I received most of my items, but around 1-3 bags were missing and I received someone else's order instead. It was great some few months ago but I don't know what happened. I thought maybe because it came so early (5 AM) but today I ordered during the 7PM-9PM period and a handful of items were missing! I think it might because schools are opening and since it's he first day of school in this area they might have more errors. I hope everything is accurate next time. I thought and was hoping to have a great experience this time but it was ruined. Got a different order, things missing, and cracked eggs.

Twice now we have waited for a 8-10 PM delivery window from Amazon Fresh with no one ever showing up, and no contact with us to let us know what's happening.

I might as well just go to the nearby Safeway of QFC and get what I need, with out waiting around and ending up with nothing.

What could be a nice service, sucks.

If you pay for Amazon Prime, do NOT get your hopes up for the "free two day shipping". They will CHANGE THE DELIVERY DATE if they can not get it to you on the original delivery date! If it says one day, after you have placed your order, KEEP checking your tracking, because they will change that date if they can not get it to you on time. Also, the customer service representative thing is like playing the slot machine. You MIGHT get someone who cares about people and keeping their word, but chances are, you "lose". So many are atrocious! Amazon has no qualms with saying one thing then doing another. They make enough money for their employees to be useless and incompetent. They are like the cyber bullies who hide behind screens. Especially the one who named themself, "Joaquin". Totally ignorant and useless. Just as much as Prime. There are MUCH better companies out there! If you are ordering a gift, especially, you don't want to pay, see the date it will reach you, then have them change it simply because they can not honor their word. You should not give someone your money, then have to keep an eye on them to do what they say! (I would not have bothered with this post if it had not happened SO MANY TIMES.) They have really screwed myself AND my daughter by changing things to suit themselves. Just do your research and read reviews. Wal-Mart and Netflix from now on. NO MORE Amazon Prime. I can't afford to pay for nothing.

Recently moved to the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Ha already successfully placed and received orders from Fresh Direct and Whole Foods, but wanted to give this service a try.

Well, it didn't go as expected. About 40 minutes after the 11-1 delivery window had passed I get a message that the order was cancelled due to issues on their end. No other explanation.

Going back to Fresh Direct and shopping at local stores.

For the past few weeks, Amazon Fresh has been seriously lacking in it's performance. My orders have been arriving late, some have even been canceled without any explanation. And recently, it's been difficult to find delivery windows and when I do, it's always between 9-11 pm. What is going on with Amazon Fresh lately?

Refunds are pretty easy to get, shipping is faster than almost every other service thanks to prime, and prices are all around fairly cheap.

As with most companies Amazon is getting worse as it ages. Apparently taking advantage of customers has become part of its policy. It used to be, you could buy (from Amazon) worry free, return and or replace items without a problem but today you can spend $500 on an item and not be able to replace it. That is a terrible situation.

I have been a member since 2009. Any issues I have had were dealt with though the positives have always outweighed the bad. I am pleased that Amazon offers 5 monthly payments to select customers. It seems random as to who gets the ability to do this. It is only on certain items and it appears to be for members in good standing. In the past I have gotten a high end video card, computer, camera lenses etc etc and had access to the monthly payments with no interest. Sometimes I use the whole five months other times I pay it off after a single month. I appreciate the trust that Amazon has allowed me to do this on occasion.

I also use prime video to watch whatever I am in the mood for on my days off from work while I am working on digital art creation or just relaxing. My monthly cost for the prime membership is fair for what I have access to. I also appreciate all of the Amazon drivers I have come in contact with on receiving my deliveries as they are polite even after a long day. This is just my experience as other people may have different experiences. 99.99% of the time I find what I want even if somewhat obscure. The important thing is to always read the description and double check your order. Common sense still has a place in this day and age, even online.

I've order from Amazon countless times and lately the shipping takes longer and longer with every order. I could undersand it during the lockdown and everysthing, but today it is too much. Not to mention the quality of the products. It is clearly from China and not from the best supplier, to be honest. Why do I need Amazon in this case if there is Aliexpress with lower prices?

I have tried twice- the first time the delivery came nearly 4hours late and all frozen items had completely melted and had to be discarded. The second time, my items were again scheduled to come very late in the night. I cancelled the order and decided to just shop in store.

Completely unreliable

I never know when I place an order what will happen. Sometimes I actually get everything I ordered and in good condition. But many times items are missing. Last night 2 bags were missing! I get items I didn't order, the wrong quantity or produce in poor condition. You have to interact with a driver and show ID if you order alcohol. The last driver wasn't wearing a mask. And if you reorder missing items, they may screw that up too! I'm done with Amazon Fresh!

Exasperating. I get locked out of my account and the ONLY way to regain access is to recall the last 3 items I bought on amazon - which was over 3 months ago. And I have to ask, how is ANYONE going to do that when they're ordering from multiple websites on a regular basis? Not to mention, I can't even look at my order confirmation emails from amazon to see what I ordered. Why? Because they no longer provide item information in order confirmation emails (they used to). They just give a date, dollar amount, and an amazon link to the order page (which is useless if you get locked out of your account).

Other issues:

They did away with commenting on user reviews. So there's no interaction allowed anymore between consumers.

If you order anything that comes in a glass jar, like nutritional supplements and the order is fulfilled by amazon, you're guaranteed to get broken jars. And guess what? They do not allow returns on that kind of item.

I had an order literally disappear from my account page. I had the confirmation emails FROM AMAZON but they could not find the order in their system. So what do they do all of the 4 times I contact them about this? They initiate a fraudulent activity notice which locks me out of my account - FOUR TIMES. There never was any fraudulent activity. So I got stuck with an item I needed to return.

Good site for quick shopping but, sometimes amazon having lots of trust issues regarding the originality of the products. Some branded products are not original so i am bit disappointed with that. Otherwise good site for different varieties of products.

I am a heavy Amazon user online. Recently submitted a product review. The review was actually quite good, but commented on one problem with the product. Amazon rejected the review. The Amazon product review team was unprofessional and rude. Refused to give an explanation for rejecting the review; refused to provide any insight as to the reason for the censorship; even stated to me, and I quote, "If you write us again about this matter we will not answer." Wow! I find this to be shocking. Is this the new Amazon?
