksRun & payment was sent to me w/o issues via paypal.
There is a reason this company has a D- rating with the BBB. Just like Valore Books I believe this company is involved in a counterfeit textbook scam. Somehow the textbook I purchased brand new for $140, that was in pristine condition was immediately labeled counterfeit. I tried to pay the $8.95 to have the book shipped back to me, because I believe they will turn around and resell it. Unfortunately, their integrated payment processing for Paypal failed when I tried to pay to have the book returned. I have contacted customer service twice and have yet to hear back. I have notified the company where I purchased the textbook that BooksRun is claiming it's counterfeit. One of this companies is scamming students and I intend to find out which one.
I sent in a book that they suddenly deemed was not something they could take, but they failed to return my book. Its now 3 weeks and I am still waiting. Won't use again
Sent my book that what is great condition but had some highlighting. They said they couldnt accept it. But kept my book anyway. So if hey couldnt accept it why not send it back to me? Lost 30 dollars.
So far its been okay took a very long time and still have to wait a long time for check I also sent other books that I was quoted $67 for and have not got any notifications about those books so will wait for an updated review.

This place is a scam. The process and strings attached are not made clear. The get you to send the books, then they tell you it is not worth original amount and then they send you less money. SCAM SCAM SCAM. There game is they tell you the book isnt in the condition you stated but they never ask for you to indicate the condition, they say pages were missing which were not missing when I sent it off. Funny how this is for my most expensive book that they will be able to resell (even if it is damaged) for a lot and they just got it for free!
I wouldn't recommend this site. I've been attempting to return this book since it was delivered without success. Contacted site for assistance and nothing.
