Ordered parts on May 10,2022. Order was cancelled by Auto Zone on May 12th, I resubmitted the order on May 16th, on May 17th I received an email stating order was delayed. Then received an email that my order was shipped on May 20th. I spoke with USPS on May 23rd, and USPS has received NOTHING from Auto Zone to come to my address. Auto Zone continues to blame USPS, I am sorry but I believe a government run program over a back yard redneck auto parts dealer. Totally useless company. They need to go in partners with NAPA(Never Any Parts Available)
I am handicapped, I went in and asked the manager if he could check my neighbors truck because the check engine light came on.
His response, I AM NOT ALLOWED to check your vehicle because of STORE POLICY!
He started to hand me the apparatus and told me I have to do it.
I AM HANDICAPPED, I CANNOT BE GOING UNDER THE DASH BOARD TO CHECK THE PROBLEM.

As I have ordered, the website had confirmed next day delivery, but next day I didn't recwive it, and to get worst, I received confirmation of the shipping wold be delivered on monday! It means i will be whit out ac in my car in florida for a whole week

The website lies so you can buy it hoping for next day delivery (you are not Amazon) don't promise what you can't pay! Ordered friday, website said delivery will be tomorrow, tomorrow arrives and guess what? Delivery for monday!

We bought an alternator for our car, thinking we could return it if our alternator was good. The girl who works at Autozone did not tell us there is an electronic policy. We found out that our alternator is good and now we can't return the one we bought, and we really need this money back. I just wish she should have told us about the policy, that way we would have taken our alternator out first and checked it. Now we are stuck with one that we don't need.
Placed order in Saturday May 7th using 20% off coupon (last day to use this coupon). Received immediate confirmation from PayPal but not AutoZone. Called AutoZone next day and they told me that order didn't go through on their end and that if I wanted the parts I would need to redo the order USING A DIFFERENT PAYMENT SOURCE. They also told me that I couldn't still get the 20% off because the code had expired. Absolutely ridiculous. They screw up but refuse to make things right despite no fault on my end. Last time I will EVER use AutoZone. All they did was waste a whole bunch of my time. Horrible customer service and even worse app that screws up you order. Pathetic. Use them at your own risk and definitely don't use them if you need your order in a timely manner.
I have repeatedly had problems with the WOBURN MASSACHUSETTS store manager who has always given me a hard time each and every time I need to do a return. But this last time went WAY out of control and overboard. He literally threw me out of the store and threatened to call the police if I ever returned and told his employees to do the same. When I complained about this most hostile, unjustified and reprehensible conduct by that rotten manager toward me, the upper management took over a week to respond to my complaint and then quickly transferred the case to an "INTERNAL MATTER" in order to deliberately HIDE the offenses committed against me by this store manager. Ultimately the upper management provided me with absolutely NO SATISFACTION, kept this manager in their employ, to my shock and surprise, and never made any effort whatsoever to correct the problem in any way, shape or form that was ever conveyed to me. It clearly explains why AutoZone has among the WORST RATINGS on the internet. I will NEVER, EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING IN ANY AUTOZONE STORE EVER AGAIN, EVER! And I would recommend to anyone else reading this review to do the same. They deserve to be put out of business for the way they mistreat and ABUSE CUSTOMERS. I noted through my research, that many other customers have had similar BAD EXPERIENCES at many AutoZone Stores which explains why they quickly hide these complaints under the rug and call them "Internal" matters. What a JOKE!
I ordered a windshield wiper switch on their website and it was supposed to come in a week or two and it's been a month and the only thing it says is "ready to ship".
Wasat the Enid Oklahoma store this am to get a part that I had ordered and paid for over the phone. When I got there the assistant manager, a Mr. Dodson, was a real jerk. He refused to check in my item, even though he knew I was there waiting for it. Finally another employee took my item from Mr Dodson and checked me out. All told I stood there for an hour while the assistant manager had his little power play. Wouldnt recommend the Enid Oklahoma store to anyone. Thankfully there are other auto parts stores in Enid with way better customer service
I've been going to this location for 20 years, and when I had a bad experience to return the recycled oil to the back, which I know now, we cannot, so as I was going towards the back to stop at the end of the counter, the manager was so RUDE and yelling DO NOT GO TO THE BACK, and I was going to stop at the end of the counter anyway, I know the rules. That manager there was really RUDE WITH A CUSTOMER BUYING AND VISITING YOUR LOCATION FOR 20 YEARS. PLEASE BE ADVISED! HE DOESNT HAVE TO BE SO RUDE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Placed order on 3-1-22. Called 3x for status, told once it was shipped. 2nd time, part was backordered. 3rd time on 4-4-22@ 10:20am told parts were cancelled. Asked why I was never mailed, called, texted, or emailed it was cancelled and was given a "oh, that item ships from the manufacturer" response. See photo regarding order status on Autozone APP still states "Ready to ship". No communication about part cancelation causing further 2 week delay to this repair. Zero stars for customer service and their order communication
The customer service agent here in south florida ******* Miramar pky, went out of his way with an expanation, it was like talking to a friend.

