Apple Reviews Summary

The company enjoys a reputation for high-quality products that are well-regarded for their performance and reliability. However, customer feedback reveals significant dissatisfaction with their customer service, particularly regarding response times, support effectiveness, and issues related to returns and refunds. Many customers express frustration over service delays and a perceived lack of accountability, leading to feelings of neglect and disappointment. I love Apple's iphone upgrade program. Allows me to get a new phone yearly. The warranty coverage is included in the monthly payment & it's so worth it. Service is always great at the Apple stores. I own their iMacs, iPads, Apple TV & Airbook. I love how everything is connected & I also dig how it's not as susceptible to viruses. Aesthetically pleasing & worth the money.

They have ordinary stuff. The phones work well (but not at too low temperatures). Yeah, their camera's great. Other than that, it's just a fine phone that's nice to use. So I don't share the hype that comes up when Apple release a new phone or laptop.

Awful customer service, item took 6 days to dispatch the item and a day to arrive yet they blame the delivery company? Before this order was placed I was told categorically the magic keyboard would not be launched until mid May, it then launched that afternoon, 30 mins after placing an order for the keyboard folio, complained, tried to cancel, spoke with someone within customer relations, was promised a call back and no call in a week, no wonder there are so many terrible reviews about Apple on here, it's time after time they abuse customers loyalty. Let's face it their grip on innovative tech is slipping and so many are on par or catching up, soon their abuse of customers will have its affect and they wont go blindly into new products and go with other brands

I have always been pleased with Apple Customer care.
But today I made three attempts to solve an iTunes gift problem. My 13 yo grandson has a no credit card account assigned to his iTunes yet when I bought and sent him a $100 digital iTunes card; it showed up in his iTunes but iTunes would not let him use unless he also assigned a credit card. Apple could not solve it post several settings reviews...
Wonder if you can?
Solution simple after some thought.
You see iTunes does not keep track of the gift card so I case he purchases beyond his balance a credit card would be mandatory.
So do not give an iTunes gift card to a child that does not have an assigned credit card.
Fortunately, they said that they would refund me.
Learned something new each day.

Never been a fan
April 25, 2020

I have never been a fan of Apple. But when I bought MacBook it was a blessing! It you use note for a work, not simple browsing and movie watching, but working, there is no better thing than MacBook. Touchpad and operation system is WOW so good. Not a fan of iPhone because they are too expensive and difference with android is not so great

Repair Staff GARBAGE
April 14, 2020

The workers in the store in colonie are PHENOMENAL but when you actually have to send your phone out it ends in the result with terrible service. I received my phone back after having to send it out to be repaired and upon looking in my photos the workers were playing around with my camera. Then as i was looking at my phone, i went to go take out the sim card tray to reenter my sim to find out they never put my tray back into my phone before sending it out. They overnight-ed my phone as "priority: so when i spoke to a customer service supervisor she told me she doesn't have the ability to do such thing with the tray! I've waited 5 days for my phone to be fixed and sent back and now i have to wait another 2 days before i can even use it because their employees are incompetent workers! NEVER AGAIN, ill pay $100.00 plus for my phone to be fixed at a phone stand before i send it back out to apple.

Are all apple iphones are assembled in china?
If yes we should stop buying it, apple should find another place to get it assembled. Strictly NO to any good made in China now.

I wish they did zero star ratings because Apple would definitely get one for sure. My Apple series 3 screen broke and wanted 160 dollars to replace the screen! A brand new Series 3 Apple Watch is 200 bucks. They're only wanting 40 bucks cheaper than the original price. Because they're wanting to do that I'm not buying an Apple Watch ever again and I'm about done with Apple products period. I have had nothing but problems with them this past year and I'm getting fed up with it.

Macbook Air
March 23, 2020

I've had issues with my MacBook for over a year now. I have taken it to the Apple store multiple times and have called customer service on my issues with it starting up. All they do is fix the current issue and then my MacBook breaks down again. They haven't helped me at all with fixing my MacBook from it shutting down all the time. Really disappointed in the customer service and how they helped me. Don't think I'll buy another MacBook book again.

