Whilst booking my online ticket from bookairfare.com I had an internet issue and I wasn’t getting notification for the online invoice for the ticket purchased. I called in the customer service for help. A young man named Stephen attended my call and assisted me to find out that the online payment was successfully done.
I was looking at a budget-friendly tour package to Manila, Shanghai and Paris for a personal vacation. Book Airfare offered me the best package for a round trip that came within by estimated budget. I am happy with the services and have thus recommended the website to all my friends.

These people are completely unethical and unprofessional. I cannot believe that they're still allowed to operate. They screwed up my name on a reservation, and instead of fixing it for me, they told me that they didn't mess anything up, and I had to deal with it. At first I thought speaking with a supervisor would help the situation, but nope, that really didn't. The supervisor was equally unwilling to help and very nasty. I made a huge mistake booking with them.
Long story short. Booked a flight from JFK to Chicago for $350 through skyscanner.net. They sent me confirmation email and everything looked legit. I had my suspicions though and entered the booking number in the United airlines website and it said the flight was cancelled. I called BookAirfare and they kept telling me my card had declined (it hadn't) and that someone would call me back. They never did and never will. STAY AWAY!
Received confirmation of reservation after booking online for an international flight and 2 days later, an email indicating that part of my booked itinerary was on hold. My attempt to email bookairfare.com bounced back and after multiple call on their toll free number was told that pricing had increased, 2 fold... yes 2 fold... I canceled of course.
I am assuming that the 2 days delay is designed to allow the traveler to further plan his trip with additional booking making flight cancellation more challenging. Pretty good scheme to force you into buying their scam. By the way, my contact at BookAirfare with a strong indian accent was named "Maverik" with no other ID: this by itself tells it all.
My pregnant girlfriend desperately needed to see our doctor because of severe problems she was facing. The doctor told us to get her back home as soon as possible. When I called the airline (Air Berlin), they told us that rescheduling the return flight is a quick fix - simply pay a small fee plus any difference in market price. They did inform us, however, that the change would have to be done through the travel agent since that's were we purchased her ticket.
The first individual that I spoke to said that they will allow us to change the ticket as a result of the medical emergency and that he will call me back within 15 minutes with the details. That person never called back.
I then called again, this time with documentation from Air Berlin stating that a ticket change is indeed permissible. Chester, their customer service representative, told me that no change can be permitted under any circumstance, even in a life or death situation and that I would have to purchase an entirely new ticket.
This is, of course, insane. I asked to speak to his manager, Kevin. Kevin gave me the same response, as did the director, Brian. I called Air Berlin again and they told me that the travel agent was deliberately lying - and this is after I informed them that we were in the middle of a medical emergency.
If anything happens I will take legal action against both the travel agent and Air Berlin. Below is the email from the airline:
"Our price structure is based on demand and that is why it is not possible to calculate the costs and communicate them in written form. The delay between sending and replying to an e-mail could give room to a possible price change, thus making it impossible for us to guarantee the prices we estimate.
We do confirm that a change is possible as you are booked under our Fly Classic fare which allows rebookings against a fee of 130 EUR + ticket difference (amount on which you will be informed about by the agent)."

I was charged $700 more than the price was quoted to me. These are cheaters and liers. Can someone shut these people down an arrest the employees. Never had such a bad experience. These guys do not deserve any stars.
They cancelled our flights without even letting us know. When I accidentally discovered it, I called them and they proposed another itinerary, that I accepted. They claimed they were not aware. Sure...
They never re-issued the tickets, and blamed japan airlines for this. I called Japan Airlines, and they said that, even if the travel agent (bookairfare) was supposed to handle this, they would gladly accept to contact them.
JAL call me back, and said that Bookairfare did not even bother to answer their emails.
Bookairfare did nothing, but take my money and run. If you dont want this to happen to you, stay away from this people.
AS if not difficult enough, they barely speak english, and have very limited understanding of travel industry.
If you're on the cheap, take note of their proposals: flight schedule and numbers, and submit price to your local travel agent to see if they can match or get similar pricing.
Otherwise, buy from airline or expedia, or some worldwide reputable agency.
Do us (we, all people bookairfare stole) a favor, and do YOURSELF a favor: stay away from these guys. Believe all of the other bad reviews, for god sake.

I bought 3 international flight tickets. First, they charged my account more money and I needed few hours to cancel it. Few agents just hung up on me when I called them and simply asked what are those extra charges. Only bank helped me. They just cancelled the extra charge. Then, when I needed to cancel one of the flight tickets I wasted 3 days and more than 6 hours trying to solve the problem. I contacted the aniline company and everyone there was ready help me. I got situation related with medical conditions. According to the airline rules it is possible to get refund of the ticket because of medical conditions. BUT, bookairfare didn't help me with this matter all they told me that the ticket is not refundable and 4 of then just hung up o me. I surprised that this kind of the company even exist in the United States of America. They are rude, unprofessional and their service is really inadequate.
If you don't want headache so don't buy from them. I wish I would spend even more money but buy directly form airline than I have that much problems, headache and feeling that helpless and frustrated
I booked over three months ago and now three days before my flight, they informed me my flights would not make the connections, sent me new flights to confirm (horrible times and layovers), then when I confirmed sent another email saying there were no seats on that flight. I have been hung up on twice and have been hanging on for almost an hour. I'm not sure what recourse I have at this late date, but I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
I usually never like to write bad reviews. But it would be an injustice if I didn't. Booked my flight online, did not receive an e ticket confirmation. I called them and they said wait 24 hours. I patiently waited and called after 24 hours to find out they did not book it and the reservation was cancelled because of an internal error. Then they proceeded to tell me the flight is full. TOTAL BS... booked it on orbitz without a problem a few minutes later! They should shut down their site and do us all a favor!
