I ordered a dress on Jan 29. I needed it for Feb 12. The estimated delivery time said I would have the dress by Feb 12 for my brothers wedding. My order never came. When I search the tracking # the website says "delivered". This is not true, nothing was ever delivered to my house and I had to buy a new dress since theirs never came. I e-mailed boohoo and they never responded back to me. A week later I e-mailed again. No response. Never came. No refund or followup. This website is a scam :(
I have only shopped here once before and I should have learned from that experience. I ordered 4 items on February 2nd and received my confirmation order letting me know it had shipped on February 3rd. After waiting the 8 days I attempted to contact customer service with an inquiry as to where my package was. I had tracked my package with the information provided and it said the expected delivery was Tuesday the 9th and Thursday the 11th. I could also see that it arrived in customs in Chicago on February 4th. First email with customer service was a fail. I had clearly stated in the email I had tracked the package and their response was almost as if they had cut and pasted the information I already said I had. Since then I have tried to have multiple conversations with customer service via email. Not only did they address me with a different name (because glancing down at the name you are replying to is apparently extremely difficult) but when I only received 1 of the 4 items I had ordered, they then responded in an email "great news! Your items are in your designated city". Are you serious? Did you not even bother to read the infuriated email I wrote? Your companies sales jumped recently cause of new customers like me, but I promise they will plummet with this hideous customer service approach. Customer service 101:1) address issues and concerns 2) get the customer's name right. I will never ever even look at this website again. Your prices are not competitive enough to deal with the disgusting disregard for your customers. Expanding your company will only make it more hilarious when you fail. It appears I am not the only one with these opinions. It is currently February 17th and I have 1 of 4 items I paid for on February 2nd.
I orders with a coupon code for free shipping plus 25% off. After reviewing my paypal, I notice that I only recieve the $5 discount for shipping. I immediately emailed customer service, who responded the next day, by telling nothing could be done. I asked if I could cancel and 2 days later they said no because the order had since been shipped. The only option they gave me was to return the items, pay for return shipping, and reorder. From past experience I know that returns take 30-45 days to process. This solution is unacceptable. The website frequently offers 20-40% off and to not honor a coupon code that was accepted at check out sounds like a scam to me.
This is my third time that i buy clothes from here and they are pretty awesome! Never late with my deliveries. Just last week because of the snow storm here in new york the deliveries were delayed and I contacted customer service and they were very helpful! I love their clothes! Great website
I've purchased from this website at least twice but not recently. My first order were a dress, heels and other stuff that my mum wanted. The quality of the shoes weren't great, the size isn't true and it was just squeezing my feet, though I don't have much experience with heels. My next order, I purchased some of the shirts and shorts, mostly on sale. Some of the products I love but most were a disappointment. The material for these "flippy" shorts were horrible, they looked way too small at the waist and used this elastic band but when stretched to be worn the material would look like a totally different material to the rest of the unstretched material, lighter and the band could be seen. I also purchased a oversized shirt which I actually quite like, at first it seem way to big but the material was good, and now wear it all the time when lounging at home. Thumbs up. Same goes to two other shirts, okay quality and part of my basics. Though another shirt purchased, white in colour, looked good in the pictures but deceived my appearance of what the material would be like it lacked quality. It was made out of 100% cotton, which i thought would have been the best material, I guess I just don't know much about materials, but when i received it, I think that it was just what i was expecting. It was a little see-through. Neckline bit stretched. A little disappointed again. But overall, I think that you should just be a little more cautious when shopping online and examine everything thoroughly, looking at the pictures carefully, not trusting how an image portrays something (it's all about lighting; everything is not what it seems), research your fabrics (unlike me) and read through reviews of the product on other websites and the actual website too.
