I wanted something that was more convenient and was less bulky than a power strip. Plus I could easily have access to. So I went searching on Amazon as I came across this product and liked what I read about it. It has a lot more usb ports (it has 4) than a power strip, more outlets (9 of them), it's small and portable, it's fire proof, and it's easy to turn on and off simply pushing the button down on top. Oh it even has a feature of a built-in circuit breaker. There is a reset switch for short-circuit/surge/overload protection. This device will automatic power-off if it is overloaded. I could go on and on the it. Talk about a great convenient device. I am happy to say that I am glad I found it and purchased it. Packaging was superb and fast delivery.

A delivery person from amazon fresh. To me a person who is isolating because of an autoimmune disease with morbidity of %100 if I get covid. That is why I got o contact delivery. First the man put groceries right against my front door piling it high. My door opens out in this apt building as my neighbors door does also. So groceries against door make it so you can't get out without pushing food off step.
So as he proceeded doing this I asked him to stop and put in front of bush instead. All he could say was Chinese. Chinese. I finally pushed groceries by opening door. He continued to reptile behind me. I tried to communicate with him. He just kept saying Chinese. He then took off mask and proceeded to get real close to my face and said Chinese. Exposing me at close range and talking. So I tried to talk to him again pointed to door showed him how not to put groceries there. I went and got written notice to not put groceries in front door
The only thing he said was Chinese. He could not speak even a little English. Could not read English and could not even understand spoken English. I have been totally isolating so if I come down with covid I will definitely blame amazon fresh. Is there not enough unemployment that amazon has to employ a person who is unable to communicate in English. During isolation a delivery person should be able to understand their customers for problems. So go ahead call me racist. I want and need to not have my life in danger because you hired someone without any knowledge of the English language. Not one word other than Chinese could he say.
What is going on Amazon Fresh?

Love the convenience!
January 17, 2021

I've been an Amazon Prime shopper for several years. Although I love the convenience, the points and the sometimes perks (which I don't often use), it upsets me that some prices like food items, sanitizers and sanitizing spray, rubber gloves (Playtex, specifically) are so much higher in price than at the grocery store. We're lucky to be able to find the products in Amazon, since we can't often find them in our grocery stores, but I really believe there's some price-gouging going on. Example: my hubby was finally able to find store-brand rubber gloves in our local grocery store last week (Wegmans) for $2.99. In an email today, I found Amazon's price for Playtex rubber gloves is $11.14. That's just one item. During the pandemic, I've found several other product prices to be way above traditional grocery store. I can understand a slight increase but many dollars is a little hard to accept.

I want to score them higher because they have a lot to offer, customer service has been helpful on the few occasions I've needed them and with Prime I get free shipping. Here's the catch - the shipping and delivery portion of the order is so awful that it supercedes and cancels out the good. When you order something from other sites, it gives you a delivery date and that's it; the item is there as expected. With Amazon it's a crapshoot! Very, very few orders ever show up on time and that's inexcusable. The cost of shipping is built into the cost of my membership, so remember nothing is free. They give you no recourse for late shipments. I order things with plenty of time but when you're expecting a delivery it should be there. My daughter's birthday present is already TWO DAYS late and the only offer is a refund, but then they reverse the shipment and that's not feasible because I still need the product. They shouldn't be allowed to charge you a fee if they don't hold up their end of the agreement. I'm not ordering from them anymore. It's time to get back to shopping small, local businesses again. Bye, Amazon

Terrible rude service
January 12, 2021

Terrible customer service! Ordered some supplements and selected overnight delivery 4am to 8am. Well 8am comes and no package so I use their chat to find out where it is. The agent (sohail) was very rude and told me he would use "simple words" to explain that it may take 2-3 days even though item showed available and would be delivered overnight. As you can imagine my response was slightly colorful at which point he disconnected the chat. Well I had to call and they refunded my money but I'm still SOL on my supplements! Great way to treat your prime customers Amazon!

Hit or miss delivery!
January 12, 2021

I routinely order from Amazon Fresh – the majority of the deliveries have been perfectly acceptable – tonight's missed delivery is the last straw: this is the second time the delivery went to the wrong address!

