Because of Covid and transportation issues, i have ordered weekly from Amazon Fresh for over a year. In theory this service is a good idea. In Reality, however, there are 2 major things wrong with it (in my opinion) that would help a great deal if they were fixed The Delivery timing is far too long for refrigerated and frozen items. I live 30 minutes from the delivery warehouse and am consistently delivered to at the END of the 2 hour window. After 1 hour max, there should be no delivery of these items for safety sake. So i have to call all the time and the only thing they do is a refund. (Which is only part of the problem). There needs to be some way to get the groceries that need refrigeration delivered within one hour. Secondly, quite often the quality of the vegetables specifically are underripe. And the fruits the same or overripe. Not sure how that would be solved but it doesn't motivate me to want to continue buying there. It's ok for non refrigerated items of course. But i would like to buy all my groceries at once and not have to worry about all this.
Fresh deliveries have a two hour window. That should take care of internal issues at Amazon. But no, well past delivery windows, Amazon will say that they cannot deliver, no reason given. And that is if you are lucky. Sometimes they just don't deliver letting the customer scramble trying to find out where there items are. Customer service for Fresh is basically useless. They have no ability to contact the actual point of service to find out problems. They usually counsel patience. Amazon has holes in its Fresh product. And need to perform better and they absolutely need to improve customer service. Customers should not have to put up with ineptitude. Having said all of this, sometimes they get it right.
I used to shop alot on Amazon but lately it has become basically a flea market in which you can't even inspect the items before you buy.
The last straw was a gaming chair I bought. First one came defective they immediately sent a replacement but i had to disassemble the first one and take it to be shipped back. Now the second one arrives and it has the same defective issues. They want me to take this one apart and send it by by taking it to another shipping company. I am beyond frustrated with them selling junk through third party stuff.
I can not even begin to understand how they can allow anyone to sell anything with out vetting products. I have to inspect the reviews sort out the fake ones. Literally have to spend 2 hours just to check if an item is legit or hijacked item that had 5 star rating. Just to buy an item has become a chore to do on here. Might as well go to the actually store at this point
I have been using Amazon for a while now. I am very impressed with CS and delivery. When I need to have a return it is done very diligently.

Amazon is a hit or miss half the time here lately. I mostly buy books and tea. Sometimes dog things because i do rescue work and also have 4 dogs of my own. But the last couple of time amazon has missed their delivery time and dates by at least 24 hours and im not sure if amazon is having the same problems as other businesses are but i just dont know. On the other hand this has been happening with alot of businesses lately.
Just last month my cousin registered for her wedding for a $20 Amazon Gift Card, now they are too greedy and DO NOT EVEN MAKE $20 gift cards anymore. I had to buy a $25 Gift Card, to you RICH folks Making the PROFIT OFF OF THE EXTRA $5 that might not seem like a big deal but for someone LIVING PAY CHECK TO PAYCHECK it is a HUGE DEAL. THANKS FOR LITERALLY RUINING WHAT WAS MEANT TO BE A HAPPY OCCASION!

Don't use this service if you are counting on them showing up! Delivery truck said they'd be at my house next stop 5 mi away and then out of the blue cancelled my order! Spoke to CS and they knew nothing and couldn't do anything but offer me $5 how infuriating!
Anytime any where amazon has you covered. They provide an excellent service to all of your buying needs. I literally can say they have excellent return agreements and just over all speedy shipping. Most places do not ship as often and quickly as Amazon. Amazon is my number one go to site for clothing and pretty much any need. The site is eye catching and will get your attention to them lightening deals. Just such Amaze-on!

Never had a prime account but I've paid.for.one for almost a year. Fraudulent company and offer no help told.me.to call the bank and cancel my card why should I do the work when your company is fraud in peoples bank accounts? Amazon will never get a penny from me thieves

When they forget or give you the wrong item you really need the most and you've literally spent your last dollar on your grocery run for the week. Their solution... a 7 business day wait back to your account or an instant amazon credit I can't use unless you are going to offer me free delivery on one bottle of iced coffee that lasts me all week and then tell the driver yourself why they are not getting tipped. Not sure why I am tipping if my order is wrong and now I have to go back out anyhow to get the item you forgot. But I can't now, my money is sitting in a useless amazon credit I can't use until I need another $35 worth of groceries.

In short, I found the website hard to maneuver, they added an extra charge for "estimated item adjustments", I was on hold three different times waiting to speak with three different associates, only to be told I had to cancel the order myself. That's pretty funny, since the "cancel your order" link in their email is dead. I'll write this off to my bad decision making, but I will never use this service again.
The original "hook" for Amazon prime was 2-day shipping... it has finally sunk in that they stopped doing that so why would I pay the annual fee?

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
