Booked a room on the phone instead of online because I wanted it to be with the roomsfor our wedding party. Christian told me it was the best price and non-refundable. I went online to check availability for a similar room and it was $300.00 less and mostly refundable up to 1 day before check-in. But I can't pick the room location online. Thats why I booked on the phone. I guess HE gets the extra $300? Disappointed.

We are long time Marriot Bonvoy members and had previously stayed at the Art Ovation in Sarasota. The first representative with whom I spoke was short with me. Did not answer my questions, though I repeated them multiple times and hung up on me before reviewing the terms of our hotel stay.
When I called back, George was already dealing with a frustrated customer. He listened, helped and resolved our issue.
I truly appreciated his professionalism. We are frequent travelers and would be so grateful if more representatives were like George.

This person posed as a front desk worker over the phone of Days Inn. She told me they were full and said she could check the other local hotels and book me in. So she booked me into Best Western which seemed like a good rate. Only to be charged nearly double as it was charged in US funds when I'm in Canada. There was a lot of charge attempts on the card which we cancelled immediately when we discovered this.

She lied about the rate. I called her on it, saying I was looking at the hotel online. She immediately said the rate was high because it was the last available room, another lie. We got there to find an almost empty lot. Then she promised a gift card for the restaurant, which doesn't exist.
