Booked hotel through Booking.com but was then re-directed to Amoma.com. Ended up playing twice as paying via card was quite confusing. Once done on line then you receive an email to complete the process... even though it's done. Although I did call the customer service number and they knew what had happened and was already in the process of fixing it. So thank you.
Great location and friendly service and helpful staff and very friendly management, the food was great and the staff were helpful

Good and fast procedure while bookin procedure, negative point, fee while bookin are to high, nice price but high fee, at hotel they did ask us about tax fee and it was so unfair because i bought the booking with tax, fee and all. So please speak with hoteles to not ask again for fee and hope u make more deal with nice price

Went to Hotel a week before booking and they did not know anything about us and it happed to another person earliin the day!

The hotel did not have a room for me the first night of my stay. I had to move to another hotel several miles away, requiring unplanned taxi rides associate with staying at the other hotel.

We stayed at the Best Western plus in Rome very close to the train station which was in an excellent location the Hotel was clean and comfortable and offered a very good buffet style breakfast for 5 and I got a very good deal from Amoma

I admit that I made the booking with Amoma without researching them properly because the offer was just that good.
I then read the bad reviews on TripAdvisor and other forums... and panicked!
I promptly contacted Amoma, who assured me that the booking had been confirmed by the hotel. They then emailed a confirmation number... then called to make sure I was satisfied with the information they had supplied. Basically went out of their way to make sure I was a happy customer.
After reading the reviews, I didnt trust any of this of course, and contacted the hotel directly.
This morning I received an email from the hotel saying that everything is in order.
Our room, meals and other requests are all confirmed... and at basically half the price I could get it anywhere else.
So Amoma really worked for me. In fact, I have had a very good experience with them and wont hesitate to use them again.
Obviously I cant deny the negative experiences other people have had with Amoma, but would like to share a couple of my observations from this experience:
1/ Most of the negative comments about Amoma are from a few years back (teething problems perhaps? They have only been in business since 2014)
2/ Amoma seem to be going out of their way to clean up their negative image. Their customer service has been nothing short of exceptional in my case; and I note that they often reply to postings on forums to seek solutions.
3/ S**t happens people. Bookings can go wrong for a number of reasons, including issues at the hotel itself. When this happens, Amoma seems to go to great lengths to find a solution when this happens.
4/ Many of the negative comments on this forum dont relate an actual incident. They are just rants.
I almost cancelled my booking with Amoma due to all of this negativity. Im glad I didnt, because in my experience, Amoma is a legit company, working hard to make their customers happy.
And no, I dont work for Amoma...
