Sneaky pricing. They bury an extremely high service charge at the very end of the checkout process. The service fee info does not show up before that in any way. They will not refund the order or the service fee either. They say they are a local florist, but they are not the florist. They are a third-party company that puts in orders with local florists. Save yourself the money and go straight to an actual local florist.
Worst experience: express delivery-5 days. Conformation-had to call them,8 times. Was then promised a photo conformation = nothing, still don't know! I was really counting on them.
Now,I may never have the opportunity to tell her how I feel.
Website did not work. Phone service was terrible. Turned out to have extra fees. Do not use this company.
Ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom in the hospital and paid an extra $24.95 for next day delivery. Someone leaving the facility found them sitting outside late at night. Real shady way to conduct business. Will never use again.
The absolute worst! I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my sister for her birthday. The night before delivery I got word the flowers were not in stock. The replacements they offered were cheap and would change the whole arrangement. This was so important to me and they let me down. If flowers are important for your occasion DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM
There was an additional $25 service charge at the end that was unexplained and unexpected. This felt like a scam since the flowers were only $50. What's a 50% service charge?!
I ordered $160 of sympathy flowers to be send to my best friend's dad funeral in another state that I could not attended. He was an Asian man with an Asian name, so the name did not match exactly on the delivery, and the funeral home would not accept, as I was told. They called me about the problem so I gave the sons name and contact to be delivered to the house. That did not happened for whatever reason, so they called me a few days later and told me the situation. The funeral was last week so too late to deliver anymore, so I ask for a refund. They told me they could do a partial refund which I have no choice but to agreed to. But they never sent any refunds after months of waiting.
The flowers were old and ugly. The stems were like hollow wood. Was a surprise for my mom who just finished cancer treatment
Do not believe they will deliver same day. As a matter of fact, it took 4 days. They "refunded" me $20. Big deal, it was an $80 order. Worst costumer service ever. DO NOT USE
Ordered flowers to be delivered for my grandma's 92 birthday. They called me the day of to say they couldn't deliver them and were wondering if 4 days later is okay with an edible gift basket. Kept trying to talk me into that until I finally got a refund. Luckily another local business was able to get her her flowers on her birthday.
Ordered flowers for relative's funeralkl, they send email wanting alternate address to one of the largest churches in the county. So I give them son's address, receive another email the day of the funeral 25 minutes after the funeral saying they don't have the flowers I ordered! I ordered a dish garden! Come on, what florist can't whip up a dish garden? Trying to get refund, offered alternate arragement (mind you funeral is still over). Then a coupon for the future. Praying for a refund but not holding my breath. Operator wouldn't tell me the name of local florist so I could be sure to avoid them at all costs! A funeral, really? I know stuff happens but this did not have to! Buyer beware! If you live in Dunnellon, Citrus Springs area of Florida ask if florists are affiliated with AVA and run the other way!
I ordered flowers for a family member's birthday. It is her first birthday since she lost her son. I was guaranteed that the flowers would be delivered ON her birthday. I live 4 hrs away & cannot be with her. Only tonight did I find out the flowers won't be delivered until tomorrow. If you could not fulfill my attempts to let her know she was loved in this very difficult day, then say so. Don't make promises you don't intend to keep! Shame on you!
Will not make the terrible mistake of ordering anything from this crappy so called company again.Wish there was a negative star option because that's what the deserve. This review is asking for proof of purchase. Can't give one because they never got delivered.
I ordered a plant to be delivered to a funeral home. They gaureentee same day delivery NOT TRUE! I ORDERED 24 HRS Before I wanted delivered. They did not delivery on correct day. They said funeral home was closed! Not so! They delivered a day late. After me calling and fussing. The day it originally suppose to be delivered. As we all know when it comes to flowers for a funeral home. Can not be late! EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED!
I ordered flowers and a condolence card from avasflowers.net for a child's funeral. They sent a PET condolence card with my personal condolence message taped inside this ridiculous card. It was horrifying. I called 4 times and 4 times they cut off the call and wouldn't tell me the name of the local florist. I wish I would've read the reviews before I ordered. This was horrible.
Bad customer service. Called 2 days late and told me they couldn't fulfill my order and would give me a 20% discount. Then called back and said the couldn't fill the expect order. VERY POOR BUSINESS. DON'T ORDER UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH PROBLEMS
What I ordered from Avas flowers wasn't even close to what I paid extra for.
Disappointed is not the word.
Paid for a plant with fall flowers, not one flower, smaller plant than what I paid for, not even moss to cover the soil.
It was embarrassing
I purchased flowers for around $80 for my sisters birthday! They were delivered in brown paper NO VASE purchased at Safeway flowers delivered by Uber. The flowers were probably a $8 bouquet. My sister got a message from Uber saying her Safeway flowers were being delivered! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Is very sad that a company with so many positive reviews would have not delivery the flowers to my father's funeral, never received a call or an email saying anything about it. When people are going through tough times the last thing we should worry about is some flowers to be delivered on time. Very bad service, I have never leave a bad review even if I didn't like the service but what this company did specially during that day is unacceptable. So unprofessional.
A $54 mixed arrangement plus fees and services charges came to $93.92. The arrangement shown online was impressive and what my wife got was a bad joke. Then to get any satifaction from "customer service" is frustating dealing with overseas operators that are reading from a script and provide useless lip serivce.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
