Good for our school

We installed Blinds Galore in our entire achool of seven classrooms in 2019. Now we only occasionally need to order replacements when a blind cord fails or something else wears out. Teahcers are very happy with the overall durability and the room darkening characteristics of the blinds.

The Roman shade that I got was very difficult to install. I would probably not recommend this to anyone plus the price was so high. I should've just bought a brand new door with lines inside it would've been cheap cheaper.

I purchased a set of horizontal and a set of vertical blackout blinds. They were excellent products but the vertical blinds needed much better and much LARGER instructions, especially related to the tensioner cord.

Our original order arrived and all the valances were too short and the blinds were to short. We were only allowed to reorder 4 of the total order and have them corrected instead of the entire order that was wrong so that was disappointing.

We're very happy with the blinds themselves - they look beautiful and we're glad we chose Blindsgalore. However, the installation experience was frustrating due to a lack of accessible troubleshooting resources.

We encountered several issues during installation: one bracket cover didn't sit flush (we couldn't tell if the brackets were too close together), the tension control prevented one blind from fully raising and another from fully lowering, and the instructions for adjusting the tension control button were unclear.

Support was friendly but couldn't provide direct answers, requiring back-and-forth emails and communication with the factory. What should have been a 2-hour installation stretched into multiple days of waiting.

The real issue? No instructional videos. In 2026, video tutorials should be standard for products like this. Simple demonstrations showing how to adjust the tension control, proper bracket spacing, and common troubleshooting would have saved us days of frustration. We eventually solved the tension issue by manually flipping the bottom of the blind repeatedly until it reset - something a 30-second video could have shown us immediately.

Bottom line: Excellent product quality, and we're happy with our purchase. But adding basic video tutorials to the FAQ section would transform the customer experience from average to excellent.
