Never been so disappointed! All there jewerly is NOT 925! Received a Barcelona candle. The scent was pleasant but smaller than expected and the wick wasn't in the middle like it should be... I thought well maybe the ring will make my $25 candle worth it. NOT EVEN CLOSE! The ring was too big and is clearly not only boring and small but it wasn't even silver! The ring didn't even have a code for value. I sent customer arrive a picture and they said it was worth $10(not even sure that is possible because it's not silver) and of course the description of the candle said my ring should be a classic ring worth $15-$5000... which even if it was worth $10 it is still less then the candle description stated. Customer service is a joke!
Bella candle don't know how to fix there mistake if they put the wrong candles they should be responsible to correct it but they don't want to pay for the shipping & handling of the candles they knowingly but in my package because they ran out of Paris candle and they did this in two different orders I know I won't be ordering ever again I'm going g to try diamond candle now
Back in October I wrote to bella because I did not received my full order, I ordered 3 separate candles and paid for them and only received 2 and they were the same ones... still waiting
I joined their "so called" club with 30 day trial fee of $4.99 October 5,2015. Never received candle. October 22,2015 go to bank and find out I am overdrawn! Come to find out that Bella Candles had charged my account $49.99 for a full subscription to club. Because of this charge my bank charged me $39.00. I contacted them and after numerous emails and posts on FB I was finally contacted by someone and they refunded the $4.99 and the $49.99. OK, that's all fine and dandy but I am still out $39.00 because of their bad business practices. I am still trying to pursue them for a refund. My advice if you want a candle, go to the store! BAD, BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES and very bad service!
I was part of their club. They were to send candles every other month. This was fine until i got laid off. I called and canceled and was told it was and I would NOT be charged any more. Two weeks later I was charged so I called and left a message for them. They instructed me to not open the package and to just send it back unopened. I did as instructed. They have NEVER returned my money and are charging me a restocking fee for a mistake they made for sending it to me in the first place after I canceled it. They now are also telling me I needed to take a picture of the package unopened before sending it back with the tracking number. I think they should be able to track this package from the original shipping track number they assigned it and should give back the full 49.99 they owe me since it was their mistake in sending me the package I canceled prior to them even sending this out. Bad business. Can't talk to anyone in person on phone and can only leave a message where they will only email you back and not call to personally take care of the situation. DO NOT BECOME A CLUB MEMBER! MAYBE NOT EVEN ORDER FROM THEM!
I have never written a review for any company before but ordering Bella Candles has been one of the worst decisions I have ever made. What a complete waste of money! I ordered 4 candles, 2 large and 2 small. I anxiously awaited their arrival and when they did 3 of them were in pieces with glass everywhere. I notified the company and I will admit the customer service was good but these candles are terrible. They smell fine in the jar but when burning you don't smell anything at all. Besides that they don't burn evenly and before you know it it's so uneven it won't burn at all until you cut out the uneven wax. The wicks are so poorly placed that after burning a couple of hours the flame goes out and again, you have to dig around to try to find it and hopefully you can get it to burn again. As for the jewelery. It's a joke. A gimmick to get you to buy the candles. I've ordered many candles in my day. These by far are the worst. If you want a good candle that smells amazing go with Yankee Candle or Bath and Body works. They're the same price and the quality is so much better there's no comparison!
Believe me, if I could give a zero review, I would. My wife ordered their "free" promotional candle from the website and only paid shipping back on the 2nd of this month. Still have not received anything from them, and now they've charged her $49.99 and $2.99 twice in one week for their "candle of the month club." She did not sign up for this, and never received any information about it.
She contacted the company, got a call back, and was basically told that she would not receive a refund because her candles had shipped. When she asked to speak with a manager/supervisor, or owner, they were all conveniently out of town on business... riiiight.
We've spoken with her bank to reverse these charges, have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and we're currently seeking legal council to file a lawsuit.
So, if you decide to order from this company, be sure to keep an eye on your account.