I ordered what I thought was a cute top I paid for express shipping and I didn't even get it on time. The material of the top was horrible it didn't even look like the picture from the website I ordered an XS and it was huge! I also ordered leggings and I promise you the only thing that would fit into those leggings were my arms a 5 year old would probably fit into them. I ordered a black top and a crop top and I didn't have a problem with the material or size so I guess it evened out the situation
I ordered a bomber jacket from boohoo and turns out that it was too big for me, so I had to refund it. I simply wanted a smaller size but they don't have such thing as an "exchange", they expect you to return the purchase and wait until you get your money back to place another item. Anyways, when I returned the item, I had to pay for shipping. Which was ridiculous that I had to take money out of my own pocket to returned something back that I don't want. That technically means that I don't even get my "full refund". They said that return items will take no longer than 21 days. And my item took WAY OVER A MONTH. Uhhh... It usually takes 1-2 weeks on average for other companies. Anyways, I emailed them a couple of times and all they did was spam email me about unnecessary stuff and saying that it's normal for returns to take this long. And then I finally got an email asking for proof of my refunded receipt. I sent them a photo back yesterday and they FINALLY emailed me today that I'll be getting my money back in 3-5 business days. I would've liked for them to explain to me on why my refund took SO DAMN LONG but I didn't get an explanation. Mind you that I returned my item on 12/11/15 and today is 01/19/16! I didn't even get an apology back. Don't order from this site. They make returns so complicated.
Ordered from Canada, received my package 9 days after ordering. I ordered a blazer and a dress.
The blazer was quite thin, although the material was still fairly good quality considering the price, and it also looks great! Doesn't fit awkwardly or anything. The only problem I had was that there was a lot of threads sticking out here and there. Some of them were loose and I could easily pull out, others I will have to cut the ends.
The dress was also as depicted in the picture. The material is a little cheaper in quality, but overall the dress looks great and true to size. I can't complain too much about the material considering the price.
Overall, I really feel that I got what I paid for, and they were quick with sending the package, so great first impression.
I don't like bashing companies, and I have ordered a few times from boohoo thinking maybe this time it'll be better. But no, horrible quality, yes its cheap but come on see thru stuff? Ripping shirts, itchy sweaters... never again whats worse is. The return you pay for, on top of that it takes them at least 21 days to process. And when you try to get in touch they tell you the same thing "your package hasn't arrived yet' liesss. I sent my package 3 weeks ago via fedex fast shipping. WORST PLACE TO SHOP FROM. DONT EVEN BOTHER.
I ordered a bomber jacket from boohoo at the end of October. I had been looking at it for a while and decided to go ahead with the purchase once I thought I had enough money to be paying for the jacket. It worked out at €30, although not a lot to some it is a lot to a struggling student. However, within less than a month the jacket had busted under one arm and because it was past the return date I got it sewed by a family friend. While the jacket was being sewed, under the other arm busted too. All was fixed until I noticed today that at the bottom of the jacket that the seam had busted in yet another place. Not happy at all. I had no problem with the website itself or the service but the quality of the product clearly isn't good. Would not recommend the website to anyone else and will certainly never be buying from it again as the jacket was my first experience with any product from boohoo.
This is seriously the worst online store I've ever ordered anything. The products are much worse quality than the pictures on the website show and I had to return everything I ordered (two dresses, a bag and a necklace). This has never happened to me before and I buy most of my clothes and accessories online. Even worse is their absolutely horrible customer service, or more like lack of it. I had to contact them because I had some issues with the return package and both the answers in their official Facebook site and their email customer "service" were rude and snotty. I will never ever order from them again and highly recommend to stay as far a way as possible.
The price of items is very cheap which is good if you need an outfit for one night only etc.
However, the quality of items is so bad! One time I ordered some trousers and throughout their first use (after only a couple of hours), they split completely down the front and for the rest of the night had to be covered by a jacket tied around my waist - not a good look!
