Caution with echo dot

About 2 months ago, I added an Alexa echo dot and have been playing a lot of music. I recall in the initial setting up a comment on Alexa about a $3.99 charge for Pandora music. I did nothing 'cause I don't use Pandora. Just today a $3.99 charge showed up on my credit card online. I called the Amazon number listed with the charge and they could not/would not tell me what it was for unless I gave them an Amazon account number which I refused. After an hour of total lack of cooperation, I finally called my credit card company and they immediately erased it. THEN I checked echo dot google online and find Amazon is charging $3.99 for streaming Amazon music. I will check for another attempt at charge next month to see what gives. Anyway, if you're giving Alexa for Christmas, be on guard for a $3.99 charge and check first online!

Hola Sra. Rodriguez

Relacionado con el caso expuesto arriba he leido y cito "que se necesitará una investigacion mas profunda". Creo que en el caso que he descrito de mi parte esta muy clara la descripcion de los hechos. En mi caso no tengo la necesidad de reunirme por ahora con ningun personal de Recursos Humanos de Amazon Jax3. No obstante queda de tu parte el dejarme conocer los resultados que han encontrado.

Yo tengo mas evidencia que pueden probar que parte del personal en mi area de trabajo estan designadas a prestar vigilancia a mi persona mientras desempeno mis labores. Eso quiere decir que su desempeno en el trabajo tiene que ser bajo porque estan consumiendo tiempo para ilegalmente prestar seguimiento a mi persona, eso implica que es de concimiento de la Gerencia del almacen que esta situacion esta ocurriendo, es permisiva y sistematica. Me entere que el caso esta cerrado. Asi tambien los reportes de estos empleados cometiendo violaciones clase 2? Tengo otro que probablemente implique terminacion de empleo.

Este empleado estuvo toda la manana en frente de Eric, Goeorga Boy y los demas empleados incluyendome conduciendo el RT 30 por todo el almacen subiendo y bajando paletas con audifonos en ambos oidos. Al parecer a nadie le importo esta violacion.

Al dia de mi ultimo dia de trabajo es evidente y clara que El senor Thomas Sanders y la dama de seguridad junto a empleados del almacen estan conduciendo vigilancia, seguimiento y haciendo comentarios al respecto en contra de mi persona. Esta vigilancia es sistematica y programada asi las cosas esto no es normal de una empresa y al parecer terceras personas o agencias estan dirigiendo esta clase de operacion ya que claramente algunas de estas personas estan haciendo una gestion de la cual no tienen preparacion o destreza. El dia de Accion de Gracias El Senor Sanders de seguridad no solo estuvo visualmente monitoriandome en mi salida del almacen si no que tambien me siguio en mi camino hacia el parking y estuvo en lo que parecia ser una vigilancia visual a mi persona hasta que conduje afuera de las facilidades. Segun mi investigacion he sido informado por otros recursos que seguridad hace las tareas especiales que la gerencia del almacen quiere que ejecute ya sea en general o en contra de algun empleado en especifico.

Esta es la ultima comunicacion en este asunto espero algun resultado y comunicacion por email. En estos momentos no estoy dispuesto a sostener ninguna reunion con HR. Estoy solicitando el sece y desista de esta clase de hostigamiento y persecusion de parte del personal de seguridad y del almacen de Jax3.

Violaciones tipo 2 que parece nadie ve a pesar que se comente en frente de los operadores en el area en ese momento.

Este operador conduciendo el op 198 delante de los demas empleados no cede o se detiene completamente en el cruse frente al escritorio de Recursos Humanos y de Seguridad.

Este operador sin tan siquiera detenerse crusa el pare. El que da para el escritorio de Seguridad y Recursos Humanos. Esto es una violacion crassa tipo 2.

Durante esta hora este operador del OP84 no se detuvo en el pare correspondienta al pasillo 117. Ademas se puede verificar en innumerables videos que este oprerador violando las reglas de saitacion entra al toilet y utiliza todos los servicios del bano sin quitarse el equipo protector contra caidas. Yo he presensiado el evento todas la veces que entro al bano y el entra detras de mi.

Esta empleada esta en el pasillo 495 se ve que ella quiere virar en u adentro de el pasillo el cual es una violacion categoria 2. Esta empleada choca una y otra vez el OP22 en contra de el estante yo pude observar que inclusive lo saco el estante de su posicion original. Moviendo el OP22 en riversa y hacia adelante que es otra violacion categoria 2.

