I tried to purchase a LV handbag. I ordered it w/o incident and within hours received an email stating I needed to call within 48 hours or my purchase would be cancelled. The email stated they needed more info to verify my purchase. I called the number that was transferred to another number and left a message. A woman returned my call saying I needed to email them something to prove my address. A DL or utility receipt. I told her I would not send any further personal information
To an email address I could not verify and she said they would not complete the order without further information. So I cancelled the order. The phone call originated from. Seattle. I have shipped online for years and I have never had a legitimate company call me and ask me for something like that. I will contact BBB In Seattle about this also

I am glad I didn't read the reviews before I ordered my purse or it would have scared me off. I received my bag on the exact day they said I would. The condition was even better than the pics. If possible! Beautifully and carefully shipped. I ordered a Gucci bag that came out in 2015, I was well aware of that and since Gucci is never out of style I ordered a Guccissima Britt Hobo in medium size. GORGEOUS! I am sure it is not always a good experience for some but for me I will buy from them again!

In my opinion, save your money for a few months and buy the bag yourself. I hardly carried my bag as I was worried I would stain it and would have to buy it anyway! Not worth the money, horrible customer service. Here's a tip for them: add optional insurance when people borrow!

I opted to rent a Neverfull LV bag from Bag Borrow Steal. I looked forward all day to opening my purchase but when I did I saw a plastic purse, with no tags, no LV serial number and worse of all the entire inside was red. Obviously the legit bags do not look like the one I received. Even fake LV imposter bags at the swap meet looked better.

So, I shipped it back as a return. I contacted customer service and they said they would not charge me for the next month and I could get my refund. 2 weeks later I am still awaiting any word about my refund and I have left 3 voicemails and 4 emails. It seems they are ignoring me.

This company is NOT legit. They MAY sell authentic bags, but NONE of the bags they rent are real. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. If you're thinking about renting or even buying a bag for cheap, visit Tradesy. They have 100% authentic bags that are used on there for as low as $200.

I've been a registered customer with them since 2008 but had never bought or borrowed anything until this past month. I bought an LV monogram shawl in pink; it was on sale for only $200 something. Since I have another one in blue which I purchased from LV store for full price, I was confident to say that the pink one I purchased from BBS is authentic and just as gorgeous. I got so many compliments from it and I love it. The packaging was perfect and professional and the shipping was fast and traceable. It was 5 stars all the way.

Yesterday during their 30% sale of sales, I placed two more orders: I bought a Tiffany necklace and rented an LV bag. The purchase went through quickly and I got an email asking me to call back to provide my SSN in order for them to do a credit check on me for the rental. I was hesitant and I remembered the reason I hadn't borrowed anything from them since 2008 when I signed up as a member. However, I decided to trust them and gave them my SSN over the phone and the order went through. We'll see how that goes. I'll definitely be writing a follow up review of my second purchase and my first rental. Hope this is helpful.

I have been selling to this company for 2 years, never had a problem getting paid a week after I send in products, exactly what they say they will pay. I recently bought a few bags for the first time and they were exactly as pictured on site. No surprises. I bought a black Gucci bag that retails for 2100+tax for $950. Brand new condition still for sale on the gucci website... black platform Jimmy Choos.$250 brand new condition I was pleasantly surprised, because they are shoes but they were perfect and retail on NM site for 795+tax. I also bought a Balenciaga retail 1895+tax at NM... only $766 on this site. Most of the stuff I sent in was in brand new condition and authentic. I cant believe there are all these negative reviews... they are not true... This is a trustworthy site.

9/15 I received my order from Bag Borrow or Steal, I ordered a Chanel bag that had been marked down to 30% off. Before ordered, I did my research on the company and I saw the beware reviews but I ordered anyway, because I have ordered with companies like Luxdh and had no problems, great company to work with and they are very honest. The Chanel bag was nothing like the picture, it was old smelly, and I don't even know what I will do with the purse. This company will only give you a merchandise credit for something else if you spend more money, that's crazy. I'm very unhappy I cried when I got the purse, I could have gotten a new from LV. I want to return it, but I'm so scared that all their purses are in bad condition. They are not a honest company, and I will NEVER shop with them again. I might have lost $1300, but they will thousands because I will tell everyone I know not to shop with them.

May 21,2016 I ordered a Burberry bag online with 20% discount. Two days before delivery date I received an email saying they had 'questions about my account' and to call the 1-888 number. I called it twice and left v/m. They cancelled the order but the money has NOT been returned. Now the bag is twice the price.
How do I get my money back? This site is horrible. And there is no one ALIVE to talk to there.
I bought from them 2 years ago and it was a totally different experience. It's gone downhill. BUYER BEWARE.

I bought a bag from this company, the $1,200 was taken out of my account in minutes. I paid for overnight delivery, I took the day off so I could be home to sign for the bag. Well, I arrive home this evening and have an email from them stating they need additional information and if I don't call them they will CANCEL my order. But wait, you have my full and correct address and payment in full. I'm a new customer! Why did you not call me? You have my phone number. You have all my information and my money and all I have is a rude threatening email. I had to get my bank involved in this shady transaction. BUYER BEWARE, THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE. Praying I get my money back.

My sister ordered a purse that she saw on their website and was sent a totally different and much cheaper purse in its place! She contacted the company and they advised her that the purse that she ordered had been sent to someone else! They did not even care to allow her to select a purse of equal value!
I would NEVER buy from this company! Who ever heard of a website switching out the item that you ordered with something completely different?!
If you order from them you never know what you will be getting!

The company sent me a confirmation email to state that my order was received. The next thing I know a couple days later I had a voicemail from the company stating they'd like to ask me a few questions please call back. I called back that day. No one answered the customer service line even though I called three times and was on hold for several minutes. I decided to leave a message stating that I was returning a call regarding an order I placed. I left my number and requested that someone call me back before COB. NO one called me back. I called again the next day and they informed me that they had cancelled my order! It doesn't even begin to make sense. That was my first and last time ordering from this company.

I received a confirmation email for 2 bags I was purchasing from bbos. 1 bag was on sale, the other I was paying their price... BUT I had a 20% promo code for signing up to receive emails from them. Yay! I was getting one of the bags for a really great price! It raised a flag, they deleted the account (saying it was a duplicate account. Not so, BBOS). They told me I could still get the bags, but in the mean time the one bag was no longer on sale and the other one was no longer available. I found both bags at Fashionphile for the about the same price I was going to pay at BBOS. I wrote them an email, no response! Beware, you spend thousands with them,

I guess they got uptight over a 20% discount?! Honestly, their prices are inflated on many of the Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags to cover what the seller's get and their fee. You can find authenticated luxury bags and accessories, for better prices at Fashionphile, therealreal, and LuxDH, just sayin'.

I found BBOS by googling. I've always wanted to own an LV and was looking for an affordable one - didn' matter if it was pre-loved. I purchased my first LV from them and I am very pleased with my purchase. The bag looked like it's brand new with very very minor scuff marks on bottom. I saved tons of money (there was an extra 15% off) that day. Shipping was fast. No problems encountered with BBOS. I will purchase from them again.

I made a purchase on bagborroworsteal.com and never had rented any of the bags or bought there before, so i was a little skeptical. I just got my bag today and absolutely love it. Its condition was marked as "preloved" but I think it seems actually a little better than that to be honest... Leather is broken in a little and very soft. I tried another consignment site a couple of weeks ago for the same bag and the quality was not as good... I don't want to say it was fake, but I had to return it because it wasn't what I was expecting.

I would recommend Bagborroworsteal to friends based on my experience with this purchase!
