Bought 2.1 for my daughter for Christmas and 1 for myself. Both arrived with the glass jar broken. The bottom of both TOTALLY fell off. My daughter got a ring that turned her finger green. I got a cheap pair of EARRINGS? YES earrings that were worth 10$. I wouldnt of taken em for free. The jewelry was bubble gum machine quality at best. Ill order from Jewel Scents from now on. Their rings dont turn skin green and are much prettier. And where the earrings came into play i have no idea. Shame on you Bella candle company. You are ripping people off!
I'm a benifit of the doubt buyer. I've ordered three times from them. First candle I ordered. It was over a week before I finally sent an email/called what number I could find, asking where's my order. Almost 2 weeks before I got it. It was the light pink $19.99 one, it smelled really good and the smell would linger after put out. The ring was cute, bigger size. But my finger turned green after a few hours.
I later ordered the "Tarts" I know I read the details of what they were, but I was under the empress ion they were like wax samples of their snells. When I smelled them they barley had a smell, a few did I will say. I then went to use them in my burner, and I hardly got a smell and they have to be cut out of the plastic containers.
Most recent purchase. I got a $15 dollar off coupon, kinda wanted a new candle and to shoot for a better ring. So I bought the orangeish yellow $19.99, again took two weeks to get here. I had to deal with customer service a few times. The candle smells okay, nothing strong. Finally got the ring out last night, it was cute. It was late so I wore it all night to see, and sure enough my finger was green. I'm assuming your most likely gonna get cheap costume jewelry when you oder these. Maybe if I ordered a more expensive candle Ill have a better chance, but probably won't be ordering again.
Ordered a vanilla candle and they sent me a vanilla protein shake. Then it took a week and multiple emails and would only send me the original candle I ordered not even an apology letter or anything. Not worth the headache.
Bought a promo candle free, just paying shipping. A few weeks later, another box showed up. I checked my bank and realized I was charged $49.99 + shipping for an order I did not place.
I immediately emailed the company teinh them I didn't want an auto-ship program, and I am returning the box.
I waited and waited for my refund. After numerous emaiis over several weeks, still no REFUND!
I opened a case with the BBB. Their response to the case was they would be mailing me a check today!
Again, I waited and waited. NO CHECK!
I finally emailed "Tradecal" their home company I suppose. That website showed my case "closed". WTF! SO I let them know, it is not resolved.
I again reopened my case with the BBB.
Next I will go to my bank
This company should be ashamed treating customers like this is horrible!
I was ripped off by bella candles. Buyer beware. There's tons of reports of them ripping people off. I bought 2 candles. When I got them, one was totally broken, and glass was everywhere, I cut my fingers real bad when I opened it. After jumping through hoops to get a replacement, they finally said they sent my replacement candle out, via usps. I waited, n waited. Then waited some more. Finally I got on Usps to track the package using the tracking number they provided, and Usps said there is no such package. I tried a couple different places, and contacted both major delivery services. Neither know of this package. Tomorrow is xmas eve, and still no package. So I guess my little sister, who is very sick with cancer mind you, will not be getting her xmas gift from me. So not only did I waste money, but now I have to disappoint a sick child. What a shame. I've tried to fix this issue many times, with no response from the company. Save your money people. If your going to buy one, then do it off eBay or Amazon so at least you will get your money back if (when) there's a problem
They have been charging me $50 for the past three months, and again this month but it was $100! And every time I call u never get an answer!
This company is a complete ripoff! The costumer service is extremely rude and will only contact you through email. They are out for your money and nothing else. The "free candle" will cost you $50 a month after you sign up for a monthly plan that you had no idea about. They will not refund your money until you eventually receive a candle and you ship it back and at that point they will charge a $15 reshipment fee. They spoke to me as if I am an idiot. I hope this company gets put out of business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I thought I was just buying a one day sale to get a candle for 4.99 and just pay shipping. I received the candle. Only paperwork with it was shipping info. Two weeks later I have 49.99 deducted from my account. They don't answer phone calls. Only emails. I have read many reviews saying the same thing. They didn't know it signed you up for a month club. There is no info anywhere on their site or internet about what this club really is. Rip off. I wish I would of read reviews first! Very mad and broke!
I became a rep for this company and it is the biggest mistake that I ever made as their customer service is not helpful at all. I know that there are others that are having problems as well. They owe me money from the candles that I sold from my rep page and won't pay me for it. It's not even a lot of money but I earned it. So please don't order so this company can go out of business cause it is not ok for them to not take care of their customers first and for most.
I ordered the scented wax sample pack. What I received was a beautiful box with "Old" wax samples that had an old wax smell to them. I payed about $10.00 for them. When I contacted customer service to return them, they said if the wax is not "Damaged " I could not return them. So even if you get "Defective or "Old" candles with no scent you can Not return them.