I ordered 2 sets of brakes on March 3 with next day delivery. I received an email that the order would be delayed by 24 hours and offered a $10 gift card. The order still hadn't shipped after 24 hours so I contacted AutoZone and was told it would ship the next day. After 4 days, no shipment. I called again and was told it would be delivered in 3 days. No shipment. I've called for a third time( now having spent over an hour on the phone (for a measly $10 reimbursement) to cancel the order and I am being told they will not cancel it or refund the money because FedEx has to pick it up. It's canceled- there's nothing to pick up anymore.
I'm not sure where the incompetence lies, from the warehouse, to the customer service, to the supervisors, it's baffling that no one can get a straight answer. It's even more insane to think that's a third party logistics company has anything to do with a transaction between AutoZone and their customer. If an order is canceled and has not shipped, why does Fed Ex have anything to do with refunding the order?
Alas, I'm standing at the register to buy the brakes from Advanced Auto Parts as I'm writing this. AutoZone is ridiculously messy. I'm curious of how long it's going to take to get my money back, or if I'm going to be stuck in limbo for that too. BUYER BEWARE!
Went to Store on Michigan ave in Zionsville and needed an air filter and O2 sensor. Air filter did not fit. When I returned the filter, I had him check if the sensor was correct (already installed). Both were the wrong part. They had neither replacement part on site. Needed to back the next week for correct part and needed to back a fourth time to return the incorrect sensor. Manager did replace them with 10% discount, but I won't go back.
Any information provided on the website about any parts ordering is best ignored, as it is unverified at best and an outright lie on average.
The website affords no way to actually remedy a problem and requires you to call then navigate a menu so that you can speak to a human to get any issue resolved.

Amazing staff
I don't do reviews! But in this case, I just had to. I got up this morning and my battery was dead. I jumpstarted it and went directly to AutoZone because online it stated that you could buy your battery there and they would install it for no additional charge. Well, they not only installed it, they provided me with a free battery terminal since the one that was on my vehicle was completely eaten away by acid. At no point did they ever make me feel that I was taking up their time. Kayden and Ronnie are great examples of what an employee is all about. They were very kind and understanding to my financial situation and they both spent their time fixing my vehicle. They also gave me helpful advice on how to avoid a buildup of corrosion on my battery again. Cayden suggested that I purchase for just a few dollars, something that would go on my battery to help prevent the corrosion. I have decided that if there are any other automotive needs that they can assist with, I will be taking my vehicle to this store only in the future. If anybody wants to know, the store is located on Roberta Way in Sparks. Believe me when I tell you, you will not be disappointed in being provided excellent service. Don't go to Auto Zone on Aldine Bender with CASH. You will not Gert. Your change back. Said they don't have any. I could not go in store and owe money and walk out owing money. If they don't have change close your store.
I got to give this guy kudos. I called another store in Wichita and spoke to someone who did not even know how to operate the computer. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused let me talk to the manager. Told me the manager would reel me the same thing. I called store number 1610 and got in touch with a guy name Chad. This guy was so helpful he apologize for the other people looked the part up for me and was very kind and courteous. AutoZone made a good choice when they hired him. This man is dedicated and knowledgeable thank you very much Chad and have a great day.
A young guy put my air filter on but I told him it was the wrong air filter. It fell off. Then I took it and the receipt to the store in Belmont to old man did not won't to do his job and give me my refund. So he called the store in Huntersville got there they did it but still all that over nothing. Now my car won't start bc of the new battery I brought the young guy didn't I stall it right. Smh. I don't like AutoZone no more
Answer: Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.
Answer: It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.
Answer: If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
