I bought international tickets through this company, needed to change them due to being Covid positive. I kept calling since a week prior to change the dates, all I got was " someone will get back to you ASAP". I called at least 6 times. The plane already departed and I'm still waiting for "someone to call me back". Worst possible service. I fly few times a year, never had such of bad experience. STAY AWAY from this company!
They use to be good when started but now they are absolutely... bunch of unprofessional people got together and dont know which way is up.
I called them over 10 times to modify my flight, they keep on transferring me and either they disconnect you or they answer and once a lady picked up whom I did not understand a word she says.
They are hiring cheap unprofessional labor and process of modification is extremely hard and in my case as of now impossible to get a reliable person online to help.
There were a couple of not good experience with Booking.com. One hotel promised to not take the money till I am there with a cancellation free, however they withdrawn the money and did not return it when I cancel the place. I contacted Booking customer service and after hours of communicating, they did not solve the matter other than they said we will contact the hotel. 20 days now and money still not returned. I told Booking that you did not protect me and while I am speaking they close the phone. I am going to leave review on Trust pilot and google, as I am disappointed.
Just know that bookings.com takes their commission and RUN. No assistance from them in claiming a misrepresentation of B&B and subsequent claim for refund
I was not allowed to cancel or modify my trip (the day I was supposed to arrive)--of course the hotel couldn't adjust the dates - I asked to modify the date by one day. Once you use a third party to book a hotel, the hotel cant do anything. Neither would booking.com help me modify the date. The agent couldn't do anything and barely spoke English. H gave me a number to call that didn't exist: *******7900. I tried to modify online but when I clicked on 'manage booking' nothing happened. So now Im stuck with a bill and Im not even going to the hotel! WORST COMPANY Ive ever worked with. I wish I could give it a -5 stars.
We won't use Booking.com again b/c we had to cancel a condo reservation on Dec. 21,2021 (due to Covid and flights being cancelled) and have had to ask 3 times for a refund ($14 thousand dollars!) and still have not received it.
They are saying we have to contact the booking agent Holt (which we did). Booking.com is not standing by the booking cancellation confirmation.
My family and I planned to take a trip to the country of Panama to visit some family and have my one year old able to spend some time with his grandparents for Christmas and New Years. Upon arriving in the country, on Dec 25, and making our way through the maze of the airport immigration and customs check points, with 7 ppl and a baby, we arrived at the Budget car rental kiosk only to be told that the rental that we had booked with them through booking.com had been sold to another customer since we were past the 1 hour buffer on our pickup time... They also said that they had no other cars available for us at this time. At this point we had the 7 of us plus a baby, with no car seat (car seat was part of the rental agreement) in a country where we had limited phone service options and resources and unable to get a large enough car for the week that we would be staying there...
From when we landed to when we got to the budget kiosk it took 1.5 hours, due to the long holiday lines at immigration and customs. Evidently, it is their policy that if you are 1 hour late they have the right to rent your car to someone else and not refund your money. My problem with this is that apparently they use the arrival time of your flight as the pickup time, making it nearly impossible (especially during the holidays) to make it from the gate to the car rental kiosk in under an hour... my family was forced to find other travel accommodations at a far greater cost that wasn't even large enough to fit everyone so we were forced to drive around with family members and a baby that were improperly secured in the vehicle.
Both budget and booking.com said that they stood by this ludicrous policy and that they would not be refunding us the $500 for the rental that we never received. We will not be using either of these services again, and hope that this information helps others in their decision making while looking for companies to aid them in their travel plans.
We trusted the good reviews in Booking com of a Wyndham hotel in Orlando. It was simply the worst hotel experience we ever had. We were greeted by a sign announcing that there would be no breakfast (breakfast was advertised in Booking) due to COVID. Other hotels offered at least coffee, fruit and yogurt. The floor in the lobby was dirty, A/C smelled moldy. Remote was broken, and they replaced it with another broken one, and we were given only one pillow per person. I need to elevate my head because of allergies, and the cleaning services employee told us that they were instructed to give each guest only one pillow. By then, we reached our tolerance limit and decided to check out. We were surprised to see two other families ahead of us with the same idea. I heard one man say that he was allergic to dogs and there were visible hairs in the room, which obviously wasn't adequately cleaned. The sympathetic woman behind the desk nodded her head when we voiced our complaints and had no objection to refunding all our money. My husband related all this on the Booking site, and they refused to publish his review, claiming it was clearly fraudulent. Erm, no - it is Booking that is perpetrating a fraud by refusing to publish our negative review.