I'd rather pay more money for something of better quality as with these clothes your money is wasted on a couple of hours of wear

I live in the us and have ordered items before and it was fine, everything arrived on time. This time i ordered a few things a week ahead of Christmas and chose delivery that would ensure it would be there on Christmas eve. My items never arrived. When i tried to find the number to call to see where my things were i found no number. I emailed as the website suggests and got an automated message followed by an email saying my package had been lost. I responded that i still wanted the items and i was assured they could be reordered and sent express so i would not have to wait another week. I received another email that two items were not in stock, i agreed to just have the other items sent. I got another email that they were being send standard delivery and i wouldn't get them for another week and a half. When i tried to respond and tell them that express delivery was promised since my package was lost by them and not me, i received another automated response and another email telling me AGAIN that the other two items weren't in stock, as if they hadn't read the prior correspondence. I tweeted at the company twice and got no response. I just want my money back at this point because its ridiculous. Upon calling the number to the office i had online the receptionist told me customer service "doesn't have access to phones" and that i should tweet for a quick response (Which i already did). After i insisted that i did everything i was supposed to do and things still weren't working she claimed she had no way to contact anyone from customer service. As a receptionist for a company that seems silly. And downright stupid. Long story short they are fine if there are no problems with delivery, but if there are, you're screwed because there is no way to get a straight answer from customer service.
Ordered a dress on 26 November for my daughter's birthday, paid extra money for extra quick delivery, it is now 28 December and still no sign of the dress. There was apparently something wrong with my address, but was never told what exactly. Gave them the same address, phone number just in case delivery guy had to contact me how to get to my house. Still no sign of my order. It was ignored completely and my order was "closed by system" - whatever it means! Cancelled my order today. They better not have any problems with returning my money! This website is a waste of time. Don't recommend it at all and I will never shop on this website again!
The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. The delivery was extremely slow. The merchandise very poor quality, it looked nothing like the online image and was sized incorrectly. I undoudtedly returned the horrid purchase, only to be told they never received it and would not refund me. I explained the issue and the company would not take it on good will unlike sites like the iconic.
I would strongly advise against ever using this, it brings nothing but the greatest unhappiness and regret
Expected delivery was December 3rd I received it on the 10th. Took about 16 days to get it. I ordered two v-neck sweaters and a sweater dress. The sweater dress is nice, warm, but the material looks like i should throw it in the washing machine or it'll fall apart. The 2 v-neck sweaters are S/M and they are HUGE the v-neck opens up to reach under my boobs. The material is very itchy and looks like it will unravel. I'm keeping the dress but will be returning the sweaters
I ordered 8 lovely dresses from Boohoo with next day delivery. There was apparently a problem with the postcode but we have sent many other orders from other sites using the same address with no problems. Also we were not notified about the problem and therefore were just sat there waiting. It's two weeks later and still no parcel. There is no contact number and the email system is dreadfully slow. We Finally found there Twitter account which was full of negative comments about the customer service. We spoke to a different advisor after every message we sent just to be told the same information each time so they didn't even read any of the previous messages. The only reaso I'm even giving a 1 star (not just because I have to) but because of Dan and Abul who actually helped to make our experience a little less disgraceful. Thanks but no thanks Boohoo never again!
Boohoo has great prices and discounts on their clothing but their delivery process is horrible each time I have ordered its taken almost 3 weeks to receive my clothing so this time I paid an additional $10 to get it here in 6 days because I have an affair to attend tomorrow my package should have been here 3 days ago! I am very upset please order wayyyy ahead of time if your depending on boohoo service!
This company is based in the UK (so if you're ordering in the US make sure you do the proper sizing)! I am a plus size woman, 42DD bra, size 20 pants/dress- I ordered one dress from BooHoo in a size 24 (which is a 20 in US sizes) to test the waters on their sizing- it fit perfectly! This is my new go-to site for ordering clothes. The prices are amazing and shipping is almost always free! True to size, maybe even slightly larger! I highly recommend BooHoo!
I always shop on boohoo for cheap clothes that i need asap! However, I bought a dress one time for a night out that was last minute and it was basically see through! Quality was absolutely crap! Didn't get to wear it though as I ordered it to come next day before 7 o'clock and it didn't come. This meant I had to spend more money on buying another outfit! Theres too many clothes on the website also, so it takes you ages to actually find something thats suitable. Most of the clothes are for frick all also. Would recommend misspap, missguided or pretty little thing. Clothes are as cheap but very high quality and great customer service.