P.S. - Dont say anything bad about them regarding these matters on their Facebook page, because they'll delete it and block you from commenting there.
I'm seeing all of these horrible reviews about Bella Candles. I remember receiving an email for a free candle and I was excited to order it and I saw I had to pay shipping which I didn't mind. I read the fine print that said it will charge you monthly for a membership (which a lot of people didn't read from the looks of the previous posts) so I decided not to order it because it's not free at all if you have to pay shipping and monthly membership. I recently got an E-mail saying I won $15 gift certificate but I'm skeptical about the quality of the jewelry and if it's a safe site to put my information on.
Candle smells very. N>ce but the ring inside had no code to see how much it was worth I'd say maybe 10$ the size is enormous I wear a 4 and this ring is about a 7 very disappointed I'll stick with the fragrant jewels they at least have a c [! E to leet you know how much it's worth that's part of the fun not really woth kit smelled London pretty nice but didn't last as long as the fragrant jewles
I have bought 2 candles and they can in a very timely manner, not broken and with beautiful sterling silver rings! I will be getting these candles as gifts now as well!
I ordered 2 candles from Bella Candles, they were on sale so I bought 2, one is called Lovely Paris and the other is Fabulous Amsterdam, both smell wonderful. I recieved my candles within a week of ordering and they packaged them well, nothing broken. I am going to let them burn naturally until I find the ring package, that is the bonus. They both were only $9.99 each, which is a normal price for a candle this size and quality. Do not understand what all the fuss is about.
I ordered their "free" candle back in January. Well this is August and I got charged $49.99 and $2.99 and was told I was signed up in their candle of the month club. I never agreed to that. Contacted the company and was told they would cancel the subscription I never signed up for and refund my money in 5-7 business days. It's well past that. Many phone calls, emails produced nothing but a screen shot of the refund amount that doesn't tell me anything. You call the company and they never call back, they don't respond to emails. Filed a complaint with the BBB. They have a negative rating with them and 68 complaints. Now I am on the 2nd hour with my credit card company disputing the charge and will be contacting the Attorney General's office about this. I have half a mind to start a class action lawsuit because of all the time I have wasted trying to get my money back. Do not even attempt to buy from them. They are a total scam.
I liked this company on Facebook a while back but I hadn't needed a candle. When the free offer came around, I thought it would be perfect to try out their company PLUS they had a Rome candle which was going to be perfect for my anniversary. When I placed the order I payed about $3 for shipping, which wasn't so bad. It took WEEKS for the candle to arrive and no one would respond to me with where my order was. When it finally did come, it wasn't the right candle, totally defeating the purpose. I tried to tell them this, but no one would respond to me. And the one who did, basically told me to wait for a manager, and then hung up. When I tried to return it and either get what I ordered or just finish this, they told me they'd refund me ONLY if I paid for shipping back! Basically I'd be spending more money so they can get some of their stock back.
That's not the worst of it though. I took a look at my credit card and There was an extra $5 posted. NO WHERE in the email did it say I signed up for anything. Apparently they squeeze it into the terms and conditions, but I didn't see any charges there either. When I called my credit card to dispute, they told me they had complaints about Bella Candles in the past and told me to change my credit card info asap because it was a scam. This was a waste of my time and energy. I'm so glad I checked my account when I did or I'd be getting charged monthly from these crooks!
Plus, there is no code with my ring, which is very clearly NOT sterling silver.
Do not order! They do not post all of the negative reviews they get on their site or on Facebook. And for all of those that say Mia Bella Candles or whatever is the problem, not Bella Candles, they're working for Bella Candles. I'm not confused. I know who scammed me. This place is awful and the customer service is nasty and unresponsive. Your patronage doesn't matter to them because they have other scams to run.
DO NOT BUY!