Esta misma empleada se observa todavia con el OP22 regresando al sitio del accidente y se mira en el tope de el estante peleando "unsafety" con una caja en una postura peligrosa.

En esta ocasion el senor George pasa sin tan siquiera reducir la velocidad mientras yo estaba detras de el este es el lado que esta en el escritorio de HR o Seguridad. Esto es una crasa violacion categoria 2 sin ningun Mississippi. A nadie le interesa porque a este empleado no lo estan tarjeteando.

Reporte de incidente ocurrido en Diciembre 4 de 2021 envolviendo OP75

Alrededor de las 3:03 pm del 4 de Diciembre de 2021 en el pasillo 317 del almacen JAX3, La empleada operando el OP 75 en un movimiento inseguro perdio el control del equipo ocasionando dano al estante, a la jaula del OP, y al material estivado en la tablilla del estante localizado en el pasillo 317.

Estando presente puedo observar como la empleada en una forma insegura y sin tomar precausiones pierde el control del equipo tratando de moverse a una velocidad acelerada. Este pasillo que da hacia el frente al escritorio de Multis en el cual otros empleados esta presentes para repartir el trabajo en la pizarra. Puedo observar que el senor Chris es el que esta en el area. Debido a que yo me ubico en direccion en la cual estoy mirando a la empleada y hacia el escritorio en linea recta, en el momento del impacto el Senor Chris esta mirando en la computadora y no es hata que sucede el accidente es que por el ruido fuerte del impacto me percato que el senor Chris esta buscando de donde proviene el ruido.

En ese momento el senor Chris se acerca y llega hasta la escena el esta dilucidando que decir ninguno habla solo observa el area. Estando yo presente me percato que el Senor Chris nunca le pregunta a la empleada que paso. El senor Chris comenta y cito. "La paleta estaba muy afuera verdad?" Ella no contesta por que sabe que no es cierto y solo asiente con la cabeza en un gesto que si. Yo pude percatarme que el senor Chris esta dilucidando lo que habia que decir. Tambien en ningun momento el senor Chris me pregunto que sucedio ya que yo fui testigo y presencie el evento. Un tiempo despues el Senor Chris llama por radio a las personas de safety (Me interesa saber quien asistio el accidente) para que llegaran al pasillo 317. El senor Chris comienza a hacer comentarios jocosos de lo que paso como si lo que ocurrio era un chiste y le indica a la empleada y cito "no te preocupes no pasa nada"

Despues que el senor Chris llama a los de safety me indica que le de un "REJECT" al articulo y me fuera del area. (Esto es muy extrano por que yo soy un testigo de lo que paso) Yo le conteste al senor Chris que voy a esperar y regresar luego en ese momento observo dos empleados entrando al pasillo. Decirme que me valla no es parte del protocolo en un incidente como ese. Hasta donde se los dos empleados nunca fueron molestados para decirles que abandonaran el area.

La empleada siguio trabajando como si nada pasara. Nadie le dijo que se estacionara que fuera a una oficina a reunirse o que le dieran una notificacion de violacion seria. Si el reporte de incidente de ese dia se explica de orta forma como acciente el informe esta erroneo porque esto fue descuido y mal uso del euipo. Las camaras estan ahi. Me interesa saber la conclusion de esta investigacion si hay alguna.

Terrible Service

They use any reason to cancel your order. They just cancel and say "we ran into a snag". Absolutely terrible service. The stars that they have should be taken away. Terrible service. I will tell all my family and friends not to use Amazon Fresh

Used this service for the first time today because I'm home sick and needed supplies to feed my family including my 70lb crazy puppy. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Supposed to be delivered between 1-3pm. At 2pm my entire order was cancelled with no explanation. When I called, they said to try and place it again but that their system was having problems and a lot of people's orders are being cancelled. Well, doesn't seem like a good answer to the problem nor a reliable answer to delivery. I mean wtf? If I can't rely on you when I need you, why would I ever opt to use you again? Ridiculous. Bad on me. I should have read reviews first. Thanks Amazon.

