Despite buying ASAP travel protection plan to cover the refund price of the airline tickets I purchased from them, they have stonewalled me and refused to refund the money. Their plan clearly states that in the event of illness the tickets are refundable. Additionally, the country I was going to has closed its borders to all foreigners thru June 15,2020. I would strongly advise anyone never to do business with this company. If you want airline tickets go directly to the airline. Travel companies are not under the same government requirements as the airlines to refund your money due to Covid 19.

We bought a ticket that was three times the discounted price that they advertised online. It was basically a market rate price.
We purchased their travel insurance too.
The 2:30am flight was cancelled and neither ASAP tickets nor Qatar Airlines informed us. A police officer at the airport told us the flight had been cancelled. Now, neither will refund us the cost of ticket. Qatar Arlines says we have to get the refund through ASAP tickets/ITN and ASAP tickets is saying we have to get the refund through Qatar.
We filed a complaint with the US Dept of Transportation and disputed the charge with our credit card company too.
I've learned that it's cheaper and better to buy travel insurance from an insurance company vs these thieves.

I am trying to re-book my flights as they were canceled because of COVID-19 and the agent is telling me that the penalty is $500, giving some fake deadlines before I have to respond etc. I went directly to company, changed the flight and there are absolutely no fees for the change of flight. I am never doing business with this company again.
Liars trying to take advantage of people who are already in trouble.

After long negotiations, I have managed to pool my value of tickets almost fully, with the help of Selena, an agent in ASAP. So, my advice is - not to give up, hopefully you find an agent and manage to sort your problems with no penalties- as there should be none because of the current situations globally.

Our flight on Norwegian Airlines was cancelled and ASAP did not get our money back. They were not helpful in any way. Would not respond to our calls or emails with any type of resolution. AVOID!

With the help of Asaptickets customer support we got our flight changed to December and I really hope we'll be able to travel! We will continue using Asaptickets and recommend to our family and friends.
We made a reservation back in November 2019 to go to France then to Italy on May 7 until May 20t for 4 people. We also purchased a Travel Protection Plan. Due to the current situation, we can no longer travel to Europe and we ask for a full refund. We were told that our option is to get a refund but their will be a charge of $200 Recalled Fees to issue a refund? This is totally absurd! Why are we getting penalized for something that is out of control and the fact we have travel protection. Our other option is to keep our ticket (get a credit) that is good for 2 years. What we want is a full refund since this isn't our fault. ASAP should reconsider the full refund just like the other 3rd part travel agency. I have booked a flight couple of months ago via Vayama to go to the Philippines and due to travel restrictions they canceled my flight and refund me the full month of the ticket even with no travel protection purchased. This is a good customer service!
Please be considerate during this time as we all worked hard for our money.! Please waive the Recalled Fees.
