Scam
June 26, 2023

Canceled subscription before trial ended. Have been charged $39 for 3 additional months! Deleted the app…emailed numerous times with automated responses. I opened the app back to try to find another way of communication and found that my account said that I was still subscribed. I went through the process of canceling AGAIN. I also took a photo of the page stating that I cancelled this time. I am also beginning a dispute through my credit card company. This is ridiculous!

I would like to request for a refund for charging me after my unsubscription. I subscribed to your app last May 23,2023 and unsubscribed it June 9,2023 before the one month renewal.
I unsubscribed through the BetterMe application and I completed it successfully via email.
I attached photos via email as a proof that I am no longer using your services but I still got charges.

I sent many requests already via email. HOPE YOU CAN REPLY ASAP.

Very difficult app

This App is impossible to navigate. Some examples, I want to change my fasting hours. Impossible. No way to adjust. Trying to add meals. I can't find Breakfast, lunch and dinner, if I bypassed it earlier, with intention to come back. It is not user friendly. And I can not find any way to contact for help. In the beginning, every time I would use it, it immediately asked if I wanted an upgrade or to make additions. In other words they wanted more $$.

The fasting hours can be adjusted right in the tool tab under the Start button on the left side under the circle. Please tap on it in order to edit your fasting start time, then tap Done/Save to save the changes.

Your Meal Plan is in the Foor\Meals section, and each serving is clearly indicated.
You can also use the Calorie Tracking tool in your PLan section to log your own food from the database results or manually log calories.

Any additional service purchases are optional and can be closed (X function) or skipped (Skip button) if they do not interest you or do not suit your needs.

I have tried to leave this app and have been trapped. They continue to take money from me and their reply emails keep saying the same thing! They will not cancel my account they tell me my subscription is active (um yes because you keep taking money from my account!) They then go on to say there are several steps in the cancellation process on my end! Apparently sending them an email and requesting cancellation is not enough nor can you unsubscribe on the app itself! Oh and also in their case email reply I have been told the subscription may not have been cancelled due to some special offers during the cancellation process! It's a trap! They just keep scamming money from your account!

Overall I like the structure of the exercises. However the website is very inconsistent to being able to log in to my account. 50% of the time at login it tells me "oops something happened try again later". Then later using the EXACT login information it works. This is not at all convenient for consistency in work out times. If I don't get it done in the AM I get to busy to do it later.

So, my subscription has been expired since January 5th, I cancelled via the apple App Store, low and behold, I look at my banking app to see my transaction history to see that I was still billed for this on June 5th. I have tried cancelling it through the site and app to no avail, I have emailed them and have yet to receive a response. Upon looking up the issue, I am not the only person that this has happened to. I am a broke college student, so I am of course a bit enraged to see that my money was practically being taken from me without my knowledge. I urge BetterMe to respond to my emails and cancel my subscription, and perhaps even go as far as to give me my money back that was charged to my account since January 5th.

This is probably the most convenient, practical and irreplaceable application of all that I know. With the Better me app, I learned how to eat properly, monitor my diet. I feel just great, my weight has returned to normal. I really like that with the Betterme app, you can study at home, without a coach. This is the biggest plus for me

This Company Is a Scam

I have tried to cancel my subscription, but like many others here, BetterMe are not willing to allow you to do so. They make you go round and round the mulberry bush and you end up nowhere.
I have advised my bank to list this company as a scam.
I am going to spread this company name all over the net to ensure as many people as possible will see that they are crooks and avoid them like the plague.
I have had to cancel my card to stop them from taking more money out of my account.
As for the the company CEO, Victoria Repa, you should be ashamed of yourself, allowing your company to operate like this.
Shame on you.

I wrote for help with a customized program (willing to pay) and the response was to "unsubscribe" from their platform... Very telling of their need for $$$ over helping someone with a customized program with their program and expertise.

This BetterMe app maps out each workout visually so you can physically see what to do and as a visual learner. Although it gives you a lot of services like, easily using, gives you what your body need of food and vitamins, easily explain of exercises so over all makes a health lifestyle so highly recommend!

I signed up in January and had issues logging in. This went on for several weeks until my first month at $30.99. I emailed for them to cancel and signed up for a different service provider. I just noticed I was still being charged and reached out again to ask them to cancel my subscription. I called paypal to cancel the subscription and decided to try and repurchase the services because I feel like I wanted to try it. I was charged again for the trail but still was unable to log in, at this point I wanted a refund. I I received an email explaining how i could log into my app to cancel subscription. Apparently they didn't READ the part that I was unable to log into my account. However, I think they were being deceptive because right after that email I went to log in and prior to that email the box for my password was grayed out, but now suddenly worked. I assume they cancelled my subscription and are just going to keep the monthly service fees for the months I was not able to log in.

I bough only a meal plan and had my bank account details used to subscribe to a plan. I have not received the plan or was given any instruction on anything. Now, they say that I have to go to the website and find the plan. This is after contacting many times, but got a response after I given a bad review. By the way, it supposed to be a personalised plan... They offered today to refund 1/3 of what has been taken. A "refund" for something that was never bought or, maybe, for a "personalised plan" that I never saw.
