Web site is easy to use. Part now expected to be delivered 7+ days after order. Quickly found the part I wanted. I needed the part quickly so I paid for expedited shipping. After 1 day, no change in status of my order online. After 2 days, no change in status. After 3 days, no change in status. I called them on the 4th day and they said it was "going out today". On the 5th day their was no status change online. I called them and they said, "The order was stuck". Stuck? I told them I needed 1 of the 5 parts I ordered immediately. It weighed 1.5 pounds. I agreed to pay $45 to get the 1 part sent overnight. I could wait on the other parts via UPS ground. Well, just what showed up via overnight delivery... 2 of the parts I don't need. Guess what was not delivered overnight. The part I need! Oh well, I guess I won't be taking my boat on this vacation. This could have been avoided. Very disappointing.

I ordered a lower unit gear case for my Honda outboard and was told it would ship the next day, then got pushed out 2 weeks and now an additional 3 weeks. Order status say that it would be available first on May 25, then June9th and now June 30. Just bad business to do this to people. Really a bait-n-switch, they say they have the part but they really don't. Buyer beware!

Enjoy doing business With boats.net but like any company there always room for improvements. I ordered my big Tiller for my 60hp Yamaha during trying times when Covid 19 was rampant in Albany Ga. Been using Boats.Net for years and for the most part they have been very reliable. Good genuine factor parts and fair shipping. I especially like the parts breakdown diagram so I know I'm ordering the right stuff. But recently, I am still waiting on an order placed weeks ago. When the order was placed, the advised lead time was 4 - 6 days, but no parts and no followup explanation. Boats.Net did charge me for the parts even though they did not deliver. Disappointing!