All I can say is that the entire team made my stay very pleasant. Ali and Khalil were great as well as the entire front desk and concierge staff! Everyone was both professional and courteous. It is a very clean and convenient location... the views were great too. All told, I highly recommend it!

Horrible customer service. The reservation was glitched to be the wrong date and they did not refund us our money like Jayla promised per the manager. They refused to give an email confirmation of the refund and now I know why, so they can please the customer on the phone that day but screw them later. Unbelievable. We haven't even got to the state of florida and they won't refund our money. Great way to start a vacation. Do not trust them.

I supposed flight to my country to have Christmas dinner on 12/24/21 my flight was at 6:50 am and they change my flight without let me know Booking.com did not send me any email or call me and I called them they told that their policy was no refund and not reschedule their English is not good and they do not speak Spanish, please do not buy any flight tickets with this company.
Booking.com says free cancellations. I made an advance reservation 1 month ahead. The next day I had to cancel. I contacted the Hotel all was well. Contacted Booking with little response. After 2 weeks I contacted Booking again little response. After the the original date I received tax refund of $12.03. Booking said since I was a "No Show" I forfeited $90.00! How can one be a no show after a cancellation.
They are not a reputable company. Deal directly with your hotel/motel by phone. This site is a RIP OFF!

I have used booking.com almost exclusively as long as I can remember. I made the mistake of booking a flight with them. The return trip was cancelled without any warning. In fact, the app said confirmed and I was getting check in requests the day before. Tried to call booking, waiting on hold and no answer. I had to book another flight at my own expense and am now out 2200 dollars. Booking assumes no responsibility for this. I clamor for a manager to speak to and finally was promised that someone would call me. A week and multiple follow ups later no call.
I can't believe this is how they handle themselves, I have never in all my years experienced worse customer service and sincerely regret the years of customer loyalty and advocacy on their behalf. It's like my boyfriend suddenly started treating me crazy and I'm lamenting all the years I wasted with him.
I see from other reviews I'm not alone on this, seems many have been scorned and have lost money dealing with booking. A business like this should not be in business… I sincerely hope they go out of business
We stayed at 'Under the Moonlight' during our Christmas break this year (2021). Albeit being an excellently furnished and outstanding abode, the place in it self was full of cobwebs and dust. I am terrified of spiders and also allergic to dust, therefore, our holiday was not as exceptional as I would have liked it to be. I had to use my Inhaler multiple times to avoid getting an asthma attack, and I was not comfortable even sitting on the sofa due to the fear of a spider popping out of the cushions. The person who checked us in was very unhelpful and distant. I would never go back to this place, although we fell in love with Dinner Plain. I would not recommend a stay at this particular chalet to anyone.

I booked and paid for accommodation. When I contacted the hotel they confirmed that they did not receive any bookings from booking.com. I spoke to the manager and front desk and the hotel also send me an email confirming this. I copied booking.com into the emails as well as sending the proof to them Again and again and again and again... No feedback, no refund... Nothing. Their customer service is nonexistent. Stay away from this company as far as possible.
We stayed in an apartment that was infested with cockroaches, mould and rust. The sheets were also dirty. Property is called serain residences on surfers in qld.

DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO MAKE A RESERVATION! I made a reservation through Booking. Com. For the Immokalee Inn. I received a confirmation by e-mail. Then on 3, yes 3 occasions I received a request for a credit card. I inputted 2 through this process. My cards were declined by both this Inn ad Booking.com. They both have NO INTEGRITY! I called to talk to the manager. Was told he wasn't there. When I asked when he would be there the lady said, Don't know, he's the manager. As I tried to explain she overtalked me and would not help. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!
Their service is really bad, I was asking for an Invoice from my flights and they wants me to wait 7 day but after 7 day they said I need to wait for another week. I told them I really need the Invoice for our company but they did'nt take it seriously. Really bad and unsatisfied. If I could give them minus 10 for this review I will give them -*******, super Bad!

We rented what was supposed to be a 3 bedroom 3 bath for a family vacation during New Years. We got there only to realize the house was falsely advertised and was only a 2 bedroom; 2.5 bath which meant one couple had to sleep on the very uncomfortable couch! There was no local TV…which meant no live football games. It was a very disappointing stay. I will never again go thru booking.com for anything! These people need some serious customer service training!
Answer: In my case they took my payment information and paid the hotel where I was going to be staying. Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.

I had to go to American Express customer serviced to complain and they gave a dead line for explanation. They had no explanation for crappy service and had to repay me.
