My husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday. When he place the order they sent them to the wrong place in a different City 5 hrs away. He called to cancel because I was no longer at work and they refused. This was a mistake on their part and they refuse to give my husband his money back. Very poor customer service. They did not honor customer satisfaction. We will make sure not to use their service again.
These people should not be allowed to have this business. They delivered dead flowers when that's not what I ordered.of course. The first photo I'm addi g is what I ordered and the second photo is what was delivered
Wanted to send my dad flowers because his father passed away. I paid for expedited shipping. The flowers never showed up. We called a total of 5 times trying to get resolved. They told me they would have it delivered first thing the next day. I told them to call my dad or ring door bell and if they never answered it that they could leave on porch. They never did any of that. My dad never received. $120 bouquet plus the $$ to expedite and never got them. Absolutely horrible service. I would never recommend them to anyone!
If I could give a 0 star I would. My sister bought me flowers for my birthday and after sending her a picture of what I got compared to what she ordered is a huge upset. I don't know how they are still in business. But don't order from here. The top is what I got and the bottom is what was advertised.
I ordered a very nice, large arrangement for a memorial service. Shortly after I placed the order, they told me the arrangement was unavailable, and said they would upgrade the order at no extra charge. The delivered arrangement turned out to be maybe 1/3 the size I ordered, and the flowers weren't fresh. I am furious! Photos are ordered vs. delivered.
Do not use Avis flowers they do not deliver on time they do not stand behind there money back guarantee complete trash
I ordered "She's got Style She's got grace" arrangement. It was advertised as a.tall vase FILLED with big pink roses, small pink roses, tons of purple statice and smaller gerbera.looking pink daisies. What was delivered was a short round vase filled with a lot of green shrubbery, 3 large.pink roses, twk clumps of phlox, carnations and some smaller hairy looking flowers. I ordered the size "as shown" which looked full and vibrant" when I called to state my disappointment they said that the flowers are to be close to what is shown but will not be exact. They actually name the flowers that will be used in the description. That is not what was delivered. I will not be using them again. Go elsewhere. I could have picked this arrangement.myself.from my yard...
For my daughter's surprise delivery, they did not delivery the balloon (that I was charged for) and the flower bouquet was nothing like the one I ordered. Neither the vase nor the flowers were even close to what I ordered. Not only that but I ordered the large bouquet and they only delivered 8 flowers! And LOTS of green leaves. When I called to complain, they promised that they would redeliver. 20 days after, I am still waiting. I just called again to follow up and they hang up on me. SO my advice, stay as far away as possible from AvasFLowers.net (see attached pictures)
It was embarrassing enough not getting my flowers on Valentines Day…. But then they delivered them a week late! How embarrassing is that truly I do not recommend this company they are just a middle man and from what I've read online they have problems all the time. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Placed a $120 order with specific instructions to deliver to a celebration of life ceremony on a certain day. Received an email that it was delivered. NEVER WAS DELIVERED. Spent hours on the phone trying to get a refund and protested with our CC company instead. They keep calling and emailing and asking for reviews and offering to re-deliver. This was for an event at a business. Morons. They are all foreign and they don't care AT ALL. I spoke to multiple people and they take advantage of people at their lowest hour. NO same day delivery. No delivery at all! I cannot believe they are still in business!
This company is not local but they advertise to make it look like they are in your area. Flowers weren't fresh. Barely lasted 5 days. They added about $40 in service charges to a $60 order. Flowers didn't even come in a vase as ordered. They just tied them with a string. Such a rip off. For $100 you could do so much better for a bouquet of small roses (not long stem). My husband wanted to do something nice and he feels terrible at what they sent for the money he paid. It's the thought that counts but save your money if you're looking for something special.i repeat this is not a $100 bouquet of flowers.
Order for flower arrangement was placed 02/11/24 for delivery 02/15/24. Somewhat irritated by additional $24.95 service charge plus $9.99 delivery fee (later waived) plus sales tax, not apparent till check out (delivery fee was promoted as FREE DELIVERY). This increased the price $59.99 to $89.61 (50%, even with free delivery!)
