Amazon is not concern with the products it sells to their customers. I purchased a wig and the seller sent the wrong product. Amazon is not giving me a hard time about getting a refund. We need to start giving it hard earn money to people who appreciate their customers.

After wasting 45 mins with Amazon's assorted virtual agents and 2 live agents, I never got the answer re how to declare "no substitutions ". Have wasted a lot of money receiving products to replace the products actually ordered! Finally Googled it. There IS no way to say no to substitutions! Fine. I'll never use them again and hope to save you wasting your money on groceries you didn't order.

Constantly lock my account saying they suspect fraud, but it's literally me placing an order. Hell to get back in. This time, they told me 24 hours 3 days ago and refused to help or give me someone who could. Had no problem charging me the prime membership though. I returned an item and never got my refund and still haven't received my last order even though my bank account was charged and customer service says they can't help because it's locked. It says call customer service for help, but they can't or won't help. It's all outsourced and $#*! service. Prime is a joke too.

Amazon closed my account pretty much stealing hundreds of dollars of stuff that I had returned, I was told that I repeatedly returned items that were not the original (which was false) and that any money that I was expecting to receive from a refund, was not going to be refunded. So pretty much Amazon has stolen money from me, a single father of a little girl. And it's been happening for several years by the way. Where months after I return an item, I recieve an email saying, that if I did not return the item by (whichever day) I would be charged $xx amount. Check your emails, they're stealing from everyone. Unable to upload proof of purchase because, well I cant get on my (now closed unwillingly) Amazon account.

It's great sort of

It's great if you want to get items a fairly good price. But if you write more then a few reviews that are positive then obviously your lying and just make stuff up because you were told too. And I've never wrote a review that was told to be positive about because that really unethical. But I have written good and bad reviews for things I've bought. And if that seller insisted I only write a good review for them I've either reported them or I just write a bad review about there practices. But I'm told I don't follow the guidelines to review on Amazon which is wrong. Because I am honest, i am ethical. And I will not lie about anything even if it's something that someone gave me because they wanted a review from me. It's call ethics I know in this day and age ethics are not the way they used to be but im old school I believe in a honest, integrity, and my word. Because my word is the one thing that I have that no one can give me, or take away from me. It's the one thing i was born with that's mine and mine alone. It's also what I've taught my children. So nope won't lie, won't cheat and I won't steal.

Watch Your Money

I used to be a fan of Amazon. I even encouraged my family members to give them a chance to fix it when problems came up but I won't be doing that anymore. I have been trying to order something for a month but keeping hitting my head against the wall. The money is taken from my bank account. I get an order confirmation with shipping details but the next day they said my payment was declined. This happened SEVERAL times. When I checked my account, the money had been taken out by AMAZON.com but I was denied shipment. I finally called them and 3 departments later my payment was miraculously there. This was a birthday gift but I won't be receiving it until a month after the birthday. So much for fast, convenient, and honest. They don't even tell you that when you opt for a free trial of Amazon Prime that the benefits don't apply to everything so if you order something the discounts and free shipping are hit or miss. No honesty in advertising here.

NEW AMAZON FRESH SCAM

I ordered some groceries and a couple of items were missing and some of them were leaked. Excess packaging was found. I had to wait for about an hour to raise a complaint and then they asked me to wait for 3 days so they can carry out their so-called investigation. After that, I had to get back to them to get the update. Again a couple of their attendees skipped the chat and didn't leave any response about the so-called investigation. At last, after waiting for another hour, I get to know that they are ready to refund the amount. I mean, if someone has to go through so much to get their money back for the missing item is too much and many people wouldn't even wait for so long. That's some easy money for Amazon. I feel this is a scam for sure. Idk if People working at the head department of Amazon are aware of it or not, I believe that this is happening. This is what I felt about my Amazon Fresh order.

Horrible customer service/communication

The only thing positive about Amazon is that your package usually arrives early but other than that, the customer service is horrible, they can barely speak English, do not own up to there mistakes, use every excuse in the book for a bad decision they make and do not keep you informed about your order. I ordered a "elden ring book" the day after the game released for my wife and it was in stock, waited a month for the book and Amazon emails me to say they took it upon themselves to cancel my order without consulting with me first then want to say they didn't charge me for the order when it clearly came out of my account!
Amazon is a scam and will never get my money ever again!

