Fairly easy to order and also fairly easy to install. I was very pleased with product.
I ordered 2 blinds, custom made. Payment cleared my card 2 days after purchase. A week after I ordered them, I got notification that they had shipped. When I noticed that there was no update for shipment 3-4 days later I reached out to customer service and found out that the blinds are manufactured in, get this, Mexico. This was confirmed by 2 other agents when I called for updates a couple days after the estimated delivery and there still wasn't movement. As of this post, its FINALLY updated with new tracking information but 3.5 weeks AFTER I placed the order and 3 weeks after they've had my payment. I won't be using them as I prefer American Made products. Just because it says American doesn't mean its manufactured in America in this case.
Easy and I did call CS to review what I had ordered in past so I could replace a couple blinds. Rep was very helpful.

They say a company is only as good as its customer service, and unfortunately, I have learned that American Blinds is no longer a good company based on my first experience with an issue after many years as a loyal customer. Years ago, we furnished our entire house with blinds purchased from American Blinds, and we've slowly been replacing those blinds with new purchases from American Blinds as we've updated our house, always with complete satisfaction. However, I recently purchased a mini-blind at the recommendation of one of their design consultants that is too deep for our relatively shallow window frames. This was never a problem with any of our prior purchases. After contacting their customer service, the only solution offered was for me to purchase a replacement blind using one of their design consultants (again) to ensure it will fit. They do not offer returns or refunds, and my request for a price concession toward the replacement blind was unanswered.
Fortunately, I learned their disregard for me as a customer over a $100 blind and not concerning an issue with the $1,000s of blinds previously purchased through American Blinds. I will take their customer service agent's advice and order a replacement with the guidance of a design consultant, but it will be from a different company. I can no longer recommend American Blinds -- caveat emptor.
Ordered a large shipment of 13 blinds for a client. Blinds shipped from Korea thru DHL. First delivery of 3 blinds arrived "almost"on time. Remaining came in 4 separate shipments, the last more than a week later. Quality and price were fine (although one was incorrectly sized) but client was unhappy because they had to live without window treatments for so long. I decided to give them a second chance and ordered 4 "quick ship" blinds, due to ship 11/29 for delivery by 12/6. As of today, 12/5, they have not shipped. I will not use again.
I own a home in Belize and purchased all of my interior blinds from this company. They were on the expensive side, but all in all a great product. Then I decided to purchase the exterior blinds. They arrived and I loved them as much as the interior ones. However, after about 3 months, the stainless steel ball chains started rusting. I would do my best to clean them every time I used them to try to keep the rust off. After 6 months the chains broke on all three shades. I called customer service, they were very nice and ordered me new chains. However, I called again and asked what else I could do, as I did not want to have to replace the chains every 6 months. Considering the three shades cost me over $4,000 and are sold as outdoor shades, one would think they would have something better than a chain that would only last three months. They had no alternative. So I warn anyone that wants to purchase outdoor roller shades, be CAUTIOUS! The chains will rust and be unusable
I would have given a rating of 4 or 5 but am not happy with my dealings with customer service. The ordering process online was easy enough and the turn around was pretty short. The products seem to be fairly decent quality. However, when I ordered cordless shades, I ordered 3 shades, it indicated that each order would come with a cordless pole to raise and lower the shade. I assumed each shade would come with a pole but I only received one pole because it was only one order with three shades. I was told if I had done three separate orders then I would have received three poles at no extra charge. Tell me the logic in that please? Customer service was willing to charge me for more poles but not provide good customer retention service and offer to send me two more poles. By the way, the poles themselves are fully cheap plastic and they want something like $68 for additional poles. Buyer beware!
We ordered two outdoor solar shades for our porch. One arrived perfectly and we set it up right away - so far we are very happy with it! The other arrived damaged in transit - the large metal pole was bent at about a 30 degree angle making it impossible to hang up. I called customer service and within minutes they had a replacement being sent out way.
We took the measurements, received the product and installed, all without any issues.
Received the shipment. Upon inspection, noticed the wooden tilt wand was broken. Also noticed the other tilt wand was bowed. I notified American Blinds and they shipped a replacement. The replacement wand was also broken. On the phone again requesting another replacement. Very frustrating.

Still have not received the correct blinds and no one at this company seems to care. Have had contact with 3 different customer service people and they were very nice on phone and said problem should be taken care of in 3 - 4 days. But no one has followed up on my problems with getting the correct blinds. Ordered blackout verticell blinds and received light filtering. I have sent photos 3 times and no response. I am very frustrated at this point. It's been 2 weeks since I first contacted customer service about this problem. Spent $900 for these blinds.and not sure of what my options are at this point. Based on my experience so far with this company would definitely "NOT RECOMMEND" American Blinds to anyone.
This is feeling like a scam and we have not loved working with this company. We ordered some outdoor shaded on May 25th, and on the website, it says they will be delivered within 10-15 business days. Confirmation email says the delivery date would be June 13-16. And then the freight company says they won't get here until June 29. The customer service of American Blinds is not helpful at all. Apparently they have someone manufactured the product and basically just told us that the delivery date was an estimate. Well, is it ok if you don't deliver until 2024? I'm gonna have to file a fraudulent dispute on my credit card. They do not live up to their promise at all, and offer no resolution other than, "just keep waiting".

Easy check out and great selection but I ordered 28.5 in wide got 27.5 leaving gap on sides for light to come in. Feel material of shade was not similar to sample. Feels like paper or a thin fabric. I had high hopes but they weren't met. I sent email to customer service with no reply.

This is my first order from AB and i must tell everyone my blinds are 10 million x's better than i ever dreamed. I got the basic room darkening roller blind but for a large 86 inch window. No topper. Plastic Chain thingee on right side which lowers and raises my new blinds like butter. I just wanted night time privacy & that ill have. Installation was a BREEZE. I did it all alone in 15 minutes. I couldnt be more happy. Communication from them was clear and easy. Ill be ordering again and again and then more!
