Knife Refund

Had to return a Microtech knife because it was impossible to use the thumb studs to open. Customer service was very helpful to get a return and order a similar knife.

Terrible customer service

I've waited a week to receive an update on my order and it never did. Then I sent an email of when my package was going to arrive and it took 5 days to reply. That is just unprofessional and unacceptable service there. From now on I'm sticking with knifecenter. Never ordering from blade hq ever again.

I asked about an order.

Order did not ship as soon as they usually do, so I inquired about it to make sure everything was still good. Good. Got a quick response and shipping cost was refunded for the delay. I was reassured the shipment would ship soon and to contact them again if I had any questions. Great customer service!.

Not a single issue!

I ordered two AKC Swinguard knives both handles in stage one knife with a polished blade and the other with a Damascus blade. Both of them are very well made and everything is nice and tight how it should be on a good automatic. Service was excellent, shipping and packaging was great as well. No issues at all! Will be back for more unique blades soon!

Very little customer focus
October 11, 2023

I ordered an item while it was in stock. Told my son that I got it for his birthday. When the box arrived I wrapped it and he opens it on his birthday only to find the coin missing. It was never put in the box. The other item was in the box. I am now being told that the item is out of stock and BladeHQ didn't hold back any stock for such instances. So I must tell my son he won't get the coin I promised that I had ordered. I've been buying knives and EDC items for years and this is the first time a company hasn't held back stock just in case they make such a mistake. I buy a lot from BladeHQ but this experience has soured me on your company.

Lack of Response Unitl I Cancelled

Order placed. Next day, not in processing. Emailed to find out why. No response. Next day, emailed again because order was still not even in processing. No response. Next, day same thing with no response. Fourth email and another day with no response. Finally, I emailed to cancel the order since no one was responding and order was still stuck, not even at the processing stage.

After cancelling, I received an email three hours later with an apology and the excuse that there was a glitch in the system. Glitch or not, no response to four emails over as many days has nothing to do with a glitch, it is very bad customer service. I have run online ordering systems and I never did not respond. If there was, if ever, a glitch in the ordering system, I was made aware by the customer email, responded to the customer, and completed order processing. Simple.

First time buyer

I purchased a couple of knives from the national knife day sale but after a few days never received a shipping notice. I sent an email to customer service about it and that same afternoon, my knives showed up. Alyssa from customer service replied a couple days later and apologized for her delayed response & refunded my shipping! There was no need to issue the refund but it was a great thing to do with a first time customer. I really appreciated the fast service and willingness to go above and beyond - I will definitely be shopping with you guys again. Thank you.

Never answered my email

My email was never answered, I just received a response asking how my experience was.
I had to start a chat to get my question answered.
Your new inventory system is NOT sending emails when products ship now, I had to log in to find out my purchase shipped. The tracking number link provided in the Accounts page when your logged in doesn't take you to USPS tracking site but back to the blade HQ site instead.

I will never EVER deal with BLADE HQ again! The support i received was of absolutely no help at all. I heard nothing from anyone for days after i ordered and paid for my order, and that was only because i contacted you. I apparently received an shipping upgrade after finally being able to get through to a support team member. After 3 days i called again to inquire as i received nothing to my email. I was told you're having system update issues, which sounds about right for the usual run around. I am then told i can get an upgrade to overnight for the inconvenience, which i accepted. My package has since been shipped. Ground service through Fedex and wont be here for approximately 7 days. I have to laugh at this. Im so disappointed as this was my first dealings with your company. Im not hoing to make or break any company but i have purchased close to $30,000 in knives and related items in this last year alone. DTL & KSF both are absolutely amazing companies from which will never stray again. Take Care, Gary
