I didn't look at the reviews until AFTER I completed my purchase. It left me paranoid as heck, so I immediately called the toll-free phone number. My agent was Symon and he was FABULOUS! I shared my concerns based on what I read in reviews on this site, and to reassure me he promised that:
A. I would NOT incur any extra charges beyond what my confirmation stated.
B. My flight ABSOLUTELY WAS TICKETED.
C. Should I have ANY ISSUES, he would personally address them.
Therefore, while on the phone, he sent me a personal test email; and because I hadn't received my official travel info yet, he re-sent that email also (twice). Once we hung up and I received my e-ticket info, I logged onto the airline's site (Virgin Australia) to confirm that I really did have a ticket... and YES I REALLY DID HAVE A TICKET! Lastly, I called the airline for further confirmation, and the airline also confirmed that everything was booked and confirmed.
The main reason I decided to take a moment to leave this review is because I am a student going on a study abroad trip (to Australia) where cost matters a LOT! Had I gone solely off of other people's experiences and reviews, I would have caused myself to spend more money than necessary by not booking through this very reputable company. It seems that when we have good consumer experiences, we are much less likely to share, than when we have bad experiences. This was a wonderful experience!
By the way, PLEASE take a moment to read the terms and conditions before completing your purchase so that you are fully aware of the parameters of your purchase!

1. I changed us the flight with double charges(they promises that the first one will be refund), but when i called them, they refused to do so.
2. They did not send our contact information to air flight company. That causes we did not get any notice when our flight being cancelled.

Very dishonest, difficult and unwilling to help once they got your money. Never deal with bookairfare. Com.
I was double charge for the same flight and they refuse to admit it and refund me. I went as far as sending my bank statement with the charges and they ignore it, once one rep even suggest its a mistake on my banks part. I then had to go through my bank to dispute the charges and get my money back. I was going through a family emergency at the time and that was my reason for doing business with them and they knew that am disgusted! I would NEVER! Recommend, save yourself the headache

Was looking for 2 different flights to Greece. Both were at a fantastic price. A lot cheapier than other sites.
I had purchased a British Airways roundtrip ticket from them from Toronto to Lagos, and had flown the outbound sector, I was going to change the date for the inbound sector, but having read the bad reviews on them I decided to call the airline first to have an idea if there was availability on my booking class to pre-empt the lies they would tell me about the need to pay a fare difference, and it was confirmed by BA that there was availability, but the airline couldn't make the change because it was a commercial ticket issued by the agent. And true to my expectation, my fears were confirmed, I called Bookairfare to make the date change. They were going to charge me $300 for the date change penalty and requested for additional $500 plus for a fare difference which is not required if ticket has been partly flown and there is availability of same booking class which had already been confirmed to be available by BA, more so my flight date is an off-peak period. As an experienced and certified Travel agent I understood immediately that I was about to be ripped-off. A date change on any BA ticket would normally cost a maximum of $225 CDN and the Travel agent is allowed to charge for service. I declined the offer to be ripped-off by Bookairfare. I will never buy a ticket from them no matter how cheap it may be as they will in turn rip you off if at any time you need to make a change. I am sure a lot of people have unknowingly been ripped-off by Bookairfare in this manner.

I have written to this company and 'Kim' so many times I have lost count. My flight was changed by WestJet and I was asked for agreement or not to the change. I did not agree and requested a change in mid December. It is now mid January and I have not received confirmation of the change. Kim does not respond to me emails and the folks at the call centre can't help.
This service is totally unacceptable and I do not see the company trying to improve on the negative comments received in the past. I will never go through them again.

As happened to many others here, i was conned by this company. I purchased a ticket and never received an e-ticket not even a cancellation email! 12 hours before the flight i called Bookairfare, only to be told the flight was cancelled by the airline! That's a lie. I called the airline (THY) and they confirmed that it was not cancelled. The trick used by this company is this: they reserve the ticket on your behalf and never send you the e-ticket. They either call you to notify it was cancelled or expect you to call them. And upon speaking they will tell you the price is changed and the airline cancelled the ticket for that reason. However, if you pay extra £££ they will issue you the ticket. Its a scam. I will notify Momondo to remove this company from their affiliates. Bookairfare told me i could not find the ticket at same price. However, i purchased the exact same ticket from Mytrip without any problem. Avoid this company at all cost. Do not rely on them issuing the ticket. You will lose time and effort. I will be reporting them to Trading Standart as well as any other relative departments... This is a geniune review and feedback. When booking a flight online and after entering my credit card information - I got a message with red lettering that the flight wasn't available anymore.
After a second try unsuccessfully, I called them to buy it over the phone but it was for a much higher price. So I booked that same flight with another company. Turns out despite getting the "not available anymore" it had gone trough my credit card. Now I have 2 same flight tickets- not able to get a refund or use it as credit for another flight.

For my weekend vacation to Aruba I was searching for cheap flight deals. This website provided me the best deal and helped me save close to $15 and I was able to use it elsewhere in my vacation.
I booked with bookairfare in August 2015. When I checked my bank statement I noticed I had been overcharged by $85.21 CAD and they refuse to return my money. They acknowledged that they did in fact overcharge me this amount but have never refunded me. They ignore all my emails.
It is now 2021. They never got back to me.

Having used this website for about 7 months, I can say it is one of the reliable and trustworthy travel websites I have come across. The deals are real and discounted, so you can save a lot.
Buyer beware! It will be so difficult to book online that you will have to call in. Calling in will be a call to India. Nothing personal but it's difficult to understand.
Because of medical reasons that have come up, I can't travel on and so no refund of any kin will be granted. But in addition to that, they said if I use it as a credit I would have to spend an additional 200.00 to do that. And it would have to be the exact same trip! Nobody does that!

I had to have my flight to Vietnam reticketed and was only able to do so after placing over 20 calls to the company. The response I received to many of my calls was that the issue was being handled by the company's "concern department." Every time I called I was put on hold and then told I would be emailed with the outcome once the issue was resolved. When I finally received an email from Martin Sanders in Customer Service it simply told me to call back again. The email also indicated that my issue was low priority, even though I was told otherwise:

Evidently they were not concerned whatsoever because no action was taken for 12 hours after my initial call. Finally, at midnight on July 23rd, I was told that my ticket was being reissued and asked to pay $900 in penalties which I agreed to do in order to catch a flight on the 24th. That morning I arrived at the airport, only to be told there was no ticket in my name. When I called the company, they kept giving me a ticket number which did me no good whatsoever because the airline had no record of it and turned me away. Needless to say I rented a car, drove back to Oregon and have an additional $1500 in credit card debt with no vacation to show for it, just 36 hours of extreme frustration with this company in Seattle.
