I love how Amazon has a grocery store and it's delivered to your door step in less than 2 hours its really convenient for me because I work 15 hour days starting at 9am and I don't get off work until 1am the next morning most days I place an order why I'm working and when I get home from work its on my doorstep waiting I will not use any other on line grocery shopping platform Amazon is the best and i have been using it for several years because of my work schedule and hours and the selection is top notch they have everything I like in it i even got my mother shopping on there for stuff groceries too she loves it becausebof our work hours and because we don't have a car to get to a grocery store and Amazon has make grocery shopping easier for both of us because of the fact that they deliver it yo you and there is no service fees associated with it and because we both have a hard time getting around with no car. After placing the order, Amazon says that you can add to the existing order until we start packing. It also gives a button to add more items to the cart. But when you click on it, it says cannot add. Please create a new order. I called customer service who transferred me to fresh help support. They asked me to cancel the complete order and place it again. Result - I will not get the time slot I wanted as it's taken and I may not get all items already in the order. First excuse I got from customer service is that the payment method could be a problem. Second excuse is your order is in the system now. Looks like sorry team is unaware of how fresh works.
I have bought quite a number of ebooks on Amazon and they deliver on time. The ebooks are so informative and I've not seen another online shop that offers great books like Amazon. Kudos and please keep it up
Amazon has a extreme policy about any review that criticizes Amazon itself or that "offends" any of it's more profitable sellers. The will cancel a buyers ability to write reviews and delete all of the buyers reviews without warning or any recourse or possible appeal. Amazon has an extreme censorship policy and will cancel all of a customers reviews without any explanation of why they are doing it. Amazon has grown to a size that gives than absolute power and as we all know, absolute power always corrupts.
I live in an urban area in a multi-family unit. No matter how many notes I leave and how much detail I provide on my account and profile, the imbeciles keep leaving the stuff on my neighbors steps! Stuff gets damaged and disappears if I can't get to it right away (like if I am sick) and there is absolutely no way to get through to them even though you supposed to be able to contact the driver. Customer service is of no use whatsoever. It's a mess.
Using Amazon fresh is at the very least frustrating, due to the search definitely does not bring up correct items. The concept is great and convenient tho it takes waaay too much time to find specific items. Please Amazon!, improve the ability to search for an item and have it come up in the choices. This is a basic tool to save time. Also, please refrain from offering a 2 hour delivery when it really means 2 days from ordering.
I swear I have a new Amazon package on my door step nearly every day. Sometimes they could be shipped better sure but your CANT beat the convenience.
DO NOT USE AmazonFresh! They are the worst most unreliable grocery service. 3 of our last 4 orders were cancelled with no explanation or notice! Each time the order is "packed and ready" and then never shows up and is "delayed" and then cancelled. What's more frustrating is the service provided by Amazon is just terrible - no one can help you/do anything/all pass the buck. They do not help with the issue one bit, and on top of it it's obvious they don't care/we're just a number. If you do try to re-schedule/re-order many items are then not available, only adding to the frustration. Changing to Safeway.com from now on - NEVER AGAIN will we use AmazonFresh. Save yourself the time and frustration and DO NOT USE AmazonFresh - you'll regret it!
Shipping is close to a month or more after ordering, and now very hard to cancel an order. Some items show free shipping and then it shows they did charge you
If you go with Amazon Prime Annual Membership for $119.00 for the year v/s paying $12.99 per month, just know YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED or pro rated money back if you decide to cancel it, even a few weeks in... They keep you on the hook until your membership comes up for renewal.
If you use the Amazon Chase Credit Card for your purchases, and return items- your money is not going back to your card balance. Instead, it goes towards an Amazon "Gift Card" that can NOT be used to pay off the Chase balance, or anything else outside of Amazon. I'm appalled at this business practice. It's like some thrift store that can't afford to refund your money so they only give you in store credit.
I feel bamboozled and I'd like to keep you from making my mistakes
Amazon is going downhill, especially in the customer service department. I recently moved and changed my address and phone to a new number. This caused all kinds of problems with Amazon. First I called Amazon and a man with a very heavy accent answered. I wasn't sure if I had Amazon. He finally said he was from Amazon. He asked me for the last 4 digits of several of my credit cards. He then said he wanted to know the last 3 things I bought from Amazon. I answered all the question he asked of me. Finally after 15 minutes he said he could not approve the change or get me to access my account. He said to call back and try again. This time I spoke to a manager and she was a little better with her English. She said to hold while she checked my account. She came back and said that because of my recent move and phone number change I was locked out of my account. I told her the man I spoke to previously was not much help. She then gave me a new number *******072. I called this number and went through the whole process again with another lady whom also had a very bad accent in which I could barely understand. I told her immediately to give me her supervisor and she did. This supervisor was very nice and her English was better, so that I could finally understand what she was saying. After another 15 - 20 minutes of talking with her and going trough the whole process over again for the 3rd time she was able to get my account working correctly again. She told me there was a lock on it due to the move and phone change. All this took over 3 hours of my time to complete. Also Amazon Prime is not the company they used to be. The video section is poor and has degraded with old reruns and is not worth the money. The customer care is poor and no one speaks proper English so that you can understand what they are saying, and they keep raising their rates. I'm seeing the drivers leave and drop the merchandise on the cement sidewalks without care. This company has gone down hill. I used to give them a 5 but now I give them a 1.
This company pays zero attention to security. They hacked my account recently and tried to steal some $3000 by buying phones, but 2 phone calls and 8 hours later I only received an e-mail saying "We did not find any unautorised acitivity on your account"!? And this is given that the perpetrator indicated their address for shipping!
Another frustrating thing is that they made it impossible to disable the 1-click payment.

Cant even stick with the same day all week been trying to get delivery on same day had to wait two days and things I wanted were out of stock. Oh and they wanted to charge you for late deliveries on when it should have been free too

amazon.com had done truly BAD service with me. I am ordering and checking my bank account balance then money is missing that was ALREADY taken from my account for my ordering purchase. Then I WAS a Prime Member and placed an order (money taken right after placing the order, called and checked balance) the two (2) orders were to be delivered the NEXT day and until this date I have NOT received my order (NEXT DAY my FOOT) and amazon.com would NOT allow ME to CANCEL the order (which is my right to do so), amazon.com give ALL SORTS of EXCUSES as to NOT cancelling my order but I not receiving it as contracted PROMISED "the NEXT DAY" money taken from my debit card account and yet NO MERCHANDISE received by ME! What type of business is this and type of service to PAYING customers to their company! Check your balances of your card accounts when ordering from amazon.com and do NOT tolerate THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE TO ANY and ALL CUSTOMERS with amazon.com. They (amazon.com) truly deserves NO STARS rating a ZERO (0).
Between all the China junk clothes with false good reviews and most brand name shoes being defective, Amazon will be losing me indefinitely as a customer. The last pair of Levi's I bought from them already had a hole above the back pocket. I believe they sell knock offs claiming to be name brand.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
