At one time I was a service writer and head mechanic ordering parts directly through mercury and OMC/bombardier the parts I get from boat net thay are fast and usually always in stock rarely ever wait more than a couple days which is as good as local marinas that I deal with but with better prices

I placed a on line order for the wrong part. Once received I realized I ordered the incorrect part and called customer service. The customer service person immediately sent me the correct part along with a return label for the incorrect part that I ordered. As soon as they received the incorrect part my credit card was credited for the returned part. Great people to deal with.

I already wrote one review but I guess you didn't get it. I ordered a starter kit for my Yamaha 0.9 4 stroke. Everything was shipped promptly and I was able to complete the install in about 3 hours. Great instructions in good English. I would definitely use this company again.

Boats.net has supplied our boat /jet ski rental business with replacement parts and accessories for over 6 years. They deliver parts on or before the estimated delivery date, or send an email update with eta if part is backordered due to whatever reason. There is a massive global supply chain issue due to covid & worker shortages which delays some items, no matter where you order them from,
So don't be surprised at the lack of availability of mfg parts. For instance, Our business recently took delivery of 8 new sea Doo jet skiis, (direct from manufacturer, not through boats.net) 2 of which came without the computer control for brakes/reverse, or the physical hardware that module controls, instead SeaDoo included a letter explaining that the chip shortage due to covid is affecting their ability to supply those parts and they would ship when available.
Also, boats. Net shipping is consistently less expensive than other sources, especially on power heads, lower units and other heavy/large items.
I have had nothing but exemplary service from boats.net and recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase boat parts and accys.

Other sites your not sure of getting the right part because of how the customer sees and interprets how he's looking the part up. With boats.net, if you have a model number or serial number for Mercury's you can look up the part and go to the schematics and see the part and part number. With this information I know what part I'm getting and at what price, plus it's an oem part so quality is never an issue. Your site is a very useful tool to us master techs and at home mechanics alike.

I had ordered some seals to rebuild my tilt trim from boats. Net got in the wrong ones, i was in need of the right ones quick so then i went to the dealer and got the right ones. Called up boats.net and they sent out ups pick up label and gave me refund. I will still use them in the future, Things happen..

I have an old 1989 Force outboard, and to say parts are hard to find is an understatement. Fortunately, I found Boats.net because they have many parts I could not find elsewhere.
