In the passed two months now I have been trying to get a decent pair of shoes. I suffer plantar Fasciitis and heel spurs on both feet. I have Psoriasis and it causes joint pain. I also have an injury. I just want a good pair of shoes. The many returns and BS that I am experiencing is and extra problem I can do without. I am exhausted with even contacting Amazon. This is not the Altra Brand. This is an excellent brand. This fake brand is messing that up! I haven't had these for a month yet.
Amazon does not let you know how to contact them directly. It's search engine is worse than Google. I tried to find loctal electron tube sockets. The search engine showed me Loctite products. I clicked on "search loctal tube sockets instead". Rather than finding loctal bases, it still showed me things vaguely similar in spelling. I tried just searching "8 pin tube sockets" and managed find a few sockets of the type I needed in a n array of items that had one, two or three words in common with what I was looking for. Bizarrely enough, some of the sockets that matched what I was looking for with the new search words has loctal in the product title. What is it with search engines that can not admit they are stumped or that ignore key words right in front of them? I tried to order a meter long membrane potentiometer (think a volume control made out of plastic membranes that you simply press a finger on to adjust). They placed it in a long tube lightly stuffed with paper. The membrane potentiometer ended up crumpled and now unusable in one end of the tube when I received it. They gave me my money back, but they did not correct the shipping issue (other shippers put the membrane potentiometer between two stiff pieces of cardboard to keep it from flexing and getting kinks that short it out and make it unable to lie flat). Rather than rethink how to ship a long, thin product that is damaged by flexing (and send me a replacement) for the good of the company and their customer service, they simply stopped carrying membrane potentiometers and gave me a refund. I ordered a surfactant (fancy word for detergent) for an herbicide I needed to kill some weeds with. Instead of a bottle of the liquid, I got 4 4x4 foot olive drab satin wedding table covers. I contacted them about what to do about this error on their part. I was told perhaps that was what I had intentionally ordered. I did not appreciate them wasting my time by not correcting the situation right after I brought it to their attention.
I can't pinpoint the "cure", but our Amazon drivers and the delivery experiences themselves have really improved. I did manage to find a delivery instructons sign that helped, after making sure that Amazon's name was included on the sign (along with USPS, UPS and FedEx)... and it's being paid attention to. The drivers are friendly and courteous, and the packages are being left inside the screenroom exactly as directed. Not dropped outside on the sidewalk and left to blow down the street. Much better, very pleased.
I won't say that every delivery driver is a problem, but it's easily half or more. We have no problem with inside-porch deliveries from USPS, UPS, FedEx or LaserShip. Amazon? Not good. Do delivery instructions in big capital letters make a difference? Only IF THEY WOULD READ THEM. Mine is by far not the only complaint. Please, Amazon -- either give us someplace to file complaints or hire drivers who pay attention. Throwing a small, lightweight package outside to blow down the street is NOT a "secure" way of delivering.
To say that I'm a frequent shopper at Amazon is an understatement. I've placed hundreds of orders, never once had an overall negative outcome. Any problems with a seller, delivery or order issue, Amazon has been quick to make it right. Their chat and phone customer services are just great. It's the first place I look to locate and price shop everything.
Great timing, I appreciate the delivery time a lot! Always on time, fast and convenient. Had a couple of returns, everything went smoothly.
Please do not deal with this company... they offer the worst customer experience you could imagine. I purchased a Clock Radio where the PCB board developed a fault and would no longer work after about 8 months. On contacting Amazon, too many times to count over a 3week period, I was told that they only have a 3month warranty with 3rd Party sold products. The staff are trained to lie and give silly platitudes and promises which are all total crap. Can't think of a single good point in their favour... they are deceptive and untruthful and should not even be allowed to trade in this country. Makes EBay look like gold standard!
Customer service is a ghost at Amazon, impossible to locate how to contact and impossible to get any help. If it's not automated it doesn't exist at Amazon. Like so many companies these days customer service SUCKS!
Some time ago I bought Oculus Quest 2 from Amazon and entered an address in Serbia as destination.
Paid $450 for the product and $150 for shipping and customs.
Less than 5 days later my order has been updated to delivered, while I got nothing.
When I searched how I can contact Amazon support there was a phone option. When trying to select Serbia, there was no phone number.
Other option was writing to Amazon support which I did. No response even today after a year.
After 10 days when nothing else worked I entered a negative review explaining that my order status is delivered, and that there is no trace of the order I paid $600.
Amazon just deleted my review as not being related to a product and still no-one contacted me, not even to say they are investigating, or for me to wait just a little longer.
In the end 3 weeks later I did receive the item, but I was furious that Amazon didn't even respond to my complaint, and that I paid $600 and have no right to know where my money or shipment is even though there was tracking and UPS was in charge of the shippment.
Anyway I will never buy anything else from Amazon, since this leaves a lot of potential for scam, and Amazon will not even react.
At least not for Serbia.
My third visit: None of Fresh flowers had prices, usually on the cellophane. Had to find a person, then had to tell him to scan it bc clearly he didn't know what to do. It's close to Easter week-end should have prices. Then some other food items no pricing. I don't have time for searching for prices. Then over to hot food, looked dried out. Then it was a production to get a answer as to whether the sign saying I get small soup free with sandwich. The actual deli person was like OH I don't know. Then when looking up at the board for the sandwich choices, it stops and moves to an advertisement. So I'm then suppose to go ready the actual sandwich labels. Loud loud music playing. I think you were trying to make it an event.
I will say the cashier young man was very friendly and did his job well.
Your prices are a little higher than most grocery stores. I think you need to train your customer service and the manager should be sure everything has prices. If I get a good coupon I'll be back but no not again.

