I made a booking request on your website to a car rental from Bergamo Airport, Italy.
I choose the Opel Mokka X from "Sicily by Car"
For me and my family.
At the registration stage, you took my credit card 78 euro.

When I got to the airport in Bergamo.
To the "Sicily by Car" desc
An unkind, Not patient, irascible man Greeted me.
He did not speak clear English, I showed him the order number
He asks my passport and Driving License.
Then he asked me to give a credit card to a deposit of 1500 euro (!)
Not every ordinary person can leave a deposit of 1500 euros!
When I called Twice to ask for service and explanations had a two pointless talks with very polite and useless service representatives who repeat the answers from a script.
To this day I have not found where I have committed to leaving such an exorbitant amount!

Gust A customer scam!

I asked why the amount was so high?
He replied coolly and angrily that this was the deal you had acquired
When I am embarrassed by the situation in front of the waiting list, my wife and my three children, I let him try the credit card even though I knew I had no chances that I have the financial capability.
As expected, the credit card company did not approve the deal
When my wife asked to try to pass her card And her it refused as well
He offered impatience and irritability
Either we talk to our banks or pay now car insurance coverage (even though I paid for full coverage on a website!)
Throughout this embarrassing event,
He barely raised his head to me, Only occasionally with a threatening look, as the baby I held in my hand wailed Without empathy or patience.

You humiliated me and my family in public, you took payment for a service that was not given to me And worst of all, you wasted my precious time on a vacation that was supposed to start on the right foot.

I made a car rental reservation which should have been for 140. For 7 days. Received invoice the next day for 289. And when I called Dollar Rental at Dulles VA they had no reservation in my name.

SELECTED MY DATES AND CAR FOR RENTAL. TOTAL AMOUNT SHOWN WAS CORRECT... ONCE I PUT IN MY CREDIT CARD INFO, I RECIEVED A CONFIRMATION WAS MORE THAN DOUBLE. WHEN I ASKED THE RENTAL PLACE TO ADJUST, THEY SAID I HAD TO GO THROUGH THE 3RD PARTY (ECONOMYBOOKINGS.COM) TO ADJUST THE AMOUNT WHO THEY DID NOTHING! WHATS BEING ADVERTISED ON THE WEBSITE AND CONFIRMED WILL NOT BE CORRECTLY CHARGED.

Cheating about car size
September 4, 2018

The car size advertised by bookinggroup did not correspond to the category of car of the car rental company. At the end, I had not only to pay an upgrading, but also the high fees of bookinggroup, as the car company - rightly - did not want to take responsability for the dishonesty of bookinggroup.
The first and last experience!

STAY AWAY!

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT LEFT FOR ME TO COLLECT. This caused delays and additional cost to me.
By your organisation allowing this company to blaitenly mess your customers around it affects the reputation of your web site. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR WEBSITE AGAIN, I WILL ADVISE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO NEVER USE YOUR WEBSITE. THe amount of distress that this caused me and my fellow travelers is not worth it and I would hate for anyone else to go thru this. NEVER AGAIN!

My family and my mother and father- in law (referred to as my parents) went to see my son graduate boot camp in Georgia. In early August. It was hot and humid. My parents got their car and we drove to Columbus where we were staying, near Fort Benning. Got there on Monday and would be there for the week. Tuesday, the Ac went out on their rental. The car company Sixt, said they will not do anything about it unless my parents paid to have it towed back. It's not in their policy to remedy such a situation.
When I called the booking group to question the type of businesses they book for and what happened I got nowhere. If you push number 3 for customer service, the phone disconnects. It happened to me 4 times. So I pushed number 1 for booking, and they answer straight away! They took my info and said that the customer service department is to busy (that's a red flag) that they will have to call me back. Knowing they are lying, asked thher if they will really call me back. She said yes. Never received a call. Noi customer service, no care. If you look at the reviews, you can see an overwhelming bad review otof ladenthe did ones. Don't waste your time with this site. Pay thre extra few dollars and go to an established car rental company. Their deals actually cost you more than you will save.
My parents had too drive in the Georgia heat and humidity all week without ac. Like the car company, Sixt, this company only cares about booking, not customer service. We'll never use them again.

Not recommended. Stay away from this company. Hidden fees.
I have used this company to book a rental car in Portugal and hidden fees were applied including out of hours fee that were charged because they made us wait to be attended as there were other people in front of us. Yup, you read that right, they charged us because they were attending other people and we were waiting in the queue
The pickup time was booked for 19:30 and return at 7am. As described on the voucher underneath the remaining amount to be paid: Above balance is accurate if no extra services agreed locally, apart from pre-booked items already included. There should not be any extra charges regarding pick up/return times. However, the company have charged us for the return time saying it is out of hours. They have also charged us out of hours for the pickup time.
Our flight arrived slightly earlier than scheduled, it arrived at 19:12 and we were the waiting zone at 19:20 waiting for the shuttle service as described on the voucher. The shuttle service took 20 minutes+ to arrive and when it arrived there were many people waiting that we could not get on the van as there were no more spaces. We had to wait another 20 minutes or so for it to return. Once we managed to get to the office there was a queue of customers in front of us and we had to wait around 40 minutes to be attended. Then, rather than apologise for making us wait and waste our holiday time, they charged us out of hours for picking the car up late (it was 9pm when we finally managed to get the car). Various emails were sent with no replies at all.