AMAZON STEALS

MY HUSBAND ADDED HIS GIFT CARD TO HIS ACCOUNT ON AMAZON. AMAZON GIFT CARDS. THEY SAID IT WAS SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY BECAUSE IT WAS MULTIPLE CARDS ON HIS ACCOUNT. THEY CLOSED HIS ACCOUNT AFTER HE SENT THEM PROOF OF PURCHASE ON THE GIFT CARDS, AND NEVER GAVE HIM THE 130$ WORTH GIFT CARDS ON HIS ACCOUNT. THEY KEPT IT ALL. NOW THEY REFUSE TO GIVE IT BACK TO HIM AND SAY HE NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT AT ALL.

Ordered Amazon fresh for my family to be delivered at the first window they provided on the morning. Wed just gotten back from a trip, so no food for breakfast. An hour after it was supposed to arrive nothing and customer service couldn't resolve. I had to push just to get the delivery fee refunded. Horrible service, don't use or trust it.

If anyone is thinking about spending even 1cent on this company please know your money is going to a company who fired my terminally ill son because he missed 12 hours of work because he is sick as hell from Chemo. Phonix Arizona Amazon your company sucks and I will make sure I let the public know. I don't know to many company's that would do this to an employee. Do you have any Idea what its like to be fighting brain cancer? 2 brain surgery 25 rounds of Radiation and 8 long months of Chemo all in one year and working a full time job. Even worse What its like to loose your job and medical benefits after going thru all of this and only missing 12 hours in a little over a year. God will be the one to judge the people responsible for this.

I made an amazon account because i was given an amazon gift card. I purchased a roblox gift card using the amazon gift card, and my amazon account was locked because somehow me buying a roblox card is suspicious. Whatever. I put in my information to get my account unlocked, and a few hours later, my account still wasn't unlocked. However a new notification appeared when i tried to log in saying they reviewed the information i sent but they still need more. It said to follow the instructions in the text message they sent me, but the text message they sent me tells me to log in, but when i log in it tells me i need to follow the text message instructions. Makes sense? No? Great because i was confused too. The text message had no "instructions". I called customer service and the tl; dr is "sorry idk how to help u lol bye". I thought i would just try again and make a new account, so i did. I tried to load my gift card again and it said the gift card was locked.

Tl; dr - amazon locked my account the moment i tried to buy something, and froze my amazon gift card essentially stealing 25 dollars from me with no hope of getting it back.

How can you avoid an experience like this?
Dont buy from amazon. Buy from the home store of the sellers on amazon. Not only does it keep money out of greedy bezos's pockets, not only can it be cheaper than buying from amazon, but it also helps you avoid every single painful moment i spent on the amazon website. This was quite literally the worst experience ive ever had while on the internet. Dont ask for amazon gift cards for your birthday or christmas. Ask for visa gift cards. Theyre like amazon gift cards except you can buy anything, not just amazon stuff.

Final thoughts - my first impressions of amazon are as followed: amazon scammed me out of my money, if your account gets locked (which i guess happens every time you try to buy something?) just give up and delete your account because you aren't gonna get it back. Did you have gift cards loaded onto that account? Say bye bye to that money because you just got scammed. Avoid amazon at all costs.

Today I received my order which included 3 packages (a total of 7 items altogether). My items were easy to track, the delivery driver arrived on time and was very courteous and all of my items were in perfect condition. I enjoyed the service I received as well as the products I purchased. Kudos to Amazon!

Changed the game

I know a review for Amazon isn't even needed but man did this platform change the playing field! Their customer service is superb and shipping times increased the quality of life for world-class procrastinators (me!). Sometimes their quality control is questionable but that's where the good service comes in.

Sick of waiting for y'all

I bought a digital code for the Sims 4 and never received my product. Yet they still took my money. I called customer service a couple of times and they bull**** me, telling me to wait for the Amazon Specialist THEY AINT CONTACTED ME ONCE and this happened over a month ago! I don't care about the product, I want my money back!