Today an Amazon delivery driver parked in the handicap spot this is unacceptable! This is pure laziness at other people's expense, disgraceful.
Today, I went 2nd time to new Lisle, IL Amazon fresh, billing person is not even smiling/ asking. For card payment he just pointing the swiping machine.
I really enjoy shopping with Amazon, they are fast, reliable, I LOVE their new way to return items. It's so simple. Just take your item to your local UPS store and they will handle it from there. You don't have to package it or anything. Of course there are other ways to return and item, but this is my favorite offered by Amazon. Once the item is in the Amazon system that it has been returned to a UPS store or whatever option you choose to return your item. Within a few hours you will see the credit back to your account. I'm waiting to see what else Amazon will come up with next.
They have everything and its not cheaply made stuff from china! The more you pay tho the better the item! The more time tou investigate things the better the deal
Ive used amazon since 2008 & since the takeover by foreign interests, the customer service has fallen off terribly. I purchased a dental kit( bad cavity) & had to wait a month to receive this garbage from India, that turned out to be some old crap they had sitting on their selves. I let them know the product continued to fall apart. They refused to refund my money & amazons a to z guarantee has yet to kick in. My problem isn't so much the kit but the lackluster customer service. Some person named Saima & another named Lipi both dropped the chat on me (basically hung up) when i requested my money back. I want ppl to see who this company is since they appear to be a fake. I appreciate sitejabber for looking out for the consumer when others like amazon fail miserably.

When shopping at Amazon you can get so many things, from Vitamins to Books and other electronics. Items are fairly priced, and shipping is pretty fast and sometimes earlier than I expected.
I have been an amazon prime customer for years, i have hundreds of purchases with honest reviews, out of the blue one day i tried to leave a review on some of my purchases because i was behind on my reviews, and it said all of my reviews had been removed and I was not allowed to write anymore reviews on amazon, they said i violated their community rules, i contacted them and said i had done nothing wrong, they said i was writing fraudulent reviews and receiving gifts for doing it, it was an outright lie, I have never received a gift for a review and all my reviews were honest, they said they would not go back on their decision, but here's the thing, they won't even let me ask a question about a product i am considering purchasing, and they don't mind still charging my account for prime, Amazon is the crookest business out there and people need to know, all they do is take, take and take from people, they don't care about you the customer, they care about your money, end of story, I cancelled my prime and will go back to ebay, it's much much better, even dollar general is better than amazon

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