I booked a car through them in Bulgaria. What a mistake. The car had numerous problems, including the fact it broke down but even worse the tyres were totally bald. It was a death trap. The company we hired from through them did not tell us the truth in any way shape or form and both them and the Booking Group have not compensated us in any way for the fact they hired us an unserviceable car and took 9 hours to replace it, leaving us stranded. Booking Group offered me the princely sum of 20 euros off my next booking through them. What a joke; that's not going to happen.

I would advise you not to use this company. If there are any problems, they will simply walk away.

RIP OFF DO NOT USE!

I was directed to this company via Travel Supermarket when looking to hire a car on Fuerteventura.
I paid upfront for the full insurance package and also a deposit for the hire.
When I went to collect the car from Orlando they said that the insurance cover I had taken was invalid so I had to pay for Orlando's own.
In addition they did not acknowledge receipt of the deposit so in the end I had to pay the full hire charge.
My emails go unanswered.
I am surprised that Travel Supermarket would want to be associated with this fraudulent company.

This group is advertised on SkyScanner when you are looking for flights, they are shown as Economy Bookings and they will always have the cheapest prices compared to the others.

I have problems with the rental company, it was a very dodgy company in Switzerland called Sarent. I believe the owners are from Pakistan.

Long story short, this company was overbooked and BookingGroup never refunded my money, not even answered my email.

Should you have a problem with your reservation like I did, do not expect that they will help you out. They won't. They will take your money and then once a dispute happens, they will hide behind the fact that they are outside the US and dont have to answer to any authority in this county.

No car is cheap enough for the risk!

Yes, it's a scam!

When we booked car rental, this company automatically charged us for full insurance cover and roadside assistance without us requesting this (an extra £107 approx.). We emailed them straight away but they did not answer. We managed to speak to them on the phone 3 days later and they agreed to refund the extras. We would have liked to cancel the whole thing but they would have charged us for this. We are hoping that all goes ok when we get to our holiday destination. The company seems to be registered in Latvia.
Do not use.

Showed me a really cheap price online and when I did the payment it said I need to pay some $90 at the time of pickup. Requested them to cancel it right after, charged me a cancellation fees. Very dishonest company

Here under my last mail to them:

Il could not say I'm satisfied and will tell on internet how poor is your customer service. You didn't provide me any support when I told you my flight has been canceled due tout snow and postponed for 2 days. You just suggested me to directly contact the car renting company, means you didn't care about my problem.
I called Renta Car to postpone for 2 days they said yes but they invoiced me for two days extra (when I took the car)
I was expecting as responsable company dealing regulary with renting car compagny you could have a stronger position to negociate
In fact it is not the case, means you are a too small company with no power in front of them (or, again, they don't care about their customers which is worst.)

I will just strongly recomand to avoid to work with you as a non reliable company

When I picked up the hire car that I had booked through bookiinggroup.com at EZ car rental in Denver airport on Saturday 17th, the gentleman at the counter told me that I must buy their insurance to take their car and insisted that the Full insurance that I purchased through BOOKINGGROUP did not cover everything. I was naturally disappointed and if this is the case, the info on the BOOKINGGROUP website at the time of Sale is totally misleading! I was fully under the impression that I would not be charged anything additionally when I picked up the car. The gentleman at the counter then went on to tell me that with my American Express credit card I already have the same kind of insurance that I purchased from you. I therefore, telephoned BOOKINGGROUP and later wrote to them to demand a refund for this supposed full insurance that they sold me when I booked the car because I dont need it and I had no other choice but to purchase the insurance offered at the counter at EZ car rental. WE LOST 230 USD BECAUSE OF THIS COMPANY.

I booked a car with a company that was supposed to have a counter at the airport (as described on the website). When arrived it turned out the closest counter was in the city centre. When I was calling to sort this out no one picked up the phone. I ended up renting a car at the airport with another company. After 2 months still haven't received the deposit back. This company is a scam!

ZERO INTEGRITY

This one star rating is overly generous. This company does not serve the public. It serves its own greed. The quoted price was inflated until I called to complain. They told me they would put through my reservation once I removed the block from my bank. My reservation was never confirmed. The name of the rental company wasn't provided. The reservation funds were paid in Euros to a foreign bank. It was impossible to call back for answers to 1. Where's my confirmation number? And 2. Which company have I rented from? Because they were closed. They passed my reservation on to another company who had no record of my reservation and therefore could not confirm it. They charge a $30. Cancellation fee which is part of their fine print. I'm not sure if this is even available to inspect before making a reservation. Please don't be sucked in by the low prices. Its not worth doing business with people who have no soul and do not do business the way we are used

Big Scam

Reservation site showed a price of $282 including traces and fees prior to payment. After I paid for the reservation, site stated I have to pay $202 at the time of picking up the car airport. I cancelled the reservation, it took too much time and then they charged me $30 cancellation fees. Looks like they make money on cancellation fees. A big scam. Do not use booking group at all.

This company is a scam. Please do not use. Had a reservation for New Year weekend in Hollywood Florida. Place closed. Called number on door. Told to go next door. They system is down and they didn't offer any other help (Green rental). Add Car is not in business anymore or never been.

This company base is in Lithuania. It provided inadequate customer service and is not reliable. I made reservation with this company and canceled within 30 minutes later and left them 5 messages. I repeatedly emailed them to request for cancellation. Days later I received only one email asked me reason why I canceled. I replied them back and never received any email from this company again. They still charged me 700.00 and I have to dispute with my credit card company now.
