Got booked to a room that wasn't available. From a 2 hour delay on the Tarmac, crowne plaza wanted the credit number and would not give shuttle information until they got it. I got turned away at the crowne and sent to a Holiday Inn where I had to pay the full rate too. IHG got well over $400 off me for 2 hours of booking torture and 3 hours of sleep and now days of refund headaches.
The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful. The hotel I requested was too high so she found me one nearby at a lower rate.

Daughter's flight was delayed then canceled. I was able to book new flight and then that was canceled and rebooked. After spending 12 hours at airport I tried to find hotel room from them but had no luck. So I called and after numerous attempts agent Eunice found a room for them after10:30pm. Very happy only issue was with hotel booked did not offer airport transportation.

She placed me on hold, returned, and said I had until 6:00 PM Friday, Nov 7, to cancel. I had her on speaker; Melony heard everything. I called before 6:00 PM to cancel and was told my case would be escalated, with a note reflecting Joyce's assurance. Gold Elite member since 2004. This women went above and beyond to make that we got a room at the hotel that was on first floor and accessible for my daughter and her friend that are going to a conference at a church close by this coming weekend my daughter is in a power wheelchair she has cerebral palsy it's a brain injury from birth she was awesome getting us situated and was able to answer all my questions great experience, i could understand her really well and i usually get someone who has a accent that is hard to understand and you are constantly asking questions and trying to understand them but not this lady she was very good and very easy to understand …. Stranded at an airport, I called for a reservation at the Marriott. That wasn't available, but Jenny offered to help me find another one nearby.
Agent lied and misrepresented reservation. Paid for two rooms and when Che king in only one room twice as much! Totally did not tell truth.
I asked for availability due to a room block with a team. I was told there are no rooms available and only 5 in the entire city those dates and I need to book a different hotel fast.
The hotel I booked was non-refundable, only to find out an hour later that there were 15 rooms available with the team.
After I had given my credit card number, I asked about a cancellation policy. With the Federal government shutdown and all that is happening with flights, I am concerned about flying. So I wanted to know how long before I could cancel. In case something happened with my flight. Then for the first time he said no cancellation policy. At that point the credit card had already been given and charged and he said I couldn't cancel! He did not give me that information before asking for the credit card number. I feel it was wrong. I would have waited to get my room or looked at a different hotel had I known about the no cancellation policy.

Absolutely the worst job I have ever experienced in my entire life. Everything was done incorrectly and when I tried to cancel it and start over they wanted to charge me $208!
I spoke with Carlos when I made my reservation. He was polite and efficient. My only comment would be that while his English is excellent, he speaks so fast that I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. That may just be me. We are coming up there for a celebration of life for a the daughter of a friend. The occasion is being celebrated at this hotel. We've never stayed at this hotel before.
