Pre covid I bought a ticket to Manila for March 2020 with travel protection for additional charge. Months later in February 2020 I see the Philippines will be possibly closing its borders so I try to cancel my flight. For two weeks I spent hours either on hold with customer service or getting the runaround. According to the protection plan I have to cancel a flight no less than 24 hours prior to the flight time to receive a refund. They decide to actually talk to me with 10 hours left before my flight and they tell me I'm no longer eligible for a refund. After many emails and irate phone calls to them, they finally decided I could get a refund. It took 11 months to actually see the refund money in my account and they made me pay over $200 for a "processing fee". I gave them the benefit of the doubt because covid was a high call volume time for all airlines and ticket agents so I just purchased another ticket with them for Manila last month. They changed my flights 3 different times so my layovers went from 3 hours to 10 hours and then 7 hours after I called and complained. The agent then tried to tell me that my travel dates weren't good and was talking down to me for not accepting alternative dates. I also asked for specific seats and never got them. I will NEVER use this ticket agency again. Not even if they offered me $100 tickets to any country of my choice. Please if you are considering buying though them, reconsider. It's not worth the hours on hold when they inevitably try to steal your money. I've booked with them three times. The first time was great, the second and third time were nightmares.

I purchased 3 tickets to spain with travel insurance on April 24. On may 14 they sent me an email that my flight from San Diego to Toronto was canceled. Asap tickets tell me that the available flights had 23 hour layover and 18 hour layover. So when I call Regina she tells me she can't help my and sends me to a different department. After speaking with several departments someone cancels my flight and issues a partial refund because I did not want to take the flight with long layovers. I go on the Air Canada website and my flight is still available. Asap tickets tells me it's canceled and I'm out $235 dollars and nobody seems to care. Please save your money and go with different company because the language barrier will prevail and you will lose your money

My trip was anything but smooth, but it was definitely memorable. On a Sunday morning at 3am I was pulled out of the line at the airport because I did not have 30,000 dollars worth of insurance, that I was never told about, and had to borrow money to find insurance. I also was never told that TSA only applies in the USA. I was also pulled out of line in Manila for my return flight, after getting two PCR test, but now being told that I needed an antigen test instead, thereby ending up giving their government $200.00 for something I knew nothing of. I contacted Qatar prior to catching my flight, and asked specifically about COVID policy procedures, and was given faulty information, that did not include anything about antigen. The whole process in my opinion is a scam to take peoples money, and I don't have enough characters here, to express the rest of this very stressful event. It's no wonder people do crazy things on airplanes now. ASAP prices are great, the stress is unbearable
