If you are a regular, they know you by name every time you walk in there. That makes you feel like they care and go out of their to see that you are satisfied with your rental.

Needed a extra car for the weekend and fid not want to go to the airport. This BookingGroup had all the feel of an airport location, although limited on overall car selection, gave great service both during the pick up and drop off
I am still waiting over six months later for reimbursement of our APPROVED insurance claim totaling 304 euros. The stalling tactics and unprofessionalism are astounding (continue reading).
I purchased the full coverage car rental insurance for a 5 day rental in July 2019. There was some damage to the car and we followed the claim process. Our claim was approved by economybookings.com (a subsidiary of bookinggroup.com) on October 15,2019. They told us to please allow up to 60 business days to process the refund to my credit card. Why this should take up to 60 working days is ridiculous in its own right.
On February 4,2020 (approximately 75 working days later) Booking Group Ltd emailed me to say the credit card refund could not be processed due to a "technical issue of the payment system." They requested that I complete a form with bank account details so that they could perform a bank transfer of the 304 euros. It really takes 75 working days to tell me this? From what I can tell, it is a stalling tactic they use to prevent you from filing a chargeback with your credit card company which you can't do more than 6 months after the purchase date.
At this point, I was concerned this was a legitimate fraud. I called Booking Group Customer Service multiple times only to receive a recorded message saying I needed to email them for anything related to claims (they didn't want to talk customers they owe money too). On February 25, I finally got through to a customer service rep by pretending I was calling about something else. They told me that if I send the form with my bank details I would receive the bank transfer within a week.
On February 27,2020 I emailed the form complete with banking information to complete the transfer.
On April 13,2020 I sent a follow-up email to the company stating the I expect the transfer of my claim approved six months earlier to be completed by end of Day April 14,2020. If not, I would take further action. I have not received a transfer so I am taking all action necessary.
My claim of 304 euros was approved on October 15,2019 by Booking Group Ltd. I have the email as proof. I am still waiting to receive the money after countless stalling tactics by them.
I encourage you to not purchase car rental insurance through this company (economybookings.com and bookinggroup.com). Buy it directly from the rental car company. It will save you so many headaches and you will not have to fight for money you are legally entitled to.
The personnel in the vehicle lot were very professional and accommodating. A previous customer took the last minivan that I requested and the personnel upgraded my rental to a SUV free of charge.