Email notification 02/15/24, some items (basket and plants as depicted) not available, to be replaced with equivalent or greater value. 4 day delay in notification, but accepted. Another email on 02/16/24, cannot deliver as ordered, please call. Not willing to call and spend waiting time on automated call centre, asked for full refund. Confirmation received promptly, now waiting to see how long refund takes. Very very disappointed, as flowers were for daughter's birthday. She just recently moved to WI from Australia. AvaFlowers spoilt it for both of us. Will never use again or recommend.
Avoid at all costs! Only order if you want an arrangement that doesn't represent the photo, delivered to the WRONG PLACE, and delivered 3 days late. Fraud, they put in their system and emailed my husband on WEDNESDAY 2/14 that the arrangement was delivered but on FRIDAY 2/16, today I was called by a stranger to tell me that my flowers has been abandoned at the wrong place and wanted to know if I still wanted them. I wasn't at work but at home. I later received a call from their "customer service" and he and I spent a good amount of time arguing over the address and the fact that the company falsified delivery information. I had to remind the customer service person that I know the address of my work and I seem to be able to find my way there without any issue and don't arrive 3 days late and to the wrong place.
After I promised that I was going to leave reviews and contact the BBB, he said he would reach out to the sender to make it better.
He called my husband and tried to scam him into another arrangement.
Please avoid this company. Save your money and buy from the guys selling on the streets, they're not trying to scam you like these theives.
Ordered flowers for Valentines' Day delivery on February 5, my credit card was billed that same day. There was no delivery on Valentines' Day, or at least through mid-day on the 15th, despite the fact they were reporting as delivered (reported 6:56 delivery against a 7:00 deadline, suspicious?). Tried to reach customer service from Wednesday evening to mid-day Friday - unable to reach a person, just using automated system (which repeats their erroneous delivery occurred).
Additionally, when I Googled looking for a local florist, they came up. They are not local - they are national, and apparently contract to local florists for purchases.
As of this writing, I have not received any feedback. They received one star only because the system would not process zero starts.
This place Avas flowers SUCKS! I ordered flowers for valentines day, and the flowers arrived 3 days later, I tried to cancel the order but, nobody answers the phone. When the flowers did arrive it was the wrong order, the flowers were dead and looked like a kindergarten child tried to put them together, the card that I ordered to go with the flowers was not there.
You would be better off going to a grocery store or a graveyard for flowers rather than this joke of a florist.
Stay clear of these imbecils. BIG waste of money!
My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with flowers for Valentines Day so he ordered in the 13th. They never came. On the 14th didn't arrive either. He wrote a review and they emailed him saying they would come on the 15th… never came. Worst customer service never answered the phone. And now when you call it's on auto saying they closed for the holidays. Don't purchase from them ever! We want a refund
My significant other ordered from Ava's for Valentines Day and it was a bust! He ordered Fri 2/9 and was told the flowers would be delivered between the 13th and 14th, I didn't get them until the 15th and they look nothing like the arrangement he picked out, nor did I get the personalized message he wanted to send with it. He knows I love Tulips and wanted to surprise me. Let's just say my Valentines was ruined 😔 Here's a picture of what he wanted vs what I got...
I received a text message my flowers were delivered. I never received anything. When I called to speak to customer service they put me on hold for 40!mins. I called back and was told that the floweres were delivered at 6:03 to my job we close at 5:00. So that's not even possible. Beware of this business they will just take your money and never deliver
10 roses instead of 12.1000% bought from grocery store. Said it would come with chocolate, it did not. Dollar store vase. What an awful company. Do not waste a single dollar on what this crap is.
Do NOT order flowers from here! They add surprise fees, do not deliver on time, do not deliver requested arrangement, and only way to get person on the phone is to call to place an order. They are quick to take new orders when they cannot even fulfill current ones. Put on constant hold when request to speak to customer service is made. There is no attempt to remedy any mistakes.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