This company is a scam.
The rings are cheep and the small stones fall out of the settings. So don't be pulled in by the prize because it's not worth the price.
My candles arrived with only one layer of paper around them, so the containers were shattered. I cut myself unwrapping them. When I emailed Customer Service, including pictures of the shattered candles in their box, I received a terse message asking for pictures of the broken candles and the box they were shipped in - apparently they don't actually pay attention to the emails they receive - and they would provide additional instructions at that time. I will not be ordering from them again and will be seeking a refund rather than a replacement. I'm really disappointed because the candles smell great.
What a joke. Ordered 3 different candles. Got the same chessy Dollar store looking earring in each candle. And the candles DONOT burn even. Will not order from them again.
This place is a rip off my finger is green and it never came with a slip to tell me what it's worth it's fake already know that much my fingers green didn't contacted trish and she would ignore my questions
Do not order from this company. Back in October, I order a $1 promotional candle. I recieved it in a few weeks. No biggie. Next thing I knew, my back account had a $49.99 & & $2.99 charge. I called customer support, left a message and some Spanish lady called me back a few days later. She said I subscribed. I argued with this woman for a few minutes and ended the conversation by demanding she send me an email of the terms and conditions and I wanted it circled or highlighted where a cash membership was mentioned. Still no email. That conversation happened the day after Thanksgiving last week. I have since called my bank and filed a fraudulent charge thing. My bank will get money back soon. My card was also canceled and I am waiting on my new one to come in the mail right now. This company needs to go out of business.
Great advice, Thank you everyone SO much for your advise, I almost bought from this company, your reviews made me change my mind fast! I will stay with Diamond Candles, they are awesome.
I ordered a promotional candle in June, and immediately emailed to cancel any subscription. Fast forward 5 months, and I got charged for a membership and was sent candles. I emailed telling then there was a mistake and that I'd like to be refunded immediately. 'Sheva' said that because I emailed 'Emily', who is evidently not a real person and is automated, and I didn't email support directly, that its my fault and there is nothing they will do. I sent her my original email that said I wanted to cancel, but it was still my fault. She said I could send the package back, but they wouldn't refund the full amount because of a restocking fee. I've asked Sheva MULTIPLE times to talk to a supervisor or manager, but she continues to refuse my request. I am DISGUSTED with this company. They need to go out of business. They make money by ripping people off. The candles are not worth the money! And the rings inside are a joke. Im so mad at how disrespectful this company has been. I'm opening a case with my bank to get my money back. This is ridiculous.
I ordered 7 candles for Christmas gifts they were in a big box with very little paper and all were broken... i requested a refund and wanted to send this crap back to them... and i received an email saying go put the candles you want in your cart and put in a code. And you wont have to pay again... uh... they completely ignored my request... so lets hope the next ones are packaged better!
This company is $#*!. I tried ordering a candle when they offered it for free & just pay the $2.99 shipping. I never received that candle... thought maybe it was just a fluke or something. These things happen. So when I saw them offering the free candle again, I ordered it again. Paid the $2.99 shipping. This time I received my candle. Cool. Finally reached the ring inside, and there is no code to search for the value or anything, even though they advertise that all candles have a code to be able to search the value of your ring. The ring isn't stamped or anything. I'd say it's worth about $5. Kind of a disappointment, but whatever. I'm only out 3 bucks. Then all of a sudden I have a $49.99 pending charge on my account from BellaCandles. I tried getting ahold of customer service. Only able to do so through email, which is quite slow and frustrating. So according to customer service, purchasing the free candle signed me up for their membership. I don't remember signing up for any membership, nor agreeting to a membership during the purchase of either candle, because I can assure you I would have passed on the free candle. So I asked them to please cancel my subscription. I do not want it. They canceled my subscription and litreally the next morning the charge on my account went through. I contacted customer service again asking for a refund and they replied to me saying that they can't give a refund because the transaction went through "before I requested cancelation"and that the candles have already been shipped. Now I want to know, if getting the free candle signed me up for a membership, why wasn't I charged the $49.99 during the months between the first candle purchase and the second?
Answer: Thanks for your message, Please email [email protected] to better assist you with your concern. Thanks!
Answer: Try facebook. That's how I got a response after submitting pics and review pics I posted everywhere... they offered to replace the candles bc they were broken instead I did a charge back and blocked all payments coming from them and sent a nasty email to the head of the company. But it took me 4 months and numerous attempts b4 I tried facebook... I think I left a negative review on facebook too
Bella Candle offers candle scents with rings inside and codes in every ring that give all customers the chance to win prizes such as vouchers and rings worth up to $5000.