Premetto che si tratta di una recensione esclusivamente per il servizio Prime e metto in chiaro da subito che quanto pagato non vale il servizio reso al cliente. Amazon infatti spinge a iscriversi a Prime primariamente per poter avere la consegna gratuita, ma in realtà tale modalità di consegna gratuita avviene solo per un certo numero di prodotti in vendita su Amazon, non certo per tutti quanti (probabilmente solo un 20-30% dei prodotti presenti su Amazon beneficiano della spedizione gratuita), e in ogni caso si può sempre avere la spedizione gratuita se si acquistano beni per un importo superiore a 29 €, a prescindere da Prime. Tra l'altro la consegna è sì gratuita, ma può spesso accadere che diversi acquisti non vengano nemmeno consegnati - in tal caso occorre chiedere prontamente la risoluzione del contratto d'acquisto e la restituzione dell'intera somma pagata - oppure arrivino in giorni differenti da quelli dichiarati da Amazon. Viceversa, andare a ritirare i prodotti presso un Amazon hub può essere comodo ma è poco indicato per quanto riguarda prodotti pesanti e/o ingombranti. Prime Video, offerto con l'abbonamento Prime, è poi la pay TV di Amazon che serve a invogliare a essere clienti Prime, rivelandosi però tendenzialmente limitata. Molti dei film disponibili si trovano già in rete gratuitamente - ad es. Su YouTube, Dailymotion, FB o RaiPlay - e per altri, così come per serie tv e altri programmi serve pagare un abbonamento a parte, addizionale rispetto a quello Prime di base. Ma anche il database di contenuti disponibili non è vastissimo e in un anno si riesce già a finire l'intero catalogo. A patto che si riesca a vedere. Infatti talvolta accadono degli errori di riproduzione video, per cui non si possono visionare i video, oppure quando si mettono in pausa, si chiude il browser e si rimettono in play una volta riacceso il browser, viene perso il punto in cui si era rimasti a visionare il video. Ma un limite assai rilevante è che molti contenuti non sono nemmeno in italiano, e al limite si possono solo avere i sottotitoli in italiano. Ma è possibile che un'azienda delle proporzioni di Amazon non sia in grado di assumere 4 doppiatori?!
In conclusione Prime può essere utile esclusivamente laddove si abbia necessità di acquistare veramente molti articoli su Amazon, ma nella maggior parte dei casi può anche solo bastare la prova gratuita di un mese di Prime, da disdire tramite il proprio account Amazon il giorno prima del rinnovo.

Beware of Third Party Vendors

I recently bought a lift chair from Amazon unknown to me that it was coming from a 3rd party vendor. The day I got the chair. I contacted Amazon to get it returned. Since products from 3rd party vendors don"t qualify for FREE return shipping I couldn't send it back because shipping charges would be more than what I paid for the chair. I even went thru Amazon's "a to z quarantee". What a joke Amazon did nothing positive. I lost over $400.00 because of the product coming from a Third Party Vendor. Be careful we ordering large items from Amazon 3rd party vendors--You'll be stuck with shipping!

It turns out that Amazon has a veterans program but it does not exist I am a 100% disabled veteran and therefor do not qualify for the disabled program only SSI or SSDI. If you served your country you are out of luck. I have sent all of my paperwork showing my disability and rating but this means nothing to Amazon.

WHY JEFF B? But, WHY?

As a prime member, it's imperative I receive my packages within two days no later than three. That's what I pay for. During the holidays, Jeff and his logistics understand how busy christmas time is but still continue to make stupid choices for money. I ordered a couple of items that have been late, and I have been understanding. However, this one takes the cake. This is the 4th item I've purchased RECENTLY. This package was suppose to be delivered on the 2nd of December. Well, they decided to transfer my package to USPS ON THE DELIVERY DATE! En serio? USPS could care less whether I receive my package on time or not. When I track the package on USPS it says it won't arrive until the 6th… THE SIXTH? Now, I already have packages coming by USPS that are delayed so to take on Amazon packages is making a mess and delaying items even further. I decided to chat with a CSR on the app about the issue and ask how they could rectify the issue and the overseas rep tells me, you will just have to wait. EXCUSE ME? I pay for prime every month and AMAZON IS NEVER LATE TO TAKE THEIR PAYMENT! NEVER! It's clock work, baby.
Jeff, your attitude will catch up to you. It's Christmas time. Forget about USPS and hire more DSP van drivers and flex drivers for the holidays…. Or you could get your bald headed behind in your Mercedes S-AMG style and contribute to the cause at hand! Seriously, you need to do better. Like I said, DITCH USPS and add more drivers to your team because I WANT MY PACKAGES DELIVERED ON TIME!