The driver takes a photo of the bags by the front door – BOTH times, the photo is of the same… and different apartment. [see the photo attached – NOT my apartment!] The labels on the bags have my name and address – someone in that apartment knows they've received the wrong delivery and has been enjoying my food! WTAF.

Dudes, GPS! – How hard can it be to hit the correct address?!

Amazon Customer Service has reordered the same order to be delivered tomorrow. [I can only hope it fking arrives]

I cannot continue to use a service I don't trust. I'm done with Amazon Fresh.

Amazon implemented with diliberate intent to cause undue burdensome treatment in how the consumer is put through a process of indefinite length of questioning after losing access to their individual account due to slightest errors or human error such as forgetting the password. The questioning goes in loops and is never satisfied no matter how close and accurate for the answers meant to reject them even when correctly answered as a flaw in system. This leads to loss of money from funds stored in the account for the account holder or merchandise that was ordered and not received because of cancellation. The length of questions and complexity of the process makes it impossible to satisfy the security tests that have to be answered 100 %. If one question out of numerous questions is answered incorrectly it blocks access to the consumer's own account. They don't use the standard process such as sending a code to emails or test to phone as most other companies do. Instead they implemented the most rigorous set of measures that makes it impossible to use the service. This is unfair and to a certain degree inhumane kind of culture in the business practice.

Bad company
January 10, 2021

Amazon banned Parler from their web hosting service in a effort to control speech. Amazon is not an elected official that has any authority to decide what I can and cannot read. Amazon is merely a convenient shopping mall. This is the same as your local Abercrombie and Fitch manager telling you what you can and cannot read.
It's absurd.

When you select free shipping, they automatically charge you for prime on your credit card. You have to manually cancel prime. They are very difficult to contact to straighten out the mess. You have to buy enough stuff on amascam every month with shipping costs adding up to over $16 or your losing money. Amazon prime shipping is a scam.

Mixed Feelings

Many opportunities to make some cash, but some sites are not safe. Other sites lead you down a path of offers and if you decline you do not proceed to your reward. Overall I am satisfied and would recommend trying this.

I recently contacted Amazon regarding my account being unable to review. I was pointed to a paragraph on their ToS saying I broke their rules. I've reviewed the ToS in depth and honestly did not break any rules. The only thing that I can think of remotely being correlated is I'm chinese with obviously a chinese last name.

On their ToS they listed 5 reasons with regards to why they ban a customer. Three reasons has to do with receiving product / discount for a review. Since I didn't do that it couldn't be the reason. One reason had to be someone took over my amazon account which did not happen. So that just leaves the last reason (below) which leads me to believe Amazon.com actively utilizes racial profiling of their customers and sellers.

-- Elements of the account indicate a relationship to sellers, publishers, or other reviewers of the products you review.

Based on the above reason, Amazon thinks I have to be related to a seller. I am of chinese descent with an extremely common chinese last name. And because I've purchased inexpensive china made product sold by chinese sellers (which one of these sellers likely have the same last name as me). That allows Amazon to racially link me between those sellers and me.

I think for an ecommerce platform being so big, to exhibit racial profiling is extremely unethetical and injust. People need to speak up more about this type of poor behavior. I have contacted them multiple times and received a generic response. I'm now resorting to posting all over social media accounts and raising awareness for this type of poor behavior

Scam artists
January 1, 2021

Scam artists, constantly trying to trick regular customers into signing up with a 'free trial' and the option for opting out only in small print, so they will sign up perhaps without even realising, forget to cancel it and end up paying absurd prices every month for rubbish services.
For example, trying to navigate the on demand service and it takes ages to load anything for a start, I find the film I want and Amazon says 'you own it', great! Except that was a lie to trick me into downloading the Disney plus app, which then tried to trick me (in the small print) into signing up at an additional 5.99 per month! Cheeky, dishonest, money-grubbing scum, both Amazon and Disney. Avoid at all costs. Sky aren't perfect either but are a lot more up front and honest than these renegades, and the service actually works smoothly and doesnt rely on rip-off third party apps.
