Terrible! After booking airfare received email 2 days later stating part of our reservation was "on hold" and to contact them. Attempted to contact via phone and email multiple times without success, no human ever answered the phone calls and no one ever responded to the multiple emails. Confirmed with the actual airline that bookairfare.com reserved seats and then two days later canceled the reservation. We had no knowledge of the cancellation other than the email saying part of our reservation was "on hold"
Same exact people from INDIA they just scam u they never give u a ticket we need to put them all to JAIL THAT IS WHAT THEY DESERVE!
Bookairfare.com is the worst! I booked my flight 3 days ago, and they sent me an email saying that part of my booking is on hold. I called them twice and they said my reservation is finally confirmed! I had to call them again because I kept getting emails (17 to be exact) from them saying that my reservation is still on hold! They finally told me that my booking is canceled. Because of their poor service, I had to rebook my ticket (this time definitely not with them!) and pay twice the price I initially paid due to the increase in fare. Do not use their service, you will regret.
So, everything is cancelled right? Of course it couldn't be that easy. The next day I get an email to contact them by phone. I call thinking I had better or they will not cancel. Well after 30 minutes on hold I finally get an agent but. I give the lady my trip id number and she puts me on hold, 5 minutes, 10, 15, 20 minutes. CLICK I get disconnected.
I am through with phone calls so I send them an email and as politely as possible, considering the circumstances, tell them my "adventures" and to email me the reason they are asking me to email them. I get an automated email from them every 3hours to call them. If I wasn't worried about them having my credit card I would blacklist them! Stay tuned for any more stupidity! Oh by the way it is confirmed that they are also called Fare Geek so beware of them too!
The prices are lower because it is a false price. This is only the price until they raise it later. They will send you an email as if you have a ticket then email you to say you must pay more to get the actual ticket. Charged my card, and still don't have a ticket!
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! This company is also Faregeek.com, so don't be fooled! They charged my mother and I more than we agreed to pay and never refunded the extra money. Then my husband's and my return flight from Paris to San Diego got cancelled and they never notified me. I happened to check online a few weeks ahead of time and called the company to fix the problem. (Thank goodness I did, otherwise my husband and I would have been stranded at the airport indefinitely!) At that point they said that there would no seats available and that they couldn't get us home until over 24 hours later. They would not pay for the extra expenses that we would incur as a result of the changes. I called over 20 times, always waiting on hold for at least 20 minutes before the phone even got picked up, only to have someone tell me that there was nothing the company could do and that I was just out of luck. The agents even had the nerve to get mad at me for calling! While the company says they are in Delaware it is very obvious that they are located overseas, if for no other reason than the fact that I was asked if there was a "local train from New York to San Diego" that I could take instead of flying. Seriously?! Bookairfare/Faregeek refused to take responsibility for anything and made it obnoxiously difficult to even get home after I had already paid for a return flight. I will only buy tickets directly through the airlines now as a result of this painstakingly frustrating experience!
I am looking at fares from Vancouver to Milan, and they have some very good fares.