Amazon CHEATS

Amazon very often sells defective merchandise. They work with merchandisers that cheat, refuse to communicate and don't refund money. It's frustrating to have to spend weeks trying to resolve things and if you don't have the perseverance you won't get anything out of Amazon's a to z guarantee.
I ordered a freezer and spent $250 the seller sent me a freezer I found online for $70.
I had to push the issue to get them to pay for return the shipping.
Then I waited 2 weeks for my refund and had to jump through a zillion hoops to contact Amazon to get my refund.
The tracking information shows that the seller had received the return merchandise 12 days ago... And they still had not refunded my money.
I'm done with Amazon I'm done with their lying and they're cheating because most people will get screwed because they don't have the patience or they don't know how to jump through these hoops to get done what needs to get done.
Word of advice everything you buy do it on a credit card never ever ever use a debit card. With a credit card at least you can contact the bank and you can get a resolution that way.

Signed up for Amazon prime at $12.99 per month, with introductory offer of $1.99 for one week. I only wanted the one shipment/one week service, so cancelled right away. Meaning, I would be billed $1.99 plus 6% tax ($. 12 for Ky sales tax) or a total of $2.11. Yet, they billed me $2.16? Synchrony Bank handles the credit card for Amazon ( which I also signed up for at the same time). I realize it is only a few cents more than it should be, but when I requested information from Amazon via Synchrony they just said it was taxes. Reading from a script no doubt and unable to get any further answers. Not sure why Amazon and Synchrony Bank would overcharge customers and claim it is for taxes. Amazon charges the correct tax (6%) on all the products I have ordered, why is Prime being billed incorrectly? This is worrisome on so many levels. If Amazon is going to inflate the actual published price of a service, they should have that information available to their employees so they can pass it along to the customers they so blatantly overcharge. Don't like feeling like I have been scammed and treated dishonestly.
If it is a legitimate charge, then they should be able to justify it with a breakdown, if there is a "service fee" it should be clearly spelled out on their website. SMH!

This is a joke!

I've ordered numerous times and the order is either totally wrong and/or completely thawed and, of course, missing items or totally wrong. It's really ridiculous. You never know what will be in the sacks but you can count on it not being what you paid for. I'm done Amazon fresh!

My id was stolen and used to open an Amazon account. When I tried to explain to customer service I was routed overseas and they did nothing. Now the bill was up to $27,000.00. It took a police report to have the bills stopped and get my credit fixed.

Fast delivery

This is my go to site if I don't have the time to go to the store. It has almost everything you need. I love the Prime membership cos it can ship most of my orders the next day. The quality of the products is not always great but you can return it and get a full refund. Very convenient and great customer service. I highly recommend it.

Refusing access

I've had Amazon prime for quite some time. Even when I wasn't paying, I was still using Amazon. I have quite a Kindle book library and video bank.

Recently I had an unexpected phone number change. Therefore, I could not receive an OTP at the phone number I'd been using. Every other company, bank, whatever that I work with, has been willing and able to send me an OTP on the email I've always used and on the new phone numbe. But not Amazon. They adamantly claim they can't Verify my identity without asking me to upload My image encrypted, federal ID to their databank, through an email.

So, First, I believe that this is one of the companies that was crying out about how requiring an ID is racist. So are they racially discriminating against me then?

They're also calling me on the phone number they're refusing to send an OTP to, to tell me that they can't verify that I am who they are talking to, so won't send the OTP to the number they are calling...

I've also had an experience trying to buy a round pillow in which they keep sending me a square 1. Why would I trust my image encrypted ID to someone who can't tell the difference between a round and a square pillow?

Meanwhile, they refuse to stop charging me for Prime. I have the bank reverse it and they rebut. But I cannot access my hundreds of dollars of Kindle or video.

I only give this Site a 4 star because they are a good company as far as helping with the issues such as getting the wrong item that you purchased and receiving a refund. I complement Amazon on that. I have yet to give a 5 star because they don't seem to get the item delivered properly, it's either delivered at the wrong address and you never get your purchase or when you do get your item it's not what you purchased. This happens to me quite often with Amazon. Amazon customer service is quick to help you when you contact them with the issues but they need to work more on getting the proper item the customer has purchased and the correct address. I purchased a Bionic Body Soft Kettlebell which is almost like a leather stitched around the bell, but that's not what I received when it was delivered. I received this 10lb hammerton solid hard core kettlebell. Although Amazon did refund me and I am a very happy customer for that but I just never got the correct item I really wanted.