Their website claims their jewelry is sterling silver. I ordered two products from them and neither ring was sterling silver. I emailed them multiple times with no response. I messaged them on facebook with a generic response about how the products I ordered were trial products and didn't contain sterling silver rings. No attempt to fix the situation. I posted a message on their facebook page about bad customer service, which has been deleted. I have posted negative reviews about their products, which I can't find on the website. From all of the complaints I have read about BellaCandles on other sites, it seems very odd to me that their website has such high (4 1/2-5 stars) reviews about their products. Something fishy is going on!
I ORDERED A PROMOTIONAL CANDLE THEN SENT AN EMAIL TO CANCELL ANY FURTHER ORDERS. THE PHONE NUMBER THEY HAVE LISTED IS TO A PERSONAL AGENCY IN CALIFORNIA WHO TOLD ME THEY ARE FLOODED WITH CALLS ABOUT THESE CANDLES. I EMAILED THEM TO CANCELL AND THEY SENT IT ANTWAY AND CHARGED ME 50.00 ON MY CARD. THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS CALL YOUR BANK AND REPORT THE FRAUD WHICH I DID AND THEY REFFUNDED MY MONEY AND ARE GOING TO INVESTIGATE THE COMPANY. IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR AGGREVATION BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO PUT A STOP ON MY CARD AND GET A NEW ONE. MY ADVISE IS STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
I didn't order from here & ended up with a package in the mail a lg candle and small one & soap. The candles smelled great but where broken! I'm not happy at all getting charged for $#*! I'm not even buying! Bull $#*!! Rings where fake, but did get a $15 pair of earrings Still doesn't even out for random charge to my card-.-
Do not buy candles from these people they tell you in the ads that every candle comes with a stamped. 925 Sterling silver ring what they don't tell you is that the special edition candles do not come with a code or a Sterling silver ring I bought one and when I got my ring it was not silver and did not come with a code when I contacted them they proceed to tell me that the special candles do not come with a Sterling silver ring or code they told me to take my ring to a jewler to have it appraised when I told them I did and that I found out that this ring was not. 925 Sterling silver then they proceed to tell
Me that the special candles and soaps etc do not have Sterling silver rings this was nothing but a rip off and I have contacted them several times to get a refund and they are giving me the run around they are bull$#*!
I'm a big fan of Diamond Candles but I kept getting emails for Bella Candles. I always ignored them until one day I got an email saying if I tried the candles I could use a $15 off coupon. I figured what the heck. The day after I ordered my candle (which was $9.99 after the coupon but an additional $9.95 for shipping and handling, which of course they didn't mention until after I entered payment), I got a call from my bank. They said there was an unauthorized charge on my card of over $60. I had to cancel my card and get another one. Only place I used my card... bellacandles.com. Despite paying $10 for shipping, it took two weeks to arrive and it was the tiniest little thing. No way I will EVER order from them again! I'll stick to Diamond Candles.
These products are over priced, and false advertised. The Rings are NOT sterling silver they are FAKE. Stay away!
Worst company and yes it is bella candles whoever keeps saying it is another candle company must sell for Bella. They are horrible, I spent $30 to return all the unwanted crap they sent with a promise of shipping getting returned as well as the price of the candles then they tried to bargin with me on the candle refund. I went to the Better Business where they once again promised a shipping refund, then even quit responding to them. This company does sell candles and you will get signed up for an automatic reship, if that is what you want great, however if you don't want $50 charged to your card every month and you don't want to have horrible customer service then don't order even one thing from here.
Answer: Thanks for your message, Please email [email protected] to better assist you with your concern. Thanks!
Answer: Try facebook. That's how I got a response after submitting pics and review pics I posted everywhere... they offered to replace the candles bc they were broken instead I did a charge back and blocked all payments coming from them and sent a nasty email to the head of the company. But it took me 4 months and numerous attempts b4 I tried facebook... I think I left a negative review on facebook too
Bella Candle offers candle scents with rings inside and codes in every ring that give all customers the chance to win prizes such as vouchers and rings worth up to $5000.
