I have been using American blinds for my last 4 homes and have been happy with the service and quality. This last purchase is for an appartment that's a new build so I haven't installed them yet.
I have ordered 14 blinds all together in the past 2 years and this past order I had ordered two different blinds. The one blind that was sent was smaller than what I had purchased after following all the correct steps in Order to measure. Mind you this isn't my first time measuring for these blinds. I called customer service because things happen. I talked with Felicia who was completely rude and decided to have an attitude with me after explaining the situation. You have lost all business from our family and homes to come. Huge lost. Sad that a customer service representative is making your company look bad.

I have ordered cellular shade and wood blinds from American Blinds for years, for two different homes. I recommend them to friends who need blinds or shades because they are fast, have great pricing and good customer service. That was proven again with my latest order. Thrugh no fault of AB, I was SO unhappy with my Levelor cellular shades! Because of an unexpected surgery right before my shades were delivered, I couldn't install them right away and so I was outside the 30 day return policy when I discovered the problem with the product. But, instead of just telling me I was out of luck, AB's customer servvice came up with a terrific solution. And I was able to handle the whole thing via their chat function. So, I continue to be a very satsfied customer. Now I'm off to AB to purchase wooden blinds for the kitchen!
I have accidentally ordered wrong blinds width and asked for the same promotion to be honored while ordering 3 more. I am glad to report that customer service was able to resolve this issue

Pull cord failed shortly after purchase. 4, two foot wide by 6 foot tall blinds were ordered at just under $600! Company did not honor their posted satisfaction guarantee (shown below). Spend your money somewhere else. I was told to sell the blinds to someone else? How is that a useful suggestion? Called for help twice (they are not able to take emails because there is too much volume... there's a clue), clerks were distant and un-helpful. What modern company can't have an email interface... one that wants nothing in writing perhaps.

We ordered 2 outdoor blinds for our patio. Using the American Blinds website information regarding sizing, they indicated the blind width did not include the necessary width for each of the 2 brackets on each blind. I specified I wanted a 48" blind, assuming the brackets would be outside that width. What they sent was 2 blinds that are only 44 inches wide. When I called about the wrong sizing, of course I was told the satisfaction guarantee does not apply to sizing. Do NOT buy from this company, or at least give them a call, and hopefully they can clearly explain their sizing.
Hi Cheri, I am sorry to hear your blinds were not the expected size! The ordered width will always include the hardware for all products, as we will never make anything wider than ordered, even for an outside mount. This is to prevent it from being too wide to fit in the intended space in the event you have nearby obstructions such as vertical posts, furniture, cabinets, light fixtures, etc.

Easy to use website. When I received the order it was missing one of the continuous loop cords. Called customer service, they immediately sent out a loop and a link video for installation and they were very apologetic. I have done business with them over the years and have been very satisfied.