I have an issue with an iphone that I bought from the Arden Fair Apple Store in July of 2019. Between trouble shooting with Verizon and Apple customer service, we've identified that it is likely a known Apple issue that is covered by the company, once confirmed. With all of the local apple stores shutdown for COVID-19, I have to mail it in without a loaner phone which was quoted to take 10 days to 4 weeks. Waiting 4 weeks for a phone that I use for multi-factor authentication to be able to work from home is unacceptable. I recognize that they have a number of challenges in this unprecedented time but their consumers do as well. I have to be able to work from home. I came up will a few creative solutions such as having them pay the trade in credit as if the phone was fully functional and I'd buy the newest model. If the diagnostics came back as another issue that wasn't covered by apple, they can charge my card back for the credit. Another option would be to allow me to purchase a phone and return it, if they are able to fix it under their warranty. Both options, were rejected. The only solutions involve me purchasing another phone at full price without a credit for what's likely a defect in a phone I bought from their store in July or waiting 10 days - 4 weeks for them to resolve the issue (that's after I wait two days for them to send me a box to ship it to them). This isn't an acceptable option when I need it to work from home. We own three iphones in our house (XR and two 7s that we were planning to upgrade), a Macbook Pro, and 2 pairs of airpods. For a situation where Apple could have worked with us and given me the $120 trade-in credit on a $1000 phone and even charged me back if it wasn't a warranty covered issue, they lost Apple customers for life. The new plan is to go to Costco and buy the latest Samsung Galaxy today while they repair the other phone for me to resell online. I'm sure between the time they spent talking to me on the phone, shipping my phone back and forth, paying for an appointment at a local authorized non-apple phone repair store, running diagnostics and fixing the issue.

I had a macbook pro 2018 display issue where suddenly yellow spots appeared and it just so happened few days after the 1 year warranty expired, since it was bought from another country where I wanted to fix it... it would've costed. Apple support made an exception in their system that allowed my laptop to be fixed for free in my country. Thanks

My review is about the recent purchase from a friend of mine, he decided to go all taking in account the several reviews about the MacBook Pro 2019 and he was more than satisfied! You finally listened to your fateful customers and Mac is doing is thing once again! Great job guys, now it would´ve been perfect and a 5 star review if the camera was better than it is (which of course it has a lot of potential to be wat better) and if the display was 4k. I think that for the price ($2,399) and its hardware (which still has a lot of room for improvement) people could have gotten AT LEAST a real full 4k display and a better camera. Anyways, I´m crossing my fingers and if the 2020s MacBooks are what people expect then I´ll definitely will invest in one myself!

I'm extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with Apple product and customer service. I'm having issue with new iPhone Pro 11 which I recently bought. I Called Apple support after calling them 10 to 15 times and resetting my phone 4 to 5 times I was told by Apple that it looks like it is a manufacture defective device, I have to send it out to Apple for repair which can take more than 9 days and I will have no device for that many days. I asked if it is manufacture defective device then how it is my fault. I have no landline and fully depend on cellular phone. Then I was advice since I have an Apple care they can do express replacement but they will put hold on my visa for $1558. I requested if I can go to the store to get replacement than putting this much money on hold. I use my visa and don't keep cash. I was told by Apple I will only get replacement device if I'm willing to put hold on my visa. I felt like I'm getting punished by Apply by buying an IPHONE. Also I was told that I will get like new device (a device made with parts of returned defective phones). I was shocked that Apple sold me a defective phone now they will give me refurbished device. It is total RIP OF by Apple. I'm very disappointed that a company like Apple would provide such a substandard customer service.

Apple is horrible
February 27, 2020

I have always been an apple user. I own numerous apple products and run my business with all apple products. However, my credit card company alerted me about numerous suspicious charges to my credit card account. When I called apple they verified it was not me making the charges, but would not tell me what the merchandise was that was charged because they said they have to protect the person who was charging my credit card without my permission. Mind you I never asked for the thief's information only what my credit card purchased. There reasoning was due to the fact they do all possible to protect their users! Are you kidding me? How about protect the one who did not steal, but again how does it interfere with even the thief's privacy by wanting to know what merchandise was purchased with my credit card? So apple only sells one product to one person in the world? It makes no sense what so ever. My credit card company was even stunned by the lack of service from apple in this matter. Oh and did I mention I spoke with a manager and he was the one giving me this information! Unreal I will never buy another apple product ever again!

Rotten Apples
February 21, 2020

I own an iPhone XS and while using phone the screen went green. Brought to Apple store at Roosevelt Field in NY and was told my phone was irreparable, 50 days out of my 1 year warranty. Dave, the manager at Apple store was horrible, he would quote store policy stating phone was out of warranty date rather than take into account the possibility of an iPhone issue. Since I didn't have Apple care, I was offered to purchase a replacement phone for $600. What a racket and they do not offer Apple care on iPhone XS purchased from them. I had to get coverage through my provider. Something is rotten here. Multi billion dollar company with a monopoly based customer model. I ready to sell my stock of this spoiled product!
